(Haru Pov)

I woke up feeling pain. I looked around the room I was in. I didn't know where I was. "Where the fuck am I?" I muttered. "What the heck happened?" I tried remembering what happened before.

I suddenly heard the door open. I looked at that direction.

"Ara, Ara! You're awake!" That person was a black-purple haired lady. She had a butterfly haori.

"Wh-where am I?" I asked, quietly. "You're in the butterfly mansion! Shinazugawa San found you heavily injured. So he brought you here!" She explained. "Oh, I see.." I answered.

"I brought some more bandages. I will change it, ok?" She informed. "Oh.."

She started changing the bandages.

"Thank you..uh.."  "Shinobu kocho." She answered. "Oh then thank you Kocho San." I said. "It's nothing." She responded.

"What's your name, little girl?" She asked. "Haru Nikkó." I answered. "Beautiful name!"  "Thank you."

"Nikkó chan, the master wishes to see you." She explained. "The master?" I asked. "Yes!" She answered.

"Kocho San."  "Please call me Shinobu."  "Then Shinobu San, what is he the master of?" I asked. "Good question. He's the master of the demon slayer corps!" Shinobu explained. 

"What's that?" I asked, again. "The demon slayer corps, is an organization unrecognized by the government. But it existed long time ago. We kill demons." She explained, yet again.

"That sounds cool!" I commented. Shinobu smiled and nodded. "When you meet the master, you need to be polite, ok?" Shinobu said. "Ok." I replied.

I got up and got ready to meet the 'master'. Shinobu helped me. "Thank you for helping me, Shinobu San." I said. "It's nothing." She responded.

"Ne, Shinobu San."  "Hmm?"  "How long was I out?"  "Hmm, for about half a year?"  "Okay- wait, HALF A YEAR??" I yelled. "Yes." She answered.

"And your probably going to stay here for the rest of this year." She explained. "Oh- that sucks."

I was wearing a plain pink kimono that Shinobu gave me. I would be wearing it. At least for a while. My injuries didn't heal much so I couldn't really move.

"We're here." Shinobu whispered. I snapped out of my daydream and looked forward. I saw a bunch of people. They all looked.. different.

"Ah, Kocho. Is this the kid that Shinazugawa brought?" The blond haired man asked. "Yes, it is." Shinobu answered. 

"She doesn't look much flamboyant, but it'll do." The silver haired man said.

"She looks sick." The boy with black-cyan hair said. He looked young.

"She looks so cute! How pretty!" The pink haired girl said.

"..." The black haired man stared at me but didn't say anything.

"She looks weird. Why did the master call her?" The man with a snake insulted me.

"Tch, she looks nothing different than before. She still looks weak." The scar man insulted me too!

"Don't say that. I shall pray for her health." The crying man said.

"Who..are..they?" I asked. "They are the Hashiras. The hashiras, including me are the highest rank in the demon slayer corps." Shinobu explained.

"The master has arrived." The two creepy twins said. All of the Hashiras bowed down. Shinobu helped me bow down.

"Hello everyone. The weather is quite nice today. I wonder if the sky is blue."  "Greetings, master. We all hope for your safety." The man in scars said. "Thank you, Sanemi." 

'So his name is Sanemi.' I noted. "Before the Hashira meeting begins, I would like to meet the girl that Sanemi brought here." The master asked.

" So, hello child. What is your name?"  " Haru Nikkó." I answered. " What about your age? I'm assuming 10-12." He asked. " I'm 11, I think." I responded.

"So, Haru. Would you like to become a demon slayer?" He asked. "Uh.. sure?" I said. "Then, you will become Shinazugawa's tsugoku. He's the one that brought you after all." He explained.

" Oh, ok." I said. " Shinobu, you'll be dismissed for a minute." Master commanded. " Yes."

Shinobu brought me back to the butterfly mansion quickly and asked a girl named Kanao to take care of me.

Kanao wasn't really talkative but so am I. She was quite nice. She decided things by flipping a coin. I didn't really like the idea but she didn't mind it so-

I had to drink medicine every 3 hours. I really don't like medicine but I had to drink every cup. It felt so gross, god!

I did want to help with some stuff but I knew I couldn't. Not just because of my state, but also, I didn't know how to do chores. Oof-

I usually just sleep all the time except for when I eat medicine. A girl named Aoi suggested that I should work out a little.

I try doing simple exercises such as: push ups, handstand, cartwheel, sit ups...

Every day, I feel better and better. Most of my injuries were fully healed. I still had to wait to completely heal.

After another month, I mastered push ups, sit ups, handstands, cartwheels, you name it!

"You're almost fully healed! After 2 months, I'll send you to Shinazugawa San, ok?" Shinobu said. "Ok! Thanks Shinobu!" I said.

Shinobu allowed me to call her just Shinobu.

'I feel very refreshed. I'm way more healthy than before! The poison's almost out!' I thought, cheerfully. I did feel fresh.

One day, Kanao visited me.

"Oh, hi Tsuyuri! You visited me, nice!" I greeted her. "Nikkó chan." Kanao said.

"Ahh, please call me Haru." I said. "Then.. Haru chan. Please tell me about that time when you fought that demon." Kanao asked. "Ehh?" 

" Uhm ok." I said all the details of the fight.(I'm too lazy-)

"I see.." Kanao said, before going outside the room.

'Why did she ask me that? Did her coin say that?' I wondered. I laid back down and slept.

Thankfully, Aoi chan gave me papers and pen to draw. Otherwise I would be dead from boredom. I drew Shinobu, Aoi and Kanao on three different papers.

"Shinobu, how do you think of this?" I asked, showing Shinobu my drawing of her. "It's wonderful! Thank you Haru!" She said.

" What do you think, Aoi chan?"  " It's good. Thanks.." "It's nothing!"

"Kanao? Do you like it?" I asked, with hope she won't toss her coin.

"..." She didn't say anything. She slowly nodded with a smile. "Thanks Kanao!" I yelled. I was glad she didn't toss her coin.

I was quite talented with drawing. My friends always praised me for it. That was the one thing I was good at. I love drawing~

One week later, I started to help out a little. I cleaned up the mansion. 

I started going outside more often. I sometimes went shopping with Kanao or Aoi! It was a nice experience. Kanao gave me a pretty necklace!

I was given permission to buy some things under a budget. The budget wasn't too bad. I bought decorations and gifts for the butterfly girls!

I learned cooking from Aoi. I sometimes help her out.

I also learned simple first aid. It wasn't simple, but I learned it in my free time.

I helped some of the patients.

It was getting quite boring since there was nothing more I could learn. I wanted to learn how to be a demon slayer. It sounded interesting.

I wondered who this 'Shinazugawa' was. I hoped it isn't that Sanemi. He seemed grumpy.

(Time skip)

"Haru, are you in there?" I heard Shinobu as I stretched my body. "Yes?" 

Shinobu went inside my room. "Haru, I have good news for you!" She said, cheerfully. "Oh, really? Am I finally healed?" I asked. "Actually yes!" 

" Yay! Finally!!" I screamed. " Haru. Please don't make much noise here." Shinobu ordered. " Yeah... Of course." I said, threatened.

I got all dressed up in my og kimono(turquoise kimono with cactus designs on it) and followed Shinobu. 'i wonder who it is.' I thought.

"We're here, Haru!" Shinobu said. "Hello Shinazugawa San!" I looked ahead of me and saw...
