Chapter 2
The skeleton finally woke up at a somewhat decent time, yawning as his eyes slowly opened. Great, he was still in that same old room he's locked himself in to hide away. But before he even got up, he heard his brother yelled something that was quite incoherent? He wasn't sure, but he got up stretching his skeletal limbs before he headed out of his room. Of course his brother was cooking breakfast, but..it was different? It wasn't lasagna though, which made him question himself. Heading down the stairs slowly as he hesitantly walked over to the kitchen. Only for his brother to glance back at him, then pointing over to a plate of eggs he had made. Eggs? When the hell was this tall skeleton making something that wasn't his favored lasagna? Huh..maybe he was actually using the cook book that he got for him as a gift for Christmas.
"Go Sit, I Need To Speak With You"
His cold voice spoke as he nodded slightly, grabbing his plate as he sat at the table. Staring down at the eggs that his brother even bothered to make. Why did he cook him something different? And why did he still keep him alive? He was such a burden..he only caused harm..why did the younger one even give him the dumb collar..although he uncomfortable with it, he didn't even felt like he deserved such a thing. Although he didn't eat until his brother finally came over, god it was just so..awkward. He avoided eye contact, messing with his food before his younger brother spoke again.
"Have You Been Hiding Things From Me?"
The skeleton felt something shoot at his cracked soul as the younger brother asked. Sheesh, was it that obvious? Maybe hiding in his room, and sometimes having his bones stained with tears was something suspicious..but he couldn't bare to tell his brother anything. No, he couldn't let him see his scarred bones that weren't caused by him either. His eyes slowly looked up at the menacing skeleton, before a slow reply left his teeth.
"What?..tch I don't know what you're talking about Boss"
He let out a sigh of relief mentally, geez this was so hard to do. He's been telling him lies all of his life. It's become so easy to do so, which made him feel guilty that he kept doing it. It's not like he didn't trust his brother, but he was scared?.. he didn't want him to worry, he has to worry about the monsters trying to kill him more. And he didn't want to look so weak and vulnerable..the brother may kick him out or even yell at how idiotic he's become.. if it wasn't for his brother or the collar he'd surely get kidnapped in a heartbeat. He was such an easy target for LV. Even if he did kill monsters before..his HP stayed the same

That's all it's been his whole life and that's why he's been so useless. But, not using his magic like he used to didn't help either..there hasn't been a reset in forever..and his brother was making sure monsters don't touch his property. So it's become..unfamiliar to him.. he could still use it but it exhausted him. Draining his energy rather quickly than before. God he was such a weakling, why was his brother still keeping him alive? His thoughts paused for a moment, guess he was so deep in thought that he hadn't realized his brother was giving that damned concerned look again. He went to finish his food before he stood up from the table to avoid anymore questions. He couldn't confess his hidden feelings..he couldn't let him know how weak he's become..and he could never let him know that he's been hurting from the resets of his death..
"Heh, well that was a good chat huh?.. I'm gonna go to work then I'll see you later Boss.."
The skeleton spoke as he set his plate down, walking past the taller skeleton to grab his mustard smelling jacket. He gave a small wave before. The door closed. He was gone again. The lonely and sad skeleton that was fearful left once more..
If only he knew.
