Dear readers,
I have made some certain targets for my three books
1) The Heartbreaking Truth
2) The Mystery Girl
3) If only it was meant to be

People reading this book, are lucky cause I am planning to complete it. And unfortunately for me, it's going to take more than 10 chapters or so. But I'll let you all know The ending is priceless. This book and most probably the emotions you'll feel while reading it, is worth a shot. don't forget to share it with your friends :)

In the second book, the mystery girl, I don't have much expectations or nor do I know where I'll be heading. But I have few chapters planned. Like 6 more chapters for this summer and other for later.

And the first one. Damn. I have more than 20 chapters planned for it T^T I have to speed up that book so for that I have to finish this first. And there are other things I have to focus. Like there is so much more to do

The following morning, Misty was the first to wake up. She immediately checked May's bed and felt relaxed to find the beauty sleeping peacefully. She sighed.

How could I forget to call her

Misty cursed herself inside her mind. Last night, when Leaf said those hurtful words to her, she couldn't hold her tears back. Dawn may have told them to call it a night and to go to sleep, but she wasn't able to. Misty cried herself to sleep. Maybe.. Maybe that's why she didn't wake up.

She sat besides May and gazed at her.

They all are here. They all are a team. But of course, Misty forgot that they're individuals as well. She shouldn't hold them so tight that they feel suffocation.

I am so sorry May and Leaf. I am not worth it. There are times when I doubt myself and my decisions. You all are too precious to me. I feel afraid at times, that I might lose you all or you all might don't want to be friends with me. I don't ever want to lose this bond. Ever. I should leave you all... But I don't want to. You all. You all complete me. There is nothing more I want except you all. There.... there seems to be some sort of inevitable insecurity and pressure inside me....that someday you all will be hurt and I wont be able to do anything at all. All this time, I thought I was helping you all, helping you grow and at the same time stay in limits. I never realized when I crossed mine. I am not your mother. But.... but I don't ever want to lose you all. I am really sorry Leaf... May.... I really am..

Misty looked at the door and then at Dawn.

I think... I think I know what I am going to do to make things work. And I'll make it work.

Misty looked at the time, it was 6 am. The first period would be homeroom. Misty quickly messaged Will and Tracy that she won't be attending the school today.

I just hope I'll pull it off alone.

She thought as she left.

After an hour, the alarm began ringing.

"SHUT THE HECK UP" Dawn yelled, throwing a pillow at the alarm. Leaf winced as May stirred in her sleep.

"What the hell Dawn..." Leaf said drowsily. May groaned as she woke up.

"What time is it?" Leaf asked.

Dawn lazily picked up the alarm clock.

"7:15 am." she read yawning.

"Already? But I want to sleep morrreeee." May whined.

"At what time the school starts?" Leaf asked, stretching herself.

"7:15." Dawn answered as she covered herself with her blanket.

After a minute

"WWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT" Leaf screamed as she woke up, snatched Dawn and May's blankets.

"GET UP LAZY BUMS WE'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!" Leaf yelled.

"If we were late... Misty would have been yelling. You're the one yelling right now." Dawn pointed out smiling.

"And also, The clock might be faulty." May pointed out as she stood up, her hair a mess.

"SECOND DAY IN THIS SCHOOL YOU IDIOTS" Leaf yelled and then glanced towards Misty's bed. "MISTY ISN'T EVEN HERE!?!?!?!?!?" she screamed. May and Dawn's eyes widen as they gasped.

"SHE COULDN'T POSSIBLY LEAVE US ALONE HERE COULD SHE!?!"
"I DON'T KNOW NOW LET'S GET OUT OF THOSE PJ AND HURRRYYY"
"AAAAHHHH WHERE IS MY COMB!? ANYBODY SEEN IT!?!?"
"CAN'T FIND MY UNIFORM!!!"
"ITS PROBABLY UNDER YOUR BED MAY!"
"THANKS LEAF!"
"I LOOK LIKE A MONSTER!!! THERE IS A DROOL ON MY FACE!!! EWWWWW"
"DON'T YOU DARE SPEND YOUR TIME ON MAKE UP DAWN!!"
"ARE YA CRAZY!? I AINT GONNA LOOK LIKE A DROOLING ZOMBIE!!! AND MY HAIR TAKES AN HOUR TO SETTLE!!!"
"JUST CUT IT! NO HAIR NO HAIR PROBLEMS!"

Things were thrown here and there, Dawn immediately dressed up, applied such perfume that the whole room was filled with rose scent.

"Great! No need to put perfume on me!"
"Let's just hope we don't fall asleep in classes!"
"And we have to take bathe when we come back ASAP"
"AWW MANNN I DON'T WANNNAA"
"SHUT UP MAY!"

All of a sudden Dawn noticed something.

