Chapter 8: A Girl's Day Out Or Is It?
Sarika accompanied the girls for shopping just after the breakfast. They had to shop for a hell lot of stuff so they were in car and Sahana was driving. But everybody knows about the traffic of Delhi. Sahana's knuckles turned white as she pressed her hand hard on the steering wheel. After half an hour they reached the shop and all the girls spilled out of the car.
They were at Tanishq for jewelries.
"Saha... Jewelries will be choosed by you for all the functions. You should have more idea considering you are a jewelry designer." Sanaya called out to Sahana who nodded.
They entered and went to the bridal section. There were a lot of jewelries that Sahana had designed. She decided on some sets and bought a simple pendant for herself.
After this they went to the shop for sarees and lehenga stuff.
"Saha.... You are also going to wear a saree in my wedding."
"No Sannu. I won't be comfort...." She retorted but the look at Sanaya's face made her silent.
"Alright choose one for me too." She frowned as Sanaya and Sarika high fived each other.
After shopping they went to the hotel for some rest. Sahana was in her room sorting out things when Sarika barged into her room with another lady of her age.
"Saha.... This is my friend... Best friend... Devi!" Sarika introduced Devika to her.
Sahana bent down to touch her feet as a mark of respect and she hugged her.
"Saru... She is your carbon copy. You too have same eyes. She is very beautiful." Sahana blushed as Devika praised her.
"Rishi is also a good guy. He helps everybody a lot." Sarika praised Rishi and Sahana rolled her eyes.
Seriously, that monkey doesn't deserves this much appreciation.
After some time they got ready for the bachelorette party tonight.
Sahana, Sanaya and some other cousins were going for a club party. Of course Sahana was the designated driver as she was the only non drinker in the group. All sat in the open car and zoomed to the venue.
Dekh tera rang saawla...
Hua bawla.
Ladki nahi hai tu hai garam mamla.
Bolti band meri kahun Kya bhala. kuch bhi kaha na jae.
Nache tu Dilli, Hile hai London.
Matak matak jaise Raveena Tondon.
Aage lagane aai hai banthan
Goli chal gayi dhaayn.
Arry ladki beautiful kar gayi chull....
All girls were singing in their deafening voice as Sahana smiled.
Soon they reached the club and entered. Others went to the dance floor while Sahana sat on the bar stool looking at them.
Dilli Wali Girlfriend started playing and Sanaya dragged Sahana to the dance floor.
"Chal... Naach Basanti." She yelled, a little tipsy and Sahana started dancing with others. She didn't notice when Sanaya slipped out of the crowd and slowly took out her phone.
"Hello Saral...!"
It was half an hour and Sahana was back on her place on the bar stool when she saw Saral coming in along with Rishi and others.
What the...? Why are they here?
Saral joined Sanaya on the floor and Rishi sat next to Sahana.
"Hi Sahana!" She looked at him and nodded.
"How come you guys are here?"
"How can we leave such a hot stuff without any bodyguard." He smirked and Sahana rolled her eyes.
She opened her lips to counter on Rishi when a commotion was heard.
"What happened?" She ran to her teenager cousin who had tears in her eyes.
"Di... He... He touched me. In a bad way."
At this Sahana's eyes blazed with anger. She went towards the guy who was smirking clearly drunk and slapped him hard on his face. Before others could react the friend of that guy circled around Sahana.
"Do you even know who his father is?" One of them asked Sahana.
"Why doesn't he knows who his father is?" Sahana shot back.
"You... How dare you? Pick her up and put her in the car. Let's take her to our space and we will talk to her there. She needs to be taught a lesson." One of them moved towards Sahana and she stepped back thinking of her next move.
Before he could reach her he was punched right in his face. Sahana looked up... Rishi... He was protecting her!
Soon Saral and other guys took over and beat everybody. Rishi stood directly in front of Sahana.
"No need to thank me. It was my duty. Let's go damsels in distress."
Rishi showed off in front of her but her alert eyes caught the movement behind him. She picked up a beer bottle ready to attack and Rishi's eyes widened.
"Sahana I will get gravely injured by this beer bottle. I was kidding. You are no damsel in distress. Please keep it down."
Everything happened in a moment as she pushed Rishi aside and hit a man on his head with the bottle.
"Clank" sound was followed by an "Aah" as the man fell on the floor with blood spilling out. The whole room was silent as they registered what just took place. This man had a knife in his hand and he was here to hurt Rishi. But Sahana had saved him.
Rishi was still shocked.
She saved me from getting hurt... maybe even killed and I... I am such a dumbass.... I thought that Sahana was going to hit me with the bottle.
He looked at Sahana with appreciation in his eyes.
His hero....!!!!!
Sahana still had the jagged piece of glass in her hand.
"Now if any scoundrel comes near me... Or any of us. I swear to God that I will kill them. Just leave this place before anything happens. Take this guy with you." Sahana shouted and everybody left.
Only Sahana, other girls, Saral, Rishi and other boys were left along with the staff.
"Waiter, a round of drinks for everybody and a Coke for me." She called out to the waiter as she sat on the couch. All cheered with vodkas in their hand.
"To Sahana!!"
"To Sahana!!" Everybody repeated after Sanaya.
Rishi approached Sahana, "You didn't order a drink for yourself?"
"I don't drink."
"Why?"
"Because after drinking a person starts thinking with his heart instead of his mind and that is ridiculous." This was little hard for Rishi so he changed the topic breaking the eye contact.
"By the way, thanks... For saving me there."
"You don't need to thank me for that. I just returned your favor and now we are even." She smiled at him.
Rishi was not used to of this type of reaction. Usually girls used to drool over him but Sahana was different.
"I think we should leave." Saral announced as he slowly handed a passed out Sanaya to Sahana. Later she forced the girls out and drove to the hotel.
Rishi was along with Saral.
"What are you thinking, Rishi?"
"Sahana... She is very different!"
"You like her?"
"I don't know.... Maybe... But she is not my type." Rishi answered as they pulled up at the hotel.
"What is your type?" Saral re-questioned.
"I don't know." Rishi was puzzled and confused.
"Close your eyes and think about it. You will get your answers." Saral said and Rishi went to his room.
Changing his clothes he laid on his bed and closed his eyes, "What is my type?"
Only one face came in front of his eyes, Sahana!!!
