Sanaya jumped on the bed on which Sahana was sleeping and shook her vigorously.

"Wake up Kumbhkaran (a fictional character in Ramayana who used to sleep for 6 months.)... Sleeping since yesterday. Get up fatso!!!"

The last word caught Sahana's attention and she opened her eyes.

"Fatso... Who is fatso? Can't you see I have lost alot of my weight!!!"

Sanaya laughed hearing her answer.

"Ok... Then I guess I will call you ex-fatso! What say??"

At this Sahana threw a pillow at her.

"Shut up Sannu! Go away. I want to sleep. I was dreaming but you disturbed me. Get lost."

She turned to sleep but Sanaya forcefully made her sit.

"Come on... We have to go for shopping today... Then girls night out tonight!!!! Yay!!!!"

Sahana rubbed her eyes and then looked at Sanaya.

"Shopping and party are a big no from my side.... Yay!!!!"

"But why???" Sanaya whined.

"Because there is too much crowd, too much chaos. I hate chaos and I love sleep. So you guys carry on with shopping and I will continue sleeping."

Sanaya rolled her eyes at this.

"You are no fun Saha. Come on.... There will be drinks in the party. And none of the elders to disturb us." She said in a whisper as if scared of anybody hearing it.

"I don't drink and you know that." Sahana stated this as a matter of fact and Sanaya looked at her in disbelief.

"Dude... You were in America. Then too??? Party is life there."

"How is my not drinking is anyhow related to me living in America... You have gone dumb. Don't be with Saral. I am warning you." Sahana said and laughed as Sanaya glared at her.

"Ok alright. You go on disturbing people from sleep and I will come downstairs after getting ready..... Tell me one thing. Will Rishi be there too? I mean I won't come across him for the whole day right? I have had enough of him to last me my lifetime!" 

Sanaya chuckled hearing this.

"Nope. He won't be there. But don't think so much about him or you will fall in love with him." She sent Sahana a wink who glared at her.

"Sannu you have two minutes. Run for your life and don't come across me for the whole day. Because if I caught you..."

Before Sahana could complete her sentence Sanaya ran out of the room as Sahana laughed and closed the door.

After half an hour she came out of the room in a jeans and t-shirt knotted a little just below her navel.

"Saha.... Breakfast will be at Saral's side. Come soon." Sarika said to Sahana and went away.

The thought of being with Rishi brought a scowl at her face but covering it up she followed her mother.

As she entered the dining hall she heard Saral, Sanaya and the douchebag oh sorry Rishi laughing. Sanaya had a photo album open on her lap and she was telling the guys about a picture... A picture of Sahana when she used to be fat.... No!!!!!

Sahana's eyes widened in terror but nobody had noticed her yet.

"Bhabhi... Who is this girl in this picture?" He pointed to the same picture as Sanaya laughed, "Try to guess. I hope you would recognise her."

Rishi looked closely and Sahana prayed inwardly that he couldn't recognise her.

"Is it your sister.... Sahana?" With this Sahana's last hope was shattered.

"Sannu... You... Why? Why would you do that? Why are you making a fool of mine in front of them?" Sahana looked as if she could cry any moment and Rishi looked amused.

"You were too cute.... I mean you looked cute in this picture." Rishi told Sahana who rolled her eyes while Sanaya laughed.

"Had I known that Sahana would look so beautiful after growing up... Sanaya sorry but I would have married Sahana only." Saral winked at Sanaya who rolled her eyes while Sahana laughed.

Soon they were called to eat breakfast by Sarika. As they were heading to the table Rishi's phone rang and he stopped on his way.

"Hello ma... How are you? Is Mr. Malhotra's meeting over? When are you guys arriving?"

There was some silence as Devika replied to Rishi.

"Mrs. Devika Malhotra! Promise me that you will be here by tomorrow evening."

After some more chatting Rishi smiled and hung up. He didn't notice that Sarika had heard him.

"Rishi, can I ask you something?"

"Sure aunty!!!"

"Are you the son of Devika Singh... Who was married to Sashi Malhotra?"

"Yes aunty... But how did you...??" Rishi asked quite surprised.

"Devi was my best friend from college. But we didn't had any contact after her marriage. Is she coming?" Sarika said with a small smile playing on her lips.

"Yes aunty. Ma talks about you sometime. She will be here tomorrow evening with Mr. Mal... I mean with Papa." This last word felt foreign on Rishi's lips. He had not called him his father since that incident.

Sahana saw them talking intently so she approached them.

"What is it mum?"

"Saha... I told you about my best friend from college.. Devi... She is Rishi's mother and she will be here tomorrow evening. I am so happy."

"What..??? Wow ma!" Sahana was genuinely happy for her mother but her best friend is Rishi's mother... Why???

She looked a little flushed. Rishi noticed the frown on her face.

"Is there something wrong?"

Sahana shrugged,"No... Saral what is your plan today?"

"Nothing much. I am sleeping today. Rishi has a spa appointment so yeah pretty much rest."

Sahana sighed.... At least Rishi won't disturb them.

"Sahana why don't you refer to Saral as jeeju. (sister's husband)" Rishi asked her.

Talk of the devil and....

"Me, Sannu and Saral were in the same school. Since then I have acknowledged him as Saral so... In my defense I didn't know that they will get married. Had I known I would have never let Saral near Sanaya."

At this everybody at the table chuckled and hugged in their food.