"Uh Leaf? Nature call for ya?" she pointed at the japan flag on Leaf's bed.
"Wh-what!??! SERIOUSLY NOW!?!?!?! DAMMIT SCREW YOU LITTLE BLOODY-" Dawn threw the sanitary pad at Leaf's face as she began combing her hair.

"Guys,did ya all packed your bags?"
Silence

"MAY YOU'RE FREE PACK MINE NOW!!! QUICK!!!"
"HEY WHY ME!?"
"SHUT UP AND DO IT!!!"

The girls took half an hour to get ready. They had missed the homeroom as well as their second period.

"We're so dead." May and Dawn spoke together.

" I couldn't see worse week ever. Second day in school, japan flag on the bed, Misty not found. What a lovely beginning of the second day." Leaf murmured, mad.

The girls soon separated ways. Leaf and Dawn went to English class while May went to Maths. May discovered that Misty is absent. The girls were 5 minutes early as the second period didn't begin. So they easily escaped punishment.

Brunch was there. May and others decided to take turns for bathe and food. May went in first while other two ate. After awhile, when all were done and some time was left for their next period, it was revealed to the other two that May didn't see Misty.

"Is she okay?" Dawn asked. "I think so" May replied. "I think she'll come soon."
Leaf looked down, wondering if Misty went away because of her. Dawn glanced at her and shook her head. Leaf gave a short nod, grateful for the comfort. Even if no words were spoken, the girls understand each other quite well. May didn't know what they were 'talking' silently about, but she knew it had something to do with Misty and Leaf. She didn't dare say a word. But soon broke the silence that engulfed them.

"Dawn, Leaf told me you have a plan?" She asked, looking at her. Dawn eye's lid as she nodded vigorously.

"I spent sometime thinking-"May looked surprised " Don't be surprise and don't tease me!"she added

"Anyways so, since we know that all the mystery begins with a mysterious castle. This castle, is the source of what kills the people. Maybe, we can conduct an online survey so that people will tell us some useful information about it?" Dawn suggested.
"That's a great idea Dawn!!" May exclaimed clapping her hands joyfully.

"Yeah alright. But what's the guarantee that they'll answer us? If we reveal our identity and conduct, suppose, a telephonic survey, it would reach all people living in this city. But also the main culprits. If they find out that we're after him then it won't end good." Leaf pointed out.

"I know I know, that's why I said I have a great idea with possible setbacks!" Dawn protested.

"Hmm."

"But,what if the culprits aren't a citizen of this city?" May asked.

"Doesn't matter, people will gossip more, and soon it'll reach their ears. So nothing can be done in there. They can easily hack into people's account and answer our question." Leaf answered.

"Then is there something we can do?" Dawn asked looking at Leaf.

"I guess, I can track the people who are answering. We can make the answers private and not visible to public, so that in case we get any valuable inputs, we can check on em and those culprits won't even find out. But if we make our accounts anonymous, people won't trust us. They might think we're the culprits who want to kill those who answer to us. While on the other hand if we don't make our accounts anonymous, the culprits might find us and we can be their next target." Leaf explained.

May thought about what she should do. The culprits are the vampires and the werewolves. But they don't know anything about the castle. She isn't going to point it out to Drew too. If she becomes a obstacle for this survey, things might become nasty. Something or the other has to be done.But luckily, the survey wouldn't be conducted, so they ain't gonna find out about them.

"Or you can use my help." Cynthia said.from behind. The girls stood up and greet their teacher. "I came here to talk to Leaf about that crystal, but I found your conversation rather intriguing. The citizens here know me, so you all can go ahead with my account. I'll give you the details."

"Brilliant! That means we can start from right now!" Dawn exclaimed. Leaf thought about it while May became anxious.

"Yeah! A-and I'll take the responses!" May spoke, relieved at her idea.
"Sure, you could then forward those responses to us. But not now, I have to get the materials for my experiment and also give third-fourth of the sum to the real owner of the crystal." Leaf answered as she took the check that Cynthia was handing her. Leaf noticed the crystal's light in Cynthia's pocket.

"It'll be best if you kept it somewhere safe Ma'am" Leaf suggested.

"Oh I will, don't you worry." She replied nonchalantly.

'I have to talk with the boys regarding it.' May thought. She couldn't let Leaf conduct her experiment. Something has to be done.

"Anyways, Dawn, I want you to take part in the Singing Competition. Misty told me about your prices and there is a very famous musician who is organizing it. And I make it mandatory for you to participate. The trials are today itself. Two people will be selected for the city level and the winner will be selected for the regional. Your friend Misty is busy preparing the stage with few others." Cynthia said as she left the cafeteria.

Dawn nodded,but her heart felt heavy.She left singing since her mother died. She couldn't possibly take part. No matter what.
