Chapter 18.

I had been working on a new system after Tony's lessons on programming, that was 12 hours ago. The sun was almost set as I could see through the lab windows. I had come up with a name for it already, STAR. STAR stands for Stellar Tracking and Astute Robotics system. I may not be tech savvy like Tony is, but I'm definitely learning this pretty fast and I'm actually understanding it. My system is meant to be similar to Friday and Jarvis, but with some different properties. Bendy had come in an hour ago and was just simply watching me work on the holographic computer, my focus was on this. He laid upon an empty desk on his back.
"I personally don't understand all these gadgets and technology." Bendy said as he watched me.
"Well you were stuck in an old animation studio for who knows how long." I said without taking my eyes off the screen.
"That's true, everything was simple there. Then I get wrapped up into this adventure with giant robots, animal robots, dinosaurs, and those gryffins outside." Bendy continued as he then stared at the ceiling.
"Hey, you're the one who literally dragged me into the next world, remember?" I laughed.
He chuckled, "Maybe I did, but bear in mind that I was rather lonely there."
"But now you have good friends, and they don't care if you're a demon. Just be glad my family doesn't know about me having friends like you guys, they'd think I've gone completely insane." I turned to him.
Bendy then went silent as he stared at me with a wide eye, then looking off to the side with a cheerful whistle. I raised an eyebrow at him, suspicious of his behavior.
"What? What's wrong?" I gave him my full attention.
"Hm? Oh nothing, just thinking of how awkward that would be...heheh." He's lying.
"Bendy, you should know better than to lie to me, an Empath. I sense your anxiety, now why are you so nervous?" I ask.
The Ink Demon went silent once again, looking away. I crossed my arms and stared at him with furrowed brows, demanding his answer. Bendy then looked back to me, but he still said nothing. He only grinned.
"Bendy, I'm serious. Just tell me what's wrong." I said.
"I'm not sure if I should, not yet." He mumbled.
I sighed frustratedly, "Fine, I won't push you to tell me right now. But don't think that this conversation is over."
I turned back to continue working on my STAR program, looking at all the possible outcomes and equations. I pushed some of the random keys just to see what would happen, I could always go back and undo it. Tony said that this was all based off of trial and error, and I admit I've made a few already but I SOMEHOW managed to fix them. I personally think it's pure luck, well I'll take that over an explosive failure.
"Okay Bendy, let's see how the program works so far..." I take a step back.
"Now THIS I need to see." Bendy got off his desk and stood next to me.
"STAR, are you there?" I ask
The computer made many beeps and staticky pauses. I sighed and placed my hand on my forehead, disappointed. But just then, the static and beeping noises then started to fade into a voice.
"M...Ma...Ma'am. Yes ma'am, I am here and functioning properly as of now." A male voice came from the computer.
My jaw dropped, so did Bendy's. Did...Does my program...actually WORK?! Bendy and I exchanged shocked expressions.
"Bendy...I think I just made a self aware program that works!!!" I screamed excitedly.
He said nothing as he looked in between me and the computer with my program, still dumbfounded as I was losing my mind. I jumped up and down with excitement, but then I calmed myself. That was only the beginning, STAR needs to pass his tests of what I had programmed him to do.
"STAR, I'm gonna have to test out some of your features to see if they work properly. Okay?" I tell him.
"Understood ma'am." STAR spoke.
"First test, your tracking systems. Lets start simple. So STAR, where can my friend Springtrap be located?" I ask him.
"Scanning now: He is located within this facility, moments from departing through the northern exit." STAR responded.
"You let this thing track us?" Bendy asked.
"I made him to track anyone or anything, so not specifically you guys. So his tracking systems seem to be working." I say with a smile.
We heard the door to the laboratory open, and sure enough Tony came walking in.
"What other systems do you wish to test, Ma'am?" STAR asked.
Tony's eyes widened, surprised to hear STAR's voice. He stood about 15 feet away, completely still.
"Is that your Program?" I nodded.
"How the HELL did you get it working so fast?" He asked as he came towards the computer.
"Like I told you, I'm a fast learner and I waste no time when it comes to working." I crossed my arms.
"Greetings, I am STAR. STAR stands for Stellar Tracking and Astute Robotics system. I was designed similarly to your Friday software, but with a few different purposes." STAR spoke.
The man stared at the computer, then back to me. Yeah that was my and Bendy's first reaction to when STAR spoke for the first time, I just can't believe I made something that actually works! I need to tell everyone else about this successful endeavor! I can test STAR's systems later.
"Okay, can both of you not touch STAR please? I need to tell everyone else about this." I say.
"No need to worry, Ma'am. I will put myself into sleep mode until you return." STAR said as he then powered down.
"Tony, I'm lookin at you mister. No touchie!" I raised an eyebrow.
"Don't worry I'm not going to tamper with your program." He said.
"I'll keep an eye on him, just go and tell the news." Bendy stood next to the man, slightly towering over him.
I nodded and ran out of the laboratory, headed for the nearest exit. Unfortunately there wasn't one in this area, so I had to keep going. Running through the 'Restricted Access' door, I felt the cold and sinister feeling once again and I stopped in my tracks. I looked to see no one around, so I know it can't be any Avenger. The presence was coming from in front of me this time, I growled under my breath.
"What do you want NOW, Unicron?" I asked.
The shadow bear of Unicron faded into existence 3 feet in front of me.
"Hmph, your so called 'ability' truly takes the fun out of it." He said.
"What do you want?" I repeated and crossed my arms.
He chuckled, "I can make your life much easier, my dear."
Well that's not creepy at all.
"How so?" I ask almost sarcastically.
"I can free your Autobots friends and family right now with no trouble at all." Unicron said with a grin.
My eyes widen. No way this can be true. But if it is...
"What?" I asked.
"You heard me correctly, human. I can help you. I can send your friends and your family back to your home worlds. Your Autobot friends will return to their base as if nothing had occurred." Unicron came closer.
"What's the catch?" I asked immediately.
Unicron scoffed, "How dare you assume that I request something in return! But your assumption in this case is quite correct, I do ask of one thing in return.."
"What is it?" I was getting impatient.
Unicron was then in my face, his grin menacing.
"Your soul will spend eternity with me in the Anti-Spark."
