Hayami's POV (Geez ! I promised to myself to not do POVs in this story but it's soooooo useful ! I can't even keep a promise I made with myself wth ?!) :

Well at least he stopped yelling. 'Spare me' ? Really ? Did this guy thought I was going to-- Man ! I'm not nuts ! If we can't just pull some pranks nowadays where this world is going ? ... Actually he's kinda right. Take this bat with me wasn't a good idea. Okay I can understand why he was acting weird. But I'm not violent. I mean, I passed the last 2 months to do pranks. But the best still is the first one. I never saw Kariya this scared in my whole life. It was a good vengeance.

I heard my phone ring.

"Yeah ?" I said as I answered the phone.

"Hayami ? I-it's been a while..."

"Hamano ! Hi buddy ! You're right ! A biiiiiiig while !" I said with the biggest smile ever. "What's the matter pal ?"

"Hum... I was wondering.... Do you had any weird dream recently ?"

"Well actually, the weirdest thing that happened to me is you asking this. Why ?"

"Just like that."

"I know ! Wanna hang out ?!" I asked without a second thought.

"Hayami... We talked about this, I don't wanna see anyone, please."

"I know, I know. But you're missing your good old pal ya know ?!"

"Who are you talking about ?"

"The sun silly !"

"The sun ???"

"I bet you're on the floor of your bedroom right now. Come out buddy. It won't kill you !"

"I would prefer to stay home, thank you."

"Okay then. Gotta go, bye !"

I hung up the call, not because I had something to do but because I had enough of that guy who's always whining. (basically me with some of my friends. You know, when they always have something wrong. I'm just going to slap them next time, lol. I'm gonna tell you later :D) So I left the field next to the river. Then my phone ringed again. And I answered without looking who it was.

"What is it again ?"

"Come to the club. Right now." Said the voice of an old friend.

"Why would I do that ?"

"Just come ! We gotta talk with you !"

"Wait a minute Shindou ! Did something happened ???"

"Listen, you're not coming to the club and Hamano neither, and weird things keep happening to us !"

"What kind of things ?"

"The kind of Kariya getting attacked, Midori finding a corpse and now Hikaru ending up coughing out blood ??" (Thanks for that resumé Shindou.)

"Ok I'm coming." I hung off worried. 

I ran to the club. It was weird to come suddenly to school after all that time. I did skip school for 2 months after all. Then I finally enter the club room.

"I'm here !" I said panting.

"Hayami ! You little--" Midori grabbed me by the collar and pressed me against the wall.

"What's your problem Midori ???"

"I should ask you this ! What do you think you're doing ?!"

"Please calm down !" Begged Tenma.

"Are you serious ?! After all the things he has done ?!!"

"What do you think I've done ? I just skipped school." I said annoyed.

"Then why did Kariya get attacked just after you threated him ?!"

"How should I know ?"

"Because you did, DUH !" She said in an obvious tone.

"Wait a minute, I was just joking ! I just pulled a prank to scare him a little. Nothing more I swear."

Shindou came to tell Midori to let me go.

"We'll not do anything productive if you yell Midori. We all know that you're mad, but he might be telling the truth."

Midori tsked letting me go. She surely was mad ! But man, what was it with Kariya ? What the hell happened to him ?

"Listen a sec, I swear that I didn't do anything to anyone. I was just pranking people. And not in a violent way."

"I knew it ! You couldn't have done something like this !" Said Tenma cheerfully.

"Oh ! And about Hamano, he's just weirder than usual. Nothing special. He just wanna stay home. He's not really in the mood."

"Oh, okay. thank you."

"But what was that with Kariya getting attacked ?" I asked.

Suddenly, the atmosphere became..... Weird. I felt like... I knew what happened, why it's like this but... I actually don't recognize that feeling.

.....

But deep inside, I knew that I spend a lot of time with that feeling. I just wonder............ Why can't I remember when or why did that happened ?
