personality | Arden is a rollercoaster of a girl. She's full of life and energy, and you never quite know what to expect from the girl. She's perfectly polite and friendly. She's honestly a ray of sunshine at first. She positively loves being social and friendly. The girl is bubbly and can practically talk your ear off. She treats people fairly and is genuinely interested in other people. She's happy and friendly, but the person who believes that is all to the girl is extremely unobservant. With how expressive and bubbly Arden is, there's obviously another side to her to balance it out. She's an extremely emotional person. To have the extreme brightness, you also have to have the moodiness, the darkness. She's a lot to handle. She's got a surprising temper like no other. She feels everything deeply. It's as if someone completely cranked up how intensely she was supposed to experience emotions. Arden is an all or nothing type of girl. Either she's 100% herself (bubbly, giggly, emotional, loud, overdramatic), or she's nothing with you (polite but closed off). The only way to get the second option is by somehow hurting her. That's when Arden retreats into herself. As you can probably tell, this girl's wild, loud, and proud personality is not for everyone. She's more than most people can deal with (at least to have a relationship with), but with how deeply she will care, it's almost worth it. Arden is friendly, passionate, and outgoing and that will most likely never change. She has good and bad to her, but it's all about balance. That's Arden for you!

photography has been a major part of Arden's life since she was 11. She became quickly enraptured with the idea of telling a story without any words. She is absolutely obsessed with capturing the true and raw essence of a moment of time in just one click of a button

cooking is another one of Arden's hobbies that has always been there for her as a stress reliever. She likes to just follow a recipe or make something easily to calm her usually wild thoughts

this girl absolutely adores her family. They're a tight knit bunch that still meet once a week for dinner even though their lives are hectic on their own

flowers are honestly such an easy way to Arden's heart. She finds them endlessly beautiful and happens to be enchanted by them

birds are yet another one of her likes. She has three adorable parakeets

dogs/animals in general are another thing that could add onto that last item on the list. She has her own golden retriever that she's absolutely obsessed with. Anything with fluff or feathers is something that Arden will adore.

Arden has a close group of friends that are thick as thieves and practically spend all of their time together. She wouldn't trade them for anything in the world

strengths | Arden is a friendly and warm person which gives her the ability to make friends quickly. She is confident and sure of herself. She's an extremely caring and cheery person. An all around ray of sunshine most of the time.

weaknesses | She's moody and she definitely has a temper. Her patience is nonexistent. Her perkiness and energy level tends to be annoying. She gets attached to people much too easily. She tends to err towards the irresponsible side. She's a terrible secret keeper. She rambles. She holds grudges.

backstory | Arden was born in raised in New York, New York. She loves the city with her whole heart and sees no reason to move away. She was raised by two wonderful and loving parents, Rhonda and Henry McBride. Her father was a very quiet and kind man, while Arden's mother was extremely similar to her. She was a tornado of a woman, with her husband being the eye to her storm. Their marriage lasted and they're still very much so alive and well. They weren't perfect, but they were probably some of the best parents anyone could ask for, at least that is according to Arden. This girl was raised in a loud and packed environment. She has not one, not two, but three older brothers! William, Michael, and Parker McBride happen to be their names. All of them were different in mannerisms and personalities slightly, but one thing was similar through out all of them: they were all opinionated and loud creatures just like Arden. It was a childhood full of chaos. The four amigos got into quite a lot of trouble together. There was countless amounts of sprained ankles and broken arms due to the crazy stuff that they would get up to. Arden learned how to keep up from a young age. It was either keep up, or be left behind for her brothers to have all the fun. Arden would never allow that. Three lessons she learned from growing up with the family she did: 1) balance is necessary to survive, 2) keep up or you'll be left behind, 3) being loud and boisterous isn't always a bad thing.

