Chapter 2.

I cannot BELIEVE this, Blue had saved the gems. That was an incredibly bold move on her part, I lean down despite the excruciating pain and take them into my only hand. I smiled as my jaw had dropped and I looked at her, she looked back to me with a blank expression.
"Blue, you are FRICKING AMAZING!" I said excitedly.
"The Infinity stones..?" The purple guy sitting by the fire cooking asked.
I looked to him, "Ehhh, no. These are different, but they actually look pretty damn similar to your Infinity stones."
Blue nodded her head.
He hummed as he was cooking the steaks, I glanced at the Infinity Gauntlet upon his arm as all the Infinity stones bedazzled it. I know very well that this is Thanos from the Marvel Universe, and that we must be upon the planet he teleported to after he had succeeded in wiping out half of all life. All with the snap of his fingers. HOLD UP WAIT.
Primus said that with my gems, I could wipe out ALL life if I wanted to. Oh Thanooos...I think my gems are better than your little stones. Not to mention mine have different properties. Okay the orange gem is similar to the Reality Stone, but they're not exactly the same. Every other gem is pretty different than his precious stones.
I think it is obvious that I'm not fond of him. But Thanos hasn't treated me or Blue poorly so far, so I don't really have anything to go off of. He also did put these strange glowing bandages on me, both my torso and my arm stump. So he is good, in a way. Thanos had finished with cooking the meat and placed them onto small wooden slabs, probably meant as plates, and poured something that was boiling over a fire into 2 bowls. I sat the gems next to me.
Blue stepped aside as Thanos brought a bowl and one of the steaks towards me. I put my feet on the floor and grunted as pain shot throughout my torso, thank you Lockdown for that. He placed the food onto a flat little table in front of me, as well as carved wooden utensils. I don't know what's in the bowl, but it smells so good. Especially the meat which he had already graciously cut for me, since I can't really do so without my other arm.
My mouth is watering, I haven't eaten anything but granola bars for the past week or two. I picked up the fork in my left clawed hand, it was surprisingly easy. I then jabbed a piece of the meat and took a taste, the flavor was amazing. Even better than what my father makes on the grill back home. He even made it really rare in the middle unlike my dad, who likes his more done. I LOVE my steaks rare.
Alright Thanos, I'll admit you're a good cook. That's a pretty cool thing, but that doesn't change the fact that you dusted trillions.
"Thank you." I say.
"You are welcome, my child." He said as he began to eat as well.
Okay that was something that weirded me out in Infinity War. Calling someone "my child". Actually, that just weirds me out coming from anyone. Not just Thanos. Blue had begun eating from an animal she must've caught, judging by the bite marks on its neck.
"I never caught your name." Thanos said.
"It's Springlock." I said while taking another bite of meat.
"That is a very nice name. Allow me to introduce myself as Thanos." He said.
Yep. Thanos. His voices reminds me of President Snow from The Hunger Games movies. I chewed the meat with my new sharp teeth, slicing through it with ease. I swallowed the piece of steak and sighed.
"Yes, I know. You wiped out half of all life simply by snapping your fingers." I said solemnly.
Thanos lifted his head, looking me in the eye. He wasn't expecting that to come out of my mouth, I'm certain.
"I need to ask, why did you do it..." I look at him sadly.
Thanos sighed heavily, but before he could speak I interrupted.
"There were so many of those trillions you dusted who were innocent, those who didn't deserve that." My tone sounded hurt.
"It was a small price to pay. If life is left unchecked, it will cease to exist. I only corrected and prevented potential extinction. Everything is at peace." He said calmly.
I sighed and put the wooden fork down, "Half of me completely understands what you mean, but the other half says it makes no sense whatsoever."
This surprised Thanos as he reared his head back slightly. I won't lie, it's true that I think this. He was just seeking peace throughout the galaxy, and I can understand that. But the way he executed his action was wrong.
"I would love the galaxy to be at peace too, but...the way you did it wasn't right. Turning trillions of good and bad people to dust. Now now, if you dusted all of the bad ones. You know, murderers, kidnappers, rapists, pedophiles, tyrants, dictators, I'd be totally on board. Hell, that would probably be 50 percent by itself, maybe slightly less. But that would bring peace too, no evil would exist." I explained calmly.
Thanos listened to what I was saying, at least we're both being adults about this and calmly conversing.
"But Thanos, you tore families apart. Men, women, children...You know how hard it is to lose those close to you." I say.
Thanos looked almost mortified by it, the memory of him throwing his daughter Gamora being into that pit on the planet Vorhmir just to gain the soul stone. I think that's how it's spelled anyway. A stray tear rolled from his eye, he certainly is recollecting that memory. The overwhelming feeling of sadness coming from Thanos was almost unbearable, I could feel his pain as my own.
"I know how it feels, so does Blue. I've lost those close to me as well, they were taken by those who I am hellbent to defeat. That feeling of loss, that's what those who survived your mass genocide felt and feel right now. Losing those they care about. The pain you feel is the same as theirs. You've inflicted much pain, grief, and loss." I say.
Thanos wiped the tear away, only for more to flow.
"You do have a heart, because you wouldn't be feeling how you are right now if you didn't. Maybe what you need, is a friend." I say kindly.
