[DAMIAN'S POV]

I started by going through the menu, checking for any interesting apps.... Turns out, he doesn't have many downloaded apps. He only has two games apps which are Temple Run, and Ninja Fruit Slice.... Other apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Twitter are also in there... Up next, I decided to see his gallery.. I tapped on it and it opened. There weren't many folder in it as well.. Just Camera, Download and WhatsApp image folder. The camera folder contained 10 items in it.. There were 2 videos and 8 pictures. I felt curious when I spotted my face on one of those videos.. I tapped play. The video began playing, showing Jon's face.

[JONS VIDEO]

Jon: (recording, using his front camera) Hey there!! I know what you're thinking, and I'm not... recording this video to post it on YouTube or any social media. It's just for fun. So, today I'm here at the Wayne Manor, (switched to the back camera and recording the Manor) home to my buddy Damian, and the all mighty Batman, and his family.... (front camera facing Jon) The reason I'm here is because Damian invited me over to do our homeworks together, in the Manor's Library.. So I'm on my wa--

Alfred: Good heavens Jonathan! (Sighed in relief) Please watch where you're going. You could've made me spill Master Bruce's tea all over my nice clean floor... (camera facing Alfred) Remove that camera from my face....

Jon: (camera facing the ground, only recording background audios) Sorry Alfred. (Laughing)

Alfred: (sigh) you young people with your gadgets, I'll never understand it... Anyways, you go on ahead to the Library... Master Damian's been expecting for you for almost an hour.

Jon: (front facing camera recorded) You heard him... Let's go! (Started flying) ..
Ok I'm here. (Camera facing the ground as he opens the library door) Hello? Dude? Where are-- oh nevermind, I see you. (Camera facing Damian who was asleep with his phone on his chest)

Jon: (whispering) Whoa.... Am I that late till he fell asleep? (Camera recording Damian's sleepy face) (sigh) awww, aren't you looking innocent when you're sleeping.... (giggling) uh,,,, dude??

Damian: (talking with his eyes closed) Turn off that camera, before I do it myself..... (eyes opened)

Jon: (shrugged and sigh) Alright then, this video has come to an end.. (video stopped)

[DAMIAN'S POV]

(Smiling) I remembered that day... I invited him over to finish out Geography assignment together.. It took him nearly two hours just to get over... God knows why... I ended up falling asleep while waiting for him... When he finally got over and I woke up, we began doing the assignment... that is until Alfred stepped in with a food trolley... He brought us plenty of junk food such as chips and sodas.. At first, we started by drinking the sodas while focusing on the assignment... but then minutes later, we ended up playing with our phones instead of completing our assignment.

(Giggled) When Mrs Zarina, our Geography teacher came in the next day, she became all medusa like on us.... more on Jon tho... I didn't care but he, certainly did. I know because his face was covered with guilt right after she finished lecturing us. (Sigh deeply)

I decided to watch the next video. It's duration was 1 minute 34 seconds so it should be ok.. I hit play.

[JON'S VIDEO]

Jon: (front camera facing Jon) WE'RE AT THE BEACH TODAY!!! Oooo yeah!!! (Standing next to Damian) Say hi dude!

Damian: (glaring at the camera)

Jon: (camera facing back to him) alright then Mr sour puss... So, while the adults set up the BBQ Picnic, D and I are going on a Sea Treasure Hunting.... It's where we try collect weird slash interesting looking things, around the beach.... I've asked the Bat Siblings if they would like to join in the Sea Treasure Hunting, but it looks like they've already plans with their surf boards and majestic waves... Damian on the other hand, chose to participate in my activity because no one else is in it but me... (whispering) isn't that sweet? (Laughing) So, it's just me and Damian!

Damian in the background: Ughhhh.... Can we get started already?! Don't make me change my mind.....

Jon: Alright I'm coming... (camera facing Jon) Welp, another video has come to an end.... (video ended)

[DAMIAN'S POV]

The video ended.. (chuckling) I don't know why does he have to take everything so seriously... I was only joking about the part where I said I would change my mind.... (sigh) Despite being covered with sand all over me, that day wasn't so bad... We've found many interesting things on the beach such as rusted jewelries, seashells, tiny live sea creatures, corals and so on. Jon mostly found live sea creatures...

The best part of that day was when we stopped to stare at the sunset. I remembered him asking me if I liked the sunset... I didn't admit it... On the outside, I just said "it's alright"... but on the inside, I said "it's beautiful"..

I pulled down the notification bar to check the time.. Its 4a.m.. (sigh) I guess I'll be staying up till the sun rise.... It's not like I can sleep anyways... I got out of the gallery and was about to shut his phone and put it away... till an app caught my eyes.. It's called, Journey.. I began studying the apps icon.. It was blue, with a decreasing size white rectangular shape in it.

Me: Maybe it's one of his games...

I tapped on it just to check. Turns out, it wasn't a game... it's like a Memo app, but with more features... It's a journal.

Me: He has a journal??

There were many entries, and each of them had dates and times on it. I tapped on the first one.

[JON TALKING IN HIS JOURNAL]

2nd November, 5:30p.m.
on my way back home...
Well, today has been great... but also, exhausting.. Our participant in the Day of the Dead festival at Mexico was really enjoyable. I got to walk around with a beautiful skull makeup on my face, got to eat all sorts of Mexican delicacies, and learn their traditions. But the best part was, I got to sing with my best friend... Damian finally came out of his shell and offered to play the guitar for us at the festival. The entire Bat family was there... everyone looking awesome with their colourful skull makeup, including Dami. We sang the song Un Poco Loco, from the movie Coco...

The song was soooo much fun to sing. Plus, I'm truly grateful to Zatanna for giving me a Spanish tongue to sing... I'm the only one there, who couldn't speak or sing proper Spanish... I only know hola and adiós...
The dia de los Muertos parade was beautiful.. Endless flower petals raining down, loud Mexican musics playing, people dancing and many, many, more. Damian never shared his experience in this festival... but judging from his wonderful singing voice and the constant smiling on his face, I assume he too, has had a good time...