High school was an interesting time for dear Arden. Being the social butterfly she was and still is, she actually loved it. She adored all the social interaction and the memories she made. During her sophomore year, her path crossed with Elliot Vaughn and it was instant fireworks, end of the world sort of thing. It was clear they were both into each other and fit perfectly together. Their romance was wonderful, passionate, sweet, all that nice stuff. But oh, this love story most definitely takes a turn. Unfortunately our dear Arden pulled a Guinevere. It was second semester, senior year and Elliot and Arden were still going strong. Everyone thought they should just marry them and have perfect children and live happily ever, but Arden isn't the perfect fairy tale heroin. No, unfortunately for this story, she played the role of the unfaithful villain. It was some stupid house party that the two of them went to together on a Tuesday night of all nights. It was a great night, but Elliot had some test or something the next day, so he had to call it early and he left, leaving Arden there. She had already drank a bit that night for some reason, and her judgement slipped away. She had a few more drinks and started dancing with one of Elliot's friends. Harmless, right? The dancing slowly turned more sexual and then all of the sudden, the were both moving to some random bedroom in the large house the party was thrown in. One thing led to another, and they were full on making out, both of them drunk and slightly sloppy. The dudes shirt came off and it was all moving extremely quickly under their poor judgement. Unfortunately dear Elliot had left his phone in the very same bedroom that night earlier in the party when him and Arden had been having a little fun of their own up there (ironic, right?), so he had to drive back to the party to get it. Long story short, he catches his beloved girlfriend of three years making out with one of his shirtless friends in a bedroom and it destroys the relationship. The rest of that year of high school was filled with pain, angst, and lots of avoidance. It was an ordeal, and to this day it was Arden's biggest regret.

On a more cheerful note, Arden's life did move on eventually. Surprisingly and luckily when it was time for Arden to go to college, she got accepted to NYU, her dream school! She lived in the dorms for the first two years (this is when she met most of her wonderful friends), and for her second two, she moved into her own little apartment in the city. She had a wonderful four years at college, still in the city she loved. She had been doing her best to move on and enjoy her life as an adult. She made friends, she enjoyed the city life, her career finally started to get some momentum. Still, there's always that guilt and regret from high school that follows her around most of the time... we'll see what happens...

Rhonda Lynn McBride is her mother and in many ways, Arden is almost her clone. They're both extremely passionate people who are full of life.

Henry Elijah McBride is her father who is the calm in all the hectic mess that can become their family.

William Xander McBride is the oldest child and probably the most immature out of all of them. He is 29 and a complete man-child. He's hilarious and brings great comic relief, but he's not serious about much.

Michael Forest McBride (27) is the second oldest child and he is one of the most energetic, smooth talking, charismatic people you will ever meet.

Parker Derick McBride (25) is the kind hearted sweetheart of the family. He's loud and proud like all of his family, but in a much more calm and cheery way. Even though he's the second youngest, the boy is already married, which leads us to the next family member.

Heather Allison McBride (26) is Arden's sister-in-law who is married to Parker. She's a confident, radiant girl who was the perfect addition to the family. She's only been married to Parker for a year, but they dated for two years before she proposed to him.

Fiona Sandra Beckett (23) is a friend of Arden's that she met at NYU. She's the most dramatic people you'll ever meet, and you guessed it, she was a theatre major! Fifi (as Arden calls her) is an absolute bestie of Arden's and they see each other all the time for coffee and sleepovers (no, they're not too old).

James Elis Cooper (25) is another one of Arden's friends that she met at school. He's a sweetheart and he's probably the mom friend.

Quinn August Winters (24) was Arden's roommate at NYU. The girl is a bundle of sass and sarcasm who will put you in your place before you can even say 'sorry'. She's a musician and she's low key crazy but the best friend a girl could ask for.

other | Arden's life is completely hectic and complicated and every changing, but she wouldn't have it any other way. She could be classified as a nerd by some people because of her deep love of all those amazing fantasy stories (ex: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings), but she isn't ashamed. She goes through Netflix series easier than she breaths.
