(note: if you have had bad experience with losing a family member due to them getting shot please don't read this this will shed light on Kenzie's past and biological family! As well has mentions of blood if you don't feel comfortable with that don't read this chapter Now to the chappie!)

~meanwhile with Kenzie~

Kenzie: Boulder in order to understand what mine and Macy's world is like you should know a few things....

Boulder: take all the time you need to help me understand

Kenzie: okay....

Kenzie: but first let me tell you a little story....

Kenzie: Once upon a time three races ruled over the our earth Humans, Monsters, and Hybrids.....

Kenzie: the Hybrid race went extinct leaving the Human and Monster race left....

Kenzie: these two races lived in peace and Harmony for decades....

Kenzie: but....one fateful day came war broke out between the two after a very long and violent battle the Humans won and sealed the Monsters underground with a magic barrier that can only be broken with seven Human souls one of each trait....

Boulder: a Human soul??

Kenzie: ah! Sorry there's different types of souls for Humans there's 7 different soul colours these are called soul traits each a different one soul could be purple while someone else's could be blue these soul traits are the very culmination of their being it's why it's called a soul....

Boulder: oh I see

Kenzie: now back to the story...one of the humans who was a mage of determination and my grandmother her name was Cassie Williams....or as she's more famously known....as the strongest mage in history she was a great person inside and out.....

Boulder: why did this war start?

Kenzie: the Humans believed that a monster killed a Human child while the Monsters believed a Human killed a Monster child Boulder....but nobody knew if it was a lie.....everyone didn't wait to get the full story and forgot the most important lesson....listen to both sides of the story....

Boulder: that is a very important lesson Kenzie you can continue with the story

Kenzie: okay....after the war ended and the Monsters were sealed underground Cassie asked if the Monster village near the mountain could stay....as a historic place everyone agreed thinking it was a place filled with history of both villages Human and Monster.....

Kenzie: years passed and everyone started to lose their magic everyone except my family....my grandmother Cassie Williams passed down her incredible magic to my mother and then to me....back then if someone was born with more than one trait the strongest trait would take over but...I was born with all seven traits and it stayed that way permanently....

Boulder: what is the trait called?

Kenzie: leadership.....

Boulder: I see you can continue with the story

Kenzie: as years went on my soul trait stayed the same then...one day a man came with a white coat on and my father was yelling at him my mother told me to pack a bag and run into the woods near the mountain and never look back.....

Kenzie: so I did I ran as fast as I could then I hid behind a tree and looked back and I saw my parents on the ground and a man holding a gun pointed it at them and....and pulled the trigger....I'll never forget the scream my mother let out when my father got shot.....

Kenzie: *starts to shake a little* when I heard her screaming bloody murder I ran away to the mountain top instead of the forest because I was so scared when I looked behind me I saw the same man chasing after me when I reached a cave I was backing away slowly I didn't even see a deep pit that lead to the underground behind me.....

Kenzie: I had a choice to make ether go with the people who killed my parents or risk getting hurt by a fall into wherever the hole lead....

Kenzie: I took another step backwards and lost my footing and fell into the hole the fall was deep then....I hit the ground hard head first as well....

Kenzie: I had little strength in me but I called out for help and my call was heard a Monster found me nearly dead only hanging on a tread to stay alive and he...he gave up his soul to save me he gave up his own life to help me live the rest of mine.....when I absorbed his soul my vision went black I thought I was dead....and in limbo....

Boulder: but you weren't if you were you wouldn't be here correct?

Kenzie: you'd be correct Boulder I didn't feel like I was dead or even dying I was only unconscious yet I was still able to feel and hear things I couldn't see or move then I heard two voices back then I didn't know they were Chara and Asriel looking for the Monster who saved me....

Kenzie: when they saw me on the ground bleeding from the head they called Toriel dreemurr my adoptive mother and they took me to their home and cared for me as if I was their own child....

Boulder: wow that is a lot to take in....

Kenzie: yeah it is Boulder I'm not ready to tell them this can we keep it between us..?

Boulder: of course we can

Kenzie: thank you Boulder

~meanwhile with Macy and Star!~

Macy(me): *heard everything*

Star: *the same* no wonder she never told us...

Macy(me): yeah...we should go to Blossom and the others right?

Star: *nods*
