" I will stay here" Dawn said as the girls asked her again.

" You will be okay right? Safe RIGHT? No boys right?"Misty asked worriedly.

"Of course now go! Shoo" Dawn shoved all of them out.
if Dawn knew that the girls had not yet left and were still there, she wouldn't have done what she did what she did next. She took out her Casio and started playing.

As Dawn finished tears came in her eyes. She remembered the song, that her mom wrote. They used to sing along many songs that her mom wrote together.
Until....she got targeted by cancer.

Outside
The girls recorded the whole song, did a happy dance and high five each other. They haven't heard Dawn sing, but saw her prizes. Since they were out of the room, they couldn't see or hear Dawn crying. They happily skipped and decided to give the recording to a famous musician who lived deep in the forest of the Cerulean city. They WhatsApp Dawn that they would be back at 11:00 pm.

Dawn wiped her tears and put the photos she was seeing on the bed. She heard something and looked behind. But she saw no one. She felt like someone was watching her the whole time when she was singing the song. She saw a shadow below the curtains, which were swaying. She placed the Casio aside and started walking towards the curtains. Slowly she took her hands out and was about to knock knock. Dawn turned towards the door and then at the curtain. She then took out the bat that was besides the curtain and started walking towards the door cautiously. She opened the door ready to attack when she saw Bonnie with her sad face. Dawn looked at her with concern.

"Are you alright? Come in" Dawn said as she looked at Bonnie sitting on the bed thinking. Dawn looked at the ceiling, she saw something rushing to the door. She gulped and closed it as Bonnie didn't notice.

" Anyways... So want to talk about it?" Dawn said looking at Bonnie who shook her head in response.

"No" She replied.

"As you wish, well I am making hot chocolate for you and I'm not getting no as a answer get that? Good." Dawn said as she went inside the kitchen.

Bonnie sighed as she looked around the room. There were four bed for each girls. The bed which she sat on belong to May. It was red in colour with a green pillow. The bedsheet had something, to read that Bonnie stood and smiled, 'YOU'RE SPECIAL' was written on it. Looking around, Misty's bed was blue in colour with a horsie drawn on the pillow. It didn't had anything written, Leaf had green bed with a brown pillow. Dawn had a full pink bed, nothing special in that though. Until her eyes landed on a picture, there was a women who was playing guitar and Dawn sitting eagerly and singing. Must be her mother. She walked towards Dawn's bed and picked the photo, Something fall off from it. She bend and picked it up. Bonnie tilted her head in confusion. Who is She?

As soon as Dawn returned Bonnie started asking her a question. "Who is the girl in this photo?" Dawn looked at Bonnie then at the picture, she smiled sadly.

"J, her name is J. She was one brave girl, stubborn and talkative."

"She 'was'?" Bonnie said sitting down as Dawn handed her the Hot chocolate cup. She took a sip and then looked up, seeing Dawn a bit uneasy made her feel uneasy. " If you don't want to then it's Okay."

" No it's fine, atleast after this you would be more open to us." Bonnie looked at her confused, while she took deep breathe and started.

"Well J had another name too, given by me. Since she had curly hair, me and mom called her curls. Curls was -like I mentioned- quite talkative, She didn't had any family. We first met when I saw her looking sad, later we found her playing with the dogs, the street ones. I was first quite afraid of dogs but because of her, I love them now. I-"

" Dogs? Does she live with them? Near the sewer?"

Dawn made a face but shook her head.

"No, in our town no dogs were found even near sewer. And no interruption. Plus when I asked her where she lived she replied at the top of the mountain. S-"

"Have you ever being there?"

Dawn took deep breath to calm her down after all it's a child, Who wants a child to cry?

"Yes , it was a bea-"

"Okay now continue your flashback" That had Dawn for a minute.

" If you please excuse me." She said walking towards the washroom. When she entered it, she slapped her hand at the wall. Biting her lip, she came out.

" It was a beautiful place at the top of the mountain. Where you can see the most wonderful scenery ever. The beautiful lakes , waterfall, birds, The sunset was the best there. Every single harmless animal you can think of, it was there." Dawn paused to look at Bonnie.

"We used to shop together-that's another scene- and we use to argue together and by that I mean of someone argue with us we argue back. Curls and I were like the Best friends..... Until....

One day Curls came up running in my house and quickly pushed my mom out of the balcony. I was furious as tears were falling down my cheek. I yelled at her that she'll be sorry. I could feel my temper getting the worst out of me. I charged at her but she grabbed my hand and threw me out of the balcony. Luckily I landed on something soft, I looked up and saw my mother. I felt someone land besides me, Curls whistled, I saw dogs carrying two boats in which one of them they sat and the other, Curls made us sit. My mom was silent while I argued with Curls. Oh! I almost forgot to mention! My house was located near a dam.

Flashback
"Dawn sorry, calm down you have to listen to me! Ther-" She couldn't complete her sentence as we heard something crack. I looked up and saw that the dam, which Curls told me about yesterday would break, was actually breaking. I looked at Curls horrified.

The dam broke as the water rushed like a mad waves came towards us and took us with it.. I nearly lost my balance when the boat started moving. I was so confused, All my house ,my city was destroyed. All of us were speechless. Suddenly something fall from Curls hand in the water. She gasped and without thinking -which she mostly do-she jumped in the water.

"CURLS!!"Both of us screamed. I thought nothing could go worse than this but, the current become stronger.

I was so sad,  I cried silently until I heard my name . I looked up and saw her, struggling to keep up. She threw something which my mom caught. My eyes were fixed on Curls. As she gave me a satisfied smile with her signature wave. "CURLS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Flashback ended

I looked at the thing I got from her, it was her locket which she used to wore. Later there were more boats seen but full of animals. Even some were filled with my family things. I miss her a lot." Dawn ended her story as a tear fell down her cheek. Dawn showed her, the locket as she silently wipe her tears.

"I'm sorry" Bonnie said feeling ashamed.

"No it's just.....fine...So you want to talk about it?" Bonnie was first confused but then she realized what Dawn meant. She shook her head "Maybe some other time. Could I stay here with you?" Dawn nodded as she kept the locket in a safe place.

"She must be special for you." Bonnie whispered to herself but Dawn had heard that. She silently smile remembering what were the last words before Curls death that she didn't mentioned.

We may be apart physically, But my soul will always be there with you!
