as you probably already guessed, daisy is a wildflower. she grew up independent and free, and it shaped her into the person she grew to be. of course, she wouldn't change that for the world. daisy is a proud and happy girl. she tries to be as carefree as possible, and more often then not, she succeeds. daisy is the type of girl to laugh and dance her way through life. she takes challenges head on as they come, but she doesn't let them get to her.

now, that's all great, but it's not very specific. let's get more detailed, shall we? well, when you first meet daisy, she's perfectly polite and pleasant. you'll immediately notice her wide smile and the way she joyously laughs at almost anything. she's a girl bursting at the seams with life. and then, as you get to know her, you'll start to notice her sense of humor. daisy is a girl who loves to joke around and be playful. you can tell when she's in a playful mood because her wide smile will turn into a smaller one that's full of mischief. yes, her humor is teasing and she absolutely adores it when people can play along. who wants to go through life without humor? definitely not daisy.

and then there's daisy's uncontrollable side. yes, much like the hurricanes that plague the island she lives on, daisy cannot be controlled. you might not have guessed it yet, but daisy is quite the troublemaker. she does what she wants, and more often than not that involves breaking a few rules. rule breaking has never been a problem for daisy. she grew like a wildflower. free, unrestricted, so of course she's going to be what she was grown to be: wild. while some may see her uncontrollability as a flaw, it can be a good thing. whenever you're with daisy, you know you're in for an adventure. she's anything but boring. trouble isn't always bad, and rule following isn't always good. that's a lesson daisy learned early in life.

there's more to this girl. like everyone, she's complex and has multiple sides to her. daisy is actually one of the most caring people you'll ever meet. you might not have guessed it, but she's full of kindness and compassion. when she grows to care for someone, she becomes loyal to them. daisy is a loyal friend who always sticks by her loved ones' sides. it's just how she was raised to be. when she sees someone hurting, she tries to help. she's got a rather maternal instinct to her sometimes. that's weird, right? a compassionate and soft person isn't usually also completely wild at times. and yet daisy is. she's an unexplainable mystery. she's a girl who will make you scratch your head and be confused beyond belief. she's a wild flower. she's a hurricane. she's simply herself.

「 BACKSTORY 」

on a stormy night in spring, april sixth to be exact, daisy elouise avenida was born to jack and mayella avenida on an expansive farm in bahram. the young red-headed and giggly baby was their third born, but their first little girl. her older brothers, jack jr (j.j.) and cody avenida, were just as much trouble as daisy was. they were basically like a small little gang. set a bunch of little kids loose on acres and acres of farm land, and you know they're gonna raise some hell. but daisy wouldn't trade this childhood for the world. she grew up basically doing whatever she wanted, as long as she always remembered to keep her small responsibilities of taking care of the animals. that, she didn't mind. daisy fell in love with farm life. the fresh air, the lovely weather, the small beach at the edge of their property, it was absolutely amazing! daisy was the type of girl to run absolutely wild. you'd think farm land would get boring after a while, but she managed to always keep herself entertained, even as she got older. the girl's main focus on the farm as she grew older were horses. the girl trained and took care of them, while her brothers' responsibilities had more to do with the crops. she simply just got to basically fall in love with the sweet animals. yes, farm life treated daisy well. when she wasn't running around or tending to the horses, she'd be up in a tree reading or swimming somewhere in the ocean. daisy is pretty set in her way that she doesn't need more than this. the farm and her family. she had been to the capital city multiple times in her life to accompany her mother and father on business, and she still came to the conclusion that farm life was the one for her, not city life. she stubbornly held onto that opinion as tightly as she could. and then the selection came along. daisy had to admit, even she was curious about what the selection would hold. she loved her home, and she'd always plan on returning to it... but could a short stay in a creepy old palace to explore really hurt? of course not! as previously mentioned, daisy always basically did whatever she wanted. that was who she was. and on a whim, this girl dropped her stubborn "i don't want to leave the farm" attitude to randomly /leave/ the farm. nobody really understood. she was one do the most loyal siblings to her home, and yet she entered a selection that could pull her away from it? daisy couldn't explain it. curiosity killed the cat. okay, that's not the best way to put it. but daisy just wanted a little taste of the palace. a small adventure and then she'd return back to the lovely farm. that was the plan. right?

「 STRENGTHS 」

☼ HONESTY — daisy is as honest as they come. some would even say blunt. she just doesn't lie, and she doesn't hold back her opinions.

☼ COMPASSION — although rough around the edges, daisy is really a sweet and caring girl at heart. she always tries her best to be considerate and helpful. she was raised to have some sort of manners.

☼ SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE — now, daisy's wild nature gets her into trouble sometimes, but it's also one of the most fun things about her, and therefore a strength. she's tons of fun and she's always ready to look for an adventure with or without someone to experience it with.

☼ INTELLIGENCE — surprisingly, daisy is actually quite a sharp school. while the school she went to that taught all the little farm kids in the area wasn't the most academically challenging, daisy herself read and educated herself a large amount. she always just wanted to know more, which ended up making her quite the intelligent and inquisitive girl.

「 FLAWS 」

☽ STUBBORNNESS — this dear girl is anything but a push over. she has her opinions and her ideas, and she'll defend them.

☽ INSECURITY — while the girl appears confident, she has a bit of secret insecurity chipping away at her like everyone else. while she adored her childhood, it gave her a bit of an inferiority complex. she's worried that everyone will think she's less than just because she didn't have a lavish childhood. it's a tad bit ridiculous, but it is a /flaw/ after all.

☽ REBELLIOUSNESS — again, as i've said many times, daisy does whatever she wants. and sometimes this means breaking the rules. rule breaking is something she's not afraid of, and now that she's headed to the palace, that could definitely be a problem.

☽ HONESTY — yes, it's both a strength and a flaw. as refreshing as honesty can be, it can also cut like a knife. daisy never really learned how to keep her opinions to herself. sometimes the truth hurts, and therefore it can cause a flaw.

「 OTHER 」

☼ daisy job is basically to train horses. while she loves it when she gets to train young horses, she'll always have a soft spot in her heart for the fort adorable horse she trained, roseanne

☽ playing cards and betting is a rather common occurrence in the avenida household, so daisy has developed a pretty damn good poker face

☼ daisy is known in her families little farming communities for making the best berry and apple pies on all of bahram. there have been competitions to solidify this belief.

☽ daisy's childhood wasn't completely isolated, in the area where her parent's farm is, there was a little community of farming families, so daisy developed some deep friendships from that. she's not antisocial like you may have been led to believe.

☼ daisy's older brothers are wildly protective of her. when it comes to adventures, they aren't. when it comes to boys, hell yeah. there's stories to back this fact up, but i won't bore you with them just yet.

☽ every month, daisy would accompany her parents to the capital city so they could do business and buy all the products they needed that the farm couldn't produce. this is how daisy developed the firm belief that farm life was the superior way. she wasn't fond of the hustle and bustle of the city.

☼ avenida farms luckily has their own little slice of paradise at the very edge of their property. since they're farm is along the coast, it had its own little beach which daisy absolutely adored growing up.

☽ this may come as a surprise or not, but daisy has a tattoo. one night a few of her friends and her snuck out and headed to the capital city where they found a tattoo parlor. like a said, this was just another adventure that daisy loved so dearly. her tattoo was simple, a small sun and moon right next to each other on the small of her back. to this day, her family still doesn't know.
