Lia's POV

"Luke I can't." He pulls back and looks at me surprised.

"I promise, it'll be okay baby girl." He starts kissing my neck and I shake my head.

"Luke, stop. Please." He pulls back once again and stares at me for a while. He runs his fingers through his now messy quiff and gets off of the bed.

"Sorry Lia." He leaves the room in order for me to get dressed. I slowly pull my pants on then my shirt. I sit on the edge of my bed and just clench my jaw.

Should I have let him do it? It's all awkward now and it's because of me. Welp, too late.

I walk downstairs and he's on the phone. He turns around and looks at me before pulling the phone away from his mouth.

"Lia, go back to bed. Okay?" I nod and walk back upstairs. I climb under the covers and close my eyes.

When I wake up my rooms really hot. I yawn then stretch and sit up from bed. I hear my bathroom door open across the hall. I hope Luke's not still mad at me.

"What did you do." Calum says as he walks into my room.

"What are you doing here!?" I ask surprised. He smirks then walks over to my bed.

"You didn't answer my question." He says as he sits at the end of my bed.

"It's a long story." I say looking away from Calum and trying to avoid eye contact.

"Lia." He says in a stern tone sounding like a parent. I looks up at him and bite my lip.

"I may it may not have told him no to sex." The second the words escape my mouth Calum burst out laughing. "Calum! Stop!" I say raising my voice at him.

"How far did he get?" Calum asks still slightly chuckling.

"No shirt, no pants snogging session. I said no when he wanted the underwear off." Calum laughs a little more and he runs his hand through his hair before he stops laughing. "Where did he go, anyway?"

"Said he needed to get some alone time. What ever the fuck that means." I laugh at Calum rolling his eyes.

"I don't know. I like him and he's cute and nice but I'm not ready for sexual activities." I say earning a chuckle from Calum. He suddenly turns serious and bites his lip.

"He can't protect you forever." Calum says in a straight tone. "I know he thinks he can but they have ways. They'll find out why Luke isn't coming to work. That's why that guy was at the house." I slowly nod once Calum finishes talking.

"Can't Luke just leave? He can go back to work and say he killed me and I don't have to talk to Luke again." I say trying to think of something to do.

"It doesn't work that way, sweetheart. If it was that easy I wouldn't have so much blood on my hands." Calum says shaking his head at me.

"Why isn't it that easy?" I ask annoyed.

"Someone wants you dead and they won't stop till your name is on the news."

Luke's POV

I sit in the empty parking lot and run my hands through my hair. What the hell am I going to do? Should I ask Calum to do it? He wouldn't feel as guilty as me. He's done it it a thousand more times than me.

I play with my lip ring with my tongue. I open my window allowing the cold air to make its way into my car. I breathe it in and close my eyes.

It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay.

It has to be okay.
