Lockdown POV

I search for the human, but I can't find her anywhere. She can't escape me, I'm trained at finding anyone on the run. In fact, I had put a tracking device on her backpack so I could find her if she didn't show up.

But why can't I find her now? She couldn't have possibly gotten past me, I would have noticed her if she did. I'm getting closer to the humans location. Nice try, girl. I look up but don't see her.

But I see her backpack. She must have known I was tracking her! She's smarter than she looks. She would make a fine bounty hunter, but she won't do it. I walk towards the exit, my holoform disintegrates into thin air, and I drive back to my ship. I will find this human and bring her back to my ship.

She has the ability to survive being shot without injuries. There's a strange energy emanating from her, and I'm very curious as to what it is. But as arrogant and annoying as she is, she made some decent company.

I may prefer working alone, but I enjoy some company every once in a while. She may be a child, but she's a clever one. But being clever won't help her for much longer.

Sky POV

I can't believe that I just escaped Lockdown! My plan worked! We arrive at Tessa's house. I don't see Cade anywhere, he must be in the barn. I jump out, this place is much nicer in person.

"My Dads probably in the barn, let's go see him." Tessa starts walking towards the barn, and I follow her in. We walk in and find Cade fixing something, hell knows what. I look around for Optimus, he wasn't there. Cade looks up and sees us.

"Hey Tess, who's this?" Cade asked.
"I'm Sky, a friend of Tessa's." I said. Cade stands up and walks towards me.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Cade Yeager." He shakes my hand.
"Dad, is it okay if she stays with us?" Tessa asks. Cade thinks about it,

"For the night?" He asks.
"Dad, she was kidnapped and she needs a place to hide. Can she stay with us, pleeeeaaaasssseeee???" Tessa looked at her father with puppy dog eyes. Hey! She's copying me! Cade sighs,

"Fine, she can stay with us." He says. The puppy dog eyes do it again! Tessa seemed excited, she was never like this in the movie. She had a teenage attitude.

"Thank you Mr. Yeager, I owe you one." I say happily. Tessa grabbed my hand and took me to the house. Wow, I never got a good enough view of the house in the movie. You got a few shots here and there, but nothing like this. A large kitchen, nice sized living room.

She took me upstairs into a big room. I thought they were broke, I guess not.
"This is the guests room. Well, not anymore. Now it's your room." Tessa said. I see a twin bed, a window, and a closet.
"Make yourself at home, dinner will be ready in a few hours." Tessa walked out, leaving me by myself in my new room.

I throw my backpack on the bed and I lay down. So much better than the beanbag chair I slept on. This isn't going to be a permanent live in, I'm gonna have to go home eventually. I close my eyes and drift into my dreams.

Time skip - 3 hours

I woke up to Tessa shaking me.
"Sky, time for dinner. Man you must be tired." She said. I slowly open my eyes and yawn.
"Yeah... I am. I haven't really been sleeping well for some reason. What's for dinner?" I ask.

"My Dads world famous Hot dogs." My eyes widen. I LOVE hot dogs. I spring up.
"That sounds great, I'm coming down now." I follow Tessa down the stairs to see Cade putting hot dogs in buns.
"Who wants what on their hot dog?" He asks without even looking at us.
"Relish and mustard!" Tessa hollered.
"Sky? What would you like?" This time actually facing me.
"Ketchup please." I normally like my hot dogs plain, but I like ketchup every once in a while. He hands is our hot dogs and we sit down at the table, Cade joins us a minute later.

"So Sky, where are you from?" Cade asked.
"I'm from Maryland, it's really nice up there." I bite into my hot dog. But before I came here, it was winter! Now it's summer!

"Maryland? That's on the East coast, ain't it?" Tessa asks, and I nod.
"Then how did you get here in Texas?" Cade asks. It's like playing a game of twenty questions.

"First, I was kidnapped, the next thing I knew I was here." That was kinda the truth. Cade stared at me with such wide eyes.

"I'm sorry, I won't talk about it anymore." Cade apologized.
"Hey, you guys saved my life. I thank you for that." I try to make them feel better. They nod and smile.

"I have a surprise coming tomorrow morning, you'll never believe what I found." Said Cade. I try my best not to gasp. I know exactly what he's talking about, no, who he was talking about.

I'm trying to update often because I'm getting really busy with my final exams, that's why a chapter's getting put up every day. Just so ya know!
