Morning

Kai dozed off here and there,only able to get only a few hours of sleep. By morning,she practially look like she was hit by a bus. Nika was getting ready for school as she saw the state that Kai was in.

"Maybe you should stay home." Offered Nika as she places a hand upon Kai's forehead.

Kai felt a bit warm and gives a weak yawn. The dom could see the exhaustion in her eyes. She pulls Kai back into the bed and tucks her in.

"Nika...I'm f...fine." Yawned Kai.

"You have a fever. Your staying home." Ordered Nika as she sets a washcloth and places it upon her lover's forehead. "Now get some sleep. There is some medicine in the kitchen,in the cabinet next to the fridge along with snacks. Text me if you need anything."

Kai nods as her eyelids got real heavy and she tries to fight off the sleep yet loses the battle. Nika smiled and kisses the red head's cheek. She then grabbed her bag and keys,locking the door behind her as she walks out.

School,Nika's pov
I walked up the pavement towards the school as cherry blossoms began to bloom and softly land on the pavement,covering the ground in pink. All I could think of was my poor,poor kitten. Once in the classroom,I took my seat and pulls up my phone. My lock screen lights up but something was different about it. Then I noticed it. My lock screen was a picture of Kai smiling which was my usual and original background but this time it had "Love you." Written across the screen.

"She must have changed it without me knowing. That sly girl." I chuckled.

The bell rang,signalling the begining of classes. I watched as everyone walked in,even that so called pure Akila. To be honest,she was cute but Kai was a lot cuter then her. Akila glanced at me and gave me an innocent smile along with a little wave. I returned it with a smile of my own,deep down I wanted to flip her off. She has been emotionally,and mentally terrorizing my poor Kai for 7 years and she just decides to show up at our school?bull-freakin-shit!Kai made me promise to talk to her,no kill. So for Kai's sake,I will keep my promise.

"Nika-sempai?" Asked the so called innocent Akila.

I looked to her and instantly was greeted by hatred in her eyes.

"May I speak to you about something,after during lunch?can you meet me on the school's roof?" Akila asked as everyone saw her innocent smile.

This was my chance to have alone time and speak my mind and let her know that she needs to leave Kai alone for once and for all.

"Sure." I fake smiles back.

As the minutes to by I began to wonder what she wanted to tell me,even tho I clearly already knew the answer. Yet I was curious. Once the lunch bell rang,students begin to gather and eat together,while I head to the roof. I heard a ding go off,telling me I had a text.I pull out my phone and see its from Kai.

Text: mommy,I'm lonely,hurry home so I can feel better. ~K

i blush as she sent me a picture of her laying in bed,curled up in my bedsheets along with the text. I wanted to be with her right now but,I couldn't. I couldnt leave school,people will think she is rubbing off on me. Before I knew it,I was at the entrence to the roof. I quickly reply and go upon the roof. The sun shine down brightly, and Akila stood with her back to me.

"Nika Saruke,age 21 about to graduate in 5 months,straight A's and thinking of taking over your family's military base. Your parents must be so proud." Said Akila as she glances over her shoulder at me.

"Akila,I'm gonna tell you something,and I DONT want to repeat myself. Leave Kai alone before you end up regretting it. Because of you,she has been mentally and emotionally tortured by you for 7 long years. First you tied her up,tried to feed her a blue pill,now you transferred to our school and you followed us at the mall and to my place. I know it was you who slipped that envelope under the door." I growled.

Akila turned around and faced me.

"I don't care what you think,or care about me. Kai is gonna be mine wether you or her likes it or not. I don't let go very easily. Since she ran away from me,I have thought of nothing but how to get her back. Every night for 5 months she stayed with my family,I would sleep in her arms. Then,she just had to bring you up. You ruinedmy plans." Akila said with a look of hatred. "I hate you Nika. I wish she never met you."

To be honest,I was a little hurt by that last statement. But Kai is with me,and I wasn't gonna back down so easily. Kai was happy with me. Akila scared her more then ever to the point where Kai is now afraid to sleep.

"I hate repeating myself but im serious,akila. Stop now and leave her alone. Stop it before you get hurt." I demanded.

"You don't scare me Nika. I did a bunch of research on you and your family. I even know about your "little secret" that you keep in your pants. It would be a sh-" Akila laughed before being grabbed and slammed into the floor.

I held a tight grip around her skinny, little,annoying neck. I snarl as I hover over her,getting in her face.

"You can black mail me all you want,no one is gonna believe you. Do whatever u want but I have warned you 2x already to stay away from kai! If I see you near her or my place again,I won't be afraid to use necessary force to make you stop!do I make myself clear!?" I growled as my grip on her throat tighten,almost cutting off her air supply.

That look of hatred in Akila's eyes instantly turned into a look of pure fear. She gasped for air as her face became red.
