Your POV

I ran my finger over the necklace Adam gave me. Today was the day that Adam said he would talk to James. He had me write a resume. I was sitting at my desk doing nothing. I had dropped Mason off at his daycare and then came to the bank. I hope James agrees to let me work there. I hate it here.

Adams POV

I just got done recording a video and now I was going to talk to James about y/n joining. I walked to his office with her resume and knocked on his door.

" Come in" he said. I turned the door knob. He looked up from his computer and said " Hey Adam"

" Hey James so I have a question" I said.

" Yeah?" he asked.

" So you know y/n right?" I started.

" Yeah she's a real nice girl" he said.

" Yeah she is. But uh I was wondering if she could work here with us. She's real good with numbers and financial things. She works at a bank right now but she hates it. And here I brought her resume" I said handing him the paper.

He looked at the paper and said " Adam we already have someone who handles financials"

" Well what could she do then?" I asked.

" Adam-" he started.

" James please. She has been there for me and now I want to be there for her. Please she hates her job and it reminds her of her ex fiancé" I said. I didn't know if the last part was true but I might help.

He sighed " I'm Taylor could use some help with financials" ( it is Taylor who does financials right?"

I smiled and said " Thank you James she'll be so happy. When should she start?"

" In a week" he said.

" Thank you. I'm gonna go tell her" I said walking out and back to my office. I grabbed my phone and called her on her work phone.

" Hello this is Chase bank Y/n speaking how may I help you?" she said on the other line.

" Uh yes his y/n this is Adam" I said.

" Adam what are you doing? And you know I have a phone right. A cell phone" she said laughing.

I leaned back in my chair and said " So I got good news"

" Did James say I could work there?" I asked.

" Yeah he did. He said you could start in one week and you'll be helping Taylor with financials" I said.

" Oh my goodness thank you so much Adam. I'll tell my boss I quit after my shift ends. I'll see you when I get home. Or when you get home. Who ever gets home first" she said.

I laughed " Yeah see you at home"

" Bye and thank again" she said.

" No problem, bye" I said. She hung up the phone and I put mine back in its place.

I really hope she likes it here. Things will be a lot more fun with her here.
