[JON'S POV]

I know what you're thinking. Why do I want to sleep after getting up from a long sleep... well, simple really. I'm just tired.. and judging on those bags under Damian's eyes.. I'm guessing he didn't get enough sleep. So, I think it's better if we get a good night rest. Plus, there's nothing else to do at the moment. However, we're not going to sleep yet. Well, I'm not... I'm goi-.. you'll know.
I got out of bed and switched off the lights. I then walked over to the balcony and opened the curtains to let in some moon light. The room was bright enough for me to catch his beautiful eyes. I lay next to him and pulled him closer to my chest. One of my hand was around his body and the other, stroking his hair. His legs were around mine, his head resting against my chest and my chin on his head.
Our first cuddling together. After a few minutes of silence, I started talking.

Me: Let's not worry about what's gonna happen in the future. Let's enjoy the here, and the now. (Stroking his hair)

Damian: It's amazing that we accepted each other... knowing how different we are..

Me: Shhhh...

And then, I began. I figured this is a perfect time to sing him a song. It's from one of my favourite singers, Phil Collins.. titled You'll Be In My Heart. I'm no pro at singing. But I've taken a couple or three music lessons from pa so I think I should be fine.

The journey of a beautiful relationship starts now. There are many more adventures up ahead... and I can't wait to venture it together with him. My love.
