( 𝐈𝐃𝐘𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐂 )

ASTORIA WAS HURT, sad, enraged, upset, ireful, furious, and a whole lot of other words that couldn't even describe how she felt towards Caspian as of the moment.

It didn't help that the two boys were acting completely childish towards each other all the time. The two constantly bickered with one another, both all too stubborn to take the blame.

Astoria knew that it was neither one of their faults as this was a group matter, so the blame goes towards everyone involved.

Astoria was wandering about the ruins, when she heard scratchy voices chanting where Aslan's grave was. She immediately ducked behind the wall to hide.

"I am hunger. I am thirst. I can fast a hundred years and not die." The icy cold voice growled, ringing louder as Astoria crept closer. "I can lie a hundred nights on the ice and not freeze. I can drink a river of blood and not burst. Show me your enemies!"

"And you can guarantee Miraz' death?" An extremely familiar voice asked in response.

Caspian.

What on Earth was he doing? Moving closer towards the doorway to get a view of the scene, Astoria's eyes were met with a horrifying scene. Caspian was being surrounded by three creatures; a dwarf known as Nikabrik, a hag-like creature, and a werewolf.

"And more." The Hag responded cryptically.

Astoria's eyes drifted back towards Caspian, as the prince drew back his sword cautiously. He looked back towards Nikabrik, who nodded slowly.

"Don't do it, Caspian." Astoria whispered to herself, not wanting to give away her hiding spot.

"Let the circle be drawn." The Hag's hoarse voice croaked as it began to chant strange words, and the Werewolf began to draw a circle around Caspian, confining him to an imaginary cage, yet Caspian still did not move.

"Get out of there, Caspian." Astoria yelled emerging from the dark corner that she was hiding in, trying to save Caspian from whatever what about to happen. She tried her hardest to move towards the prince but her feet wouldn't budge.

Although Astoria was clueless as to what was going on, it was nothing good, and she had to stop this madness before it escalated. Caspian and the creatures paid no mind to Astoria as she begged Caspian to get out of his trance.

Slowly, the Hag pulled out a glowing blue staff. The Hag then thrusted the staff into the ground, sending a wall of ice crawling upwards, covering the once proud statue of Aslan with the face of a woman. Astoria stared into the lifeless, cold eyes of the woman trapped in the ice.

"Wait," Caspian stuttered, breaking Astoria's stare at the woman in the ice. "This isn't what I wanted!"

"One drop of Adam's blood and you free me. Then I am yours, my King." The woman said, her voice light and airy, yet thick and full of venom and cold as ever.

"Don't do it Caspian!" Astoria yelled, pleading to the heavens above. "Don't do it!"

"No!" Caspian shouted at the woman.

However, Caspian's protests were ignored, and the Werewolf grabbed the prince's hand, allowing the Hag to draw blood.

"Stop!" Astoria yelled, but she felt her throat starting to constrict in panic, as she realized that she had no weapon on her to try and break Caspian free. "Don't hurt him!"

The woman then stuck her cold, white hand out of the ice, her steely gaze staring Caspian down as a wicked grin emerged from her lips.

"Stop!" A voice shouted, as Astoria was roughly pushed out of the doorway.

   Peter.

He, Edmund, and Trumpkin ran into the room. Reacting to the sudden intrusion, the Werewolf crawled over the stone table, readying itself to attack. Astoria wanted to help the boys, she truly did, but she had no weapon, and she would 100% get herself killed if the tried to fight a Narnian creature by hand, let alone a werewolf.

"Come on.." the woman urged impatiently, her hand still outstretched to receive Caspian's blood.

Peter broke the temptation between Caspian and the woman, as he collided with Caspian, sending him crashing to the floor. "Get away from him!" Peter yelled, trampling slightly under the weight of the woman's cold, enraged, glaring eyes.

"Peter, dear. I've missed you." She said in a sweet, sickly voice. "Come, just one drop. You know you can't do this alone."

Suddenly the sorceress let out a gasp, her eyes rolled back as cracks began to appear in the ice. The ice shattered, revealing Edmund standing stiffly with his sword drawn. "I know," Edmund huffed at Peter. "You had it sorted."

As Edmund stalked off, the room was left in shocked silence. The woman was gone.

"Who the hell was that?" Astoria asked, her voice trembling.

  "The White Witch."
