"What's his problem ?" Said Midori out loud. The coach enter in the room. "What happened here ? I saw Hayami leaving and he said 'we just had a little chat' with a smile then he left. Why were you yelling ?" Asked the man. "He is crazy. That's what hapenned." Said Midori pissed. "Hum... Coach.." Started Hikaru. "Kariya don't look well...." Kariya was shaking at the point he couldn't stay up. He just fell holding his shoulders to protect himself. "Haruna, can you call the orphanage to take him back then he can have some rest ?" Asked the coach. She nodded then leaves the room. "What happened to him ?" Everyone was quiet, shocked of what Hayami has told. "He threatened to rip his legs off." Said coldly Tsurugi. "He what ?! Why ??" The coach was shocked too. "Nobody knows. He's so weird lately..." Said Tenma sadly. "Yeah. It's the first time I regret that Hamano isn't here to make a bad joke or say something stupid." Said Midori.

"Hmm.. While talking about him.... Do someone know why he wasn't at school today ?" Asked Akane who for once was worried for somebody else than Shindou. Everyone went home, and Kariya did not go home like everyone else, nah. He ran like never before. Even if two people should be with him just in case. In the middle of the night, Endou's phone was ringing. "H-Hello?" He said half asleep. "Hi Endou Mamoru, I have to talk to you, you see, I needed two young boys to do an experiment, and your players were chosen, it's an honor ... If something happens to them, call me and I will come to take him to the lab. " Said the man. " Who are you and why did you do that? " Asked the coach. " I am Takebayashi Tojo, a scientist, and I did it because they fit perfectly with our research. but I can not tell you more, it's a secret." "If it's secret, why are you telling me that?" Ask the coach. "Because you need to know." Then he hung up.

After the call, Endou couldn't sleep. He was too stressed and try to call the man back but no anwser. He decided to call the police. "And what's the name of your man Sir ?" Asked the policeman. "Takebayashi Tojo." After two or three minutes of silence, the policeman continuesd. "Hum... Are you sure Sir ? Nobody's named like that..." "What ?! What does that mean ?! You better not joking with me !" "Please calm down, we'll search in the morning. I'll call you back if there are some news." Then he hung off.

The morning came by and Endou didn't sleep of the night but he went to Raimon. "Endou, you look awful, did you even sleep last night ?" Asked Otonashi. "That's a way to say hello. No, I didn't sleep. Why nobody is here ?" Silence. "It's... Kariya.... he was find laying on the road of school. It looks like someone stabbed him severly times in the stomach so he is at the hospital now. Everybody are waiting for the result." Said the teacher sadly. "Do you know who did this ?" Asked the coach. "Not yet. The police search." Answered Otonashi.

The coach leave the room and went outside and tried to call back Takebayashi.

"Endou Mamoru." Said the voice through the phone. "Come here right now.We need to talk, Takebayashi Tojo."
