We were seventeen and in love. It had been months and we hadn't kissed yet. My friends teased me that I was being a prude and should make my first move. So unfortunately, I listened to them.

We were on one of our dates in the cinema and it was quite dark. The movie couple was just about to kiss and I thought it was the right time. I leaned towards right and not towards left where you were sitting, my bad. My lips touched an old man's moustache and I gasped in absolute shock and horror. The old man who felt violated roared and shot up from his seat. I shrieked and buried my head in the crook of your neck. You were oblivious to the entire situation with popcorn stuffed in your mouth.

We were kicked out of the movie theatre and I looked at you in embarrassment. You kissed my forehead lovingly and said, "I don't want to rush with you, Boo . . . because I know that I got you, forever."
