Chapter 24.

Predaking and I had returned to Avengers headquarters, him carrying Lockdown in his talons. Skylynx and Darksteel were already outside and wrestling with one another in beast form, they noticed us as we landed in front of the building.

"I win!" I said.

Predaking dropped the grey mech and transformed, "I allowed you to."

"Mhm, okay." I say sarcastically.

Darksteel and Skylynx transform and come towards us, their optics kept on Lockdown as he got to his feet.

"Who is this?" Skylynx asks.

"Someone who just attempted to kill me, again. You two can assist Predaking in doing whatever to him, preferably something painful. God knows he deserves it for killing 5 people, probably way more than that." I snarled.

"It is what I am assigned to do." The grey mech said.

My ears perked, "Assigned to take away lives that never would've interfered with yours whatsoever?"

"I accomplish much more than what you think, human." He spat.

Skylynx and Darksteel hissed and took a threatening step towards him, but he didn't flinch.

"I wouldn't think you were lying. You three can do whatever you want to him now, and make it hurt." I grinned and turned away.

"It would be rather unwise for them to rip me apart." Lockdown chuckled.

I turn my head, "Give me one good reason why we shouldn't."

"Perhaps the fact that the room your family is fitted with systems that will release toxic fumes into the air around them, killing them within mere minutes." He crossed his arms.

"WHAT?! You mother-" I stopped.

Can't let that word slip out in front of the Predacons, they don't need to hear that word from me. Maybe someone else, but not me. My family is trapped in a room where Toxic fumes are an deadly threat to their health! But that assured me of one thing, my family is alive. But he could also be trying to deceive me, knowing him.

"You're lying." I growl.

"Am I?" The grey mech grinned.

Okay Empath and intuitive powers of mine, is he lying?

"If you had a prisoner in your base, it would more than likely be Cybertronian. We Cybertronians don't necessarily breathe, so what would be the point of having tanks of toxic gas? So YES, I strongly believe you are trying to deceive me." I cross my arms as well.

The Predacons look at me, rather surprised to hear that answer come out of me. I really like to take online detective riddles to test my intelligence just for giggles and hahas, and most of them to me are pretty easy to figure out. But some will make you rack your brain, which made it more enjoyable. Lockdown then applauded slowly.

"Quite impressive, you are correct." He said.

"Good, now you three can tear him apart." I turn to leave again.

I was working on STAR a little more to hopefully work out the bugs. While working many loud clangs and hard metal on metal clashing outside were, which made me think the Predacons were reigning victorious. I grin at the thought of it.

"Youngling." The shadow of Primus appeared behind the computer monitor.

"Primus, I'm working out the bugs with STAR right now so we can possibly leave tomorrow or the day after. Is this important?" I ask, kind of annoyed.

"Quite. I've noticed that your behavior has been becoming rather abnormal." He said worriedly and came around the desk.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"You've been unlike yourself. You gave Lockdown to your Predacon friends to rip apart, and you felt pleasure at the mere thought of it. You would never have done that, not even the souls you possess would." Primus said.

He...actually was right. Why was I so cruel towards Lockdown? Sure, he murdered 5 humans. So did Springtrap! But Springtrap wants to atone for his mistakes, unlike Lockdown. But I could've at least asked properly what his reason was for killing other than his assignments, as I feel that there is more to it. What is WRONG with me?! Primus gently took my hand that Unicron had grabbed, looking very thoroughly at my fleshy forearm.

"This is what I feared..." He sounded rather worried.

"What is it??" I asked.

"Unicron left a physical imprint of Dark Energon on you, and as I feared it is starting to corrupt you like it did Quintessa." Primus let go of my hand.

OH NO. I'll become like Quintessa! The Bad Quintessa! I grasped my wrist with the supposed imprint.

"What?! You mean I'll become like Quintessa?!" I was panicked.

Primus looked at me, "Fortunately, it is in an early enough stage to reverse said effects."

I sighed of relief.

"So what do you need in order to reverse the effects?" I ask.

"The gems, as they are a part of me. They are the reason as to why I am able to physically touch you." Primus said.

I nodded and removed the gems from their places in my skin, small trickles of Energon came out as they were deeply embedded into my flesh. I give them to Primus, he takes them in one hand and takes my arm once again. He held the gems on my skin as they began to glow, my eyes widen slightly as that area of my arm was starting to glow a dim purple. The shadow was focused intently on what he was doing.

The dim purple glow spread up my arm to my shoulder, then down to my heart. Unicron certainly did his minimal damage to me, but thankfully Primus caught it early. In your FACE Unicron! Whatever bayverse Unicron looks like, already know what TFP Unicron looks like. Primus continued to reverse the effects.

"So have you made a decision?" He asks.

"What are you talking about?" I raise an eyebrow.

"To your Predacon friend, the one who asked you to be his Queen." He said.

"Oh that...I uh, I don't really know yet.." I say shyly.

Primus lifts his head to look at me.

"You would be a lovely Queen." He said as he went back to what he was doing.

I smiled a little as I used my free hand to continue working on STAR.
