to most, meredith's personality is fairly simple. the just see the rich bitch and that's all. they think she's stuck up and high strung. now, don't get me wrong, they're not crazy to think this. meredith puts up walls of coldness and uncaring. she's been spoiled her whole life and it's definitely gone to her head. she has a tendency to judge people and look down on them. yeah, it's not right, but that's how meredith is sometime. of course, that's not all there is to her. she's a little bit more. the rich bitch is just a front. most people don't get to see the slightly softer of meredith. the side that's subtly sweet. she has a gorgeous smile, and when she gets comfortable enough around someone she always uses it. the girl can actually be pretty soft and silly once she gets closer to someone. it just takes the girl a while to take down her walls and show that she's not /really/ terrible.

as you already know, meredith was raised in an upperclass family, extremely rich. the federlind family has owned most of the land in town for generations. so meredith was completely spoiled as a child. she was the baby of the family, with three older brothers. she grew up in a bubble of wealth. when she was a young and naive girl, she fell in love a few times. and yet, the love turned out to be false. the boys either used her for her wealth or her beauty. it didn't break meredith, but it certainly hardened her slightly. she started acting cold and condescending, as a means to protect herself. yes, this is an angsty story, but hopefully it brings a little bit of drama to the rp.
