Teal clouds in azure sky;
the morning sun's red blush;
the golden butterfly,
behind the bushes plush.

Little feet
and little hands,
kind greets
and friendship bands.

Innocent smiles,
free laughter,
glittery eyes,
a new chapter.

The first day of school,
on little bikes.
The first day when everyone ruled-
no hatred, no dislikes.

A ray of sunshine.
and newfound joy.
Cries and whines
for pretty toys.
