annette gave up trying to hide her darkness long ago. for so long the girl tried to fight it. she wanted to be different, not like everyone around her, but eventually she caved to the darkness within. annette is a devious little devil. you'll always see a smirk playing on her perfectly painted lips. you'll always see trouble playing in her beautiful, shocking blue eyes. her intentions are never pure. from the time you say hello to annette, you can already tell she's up to no good. she'll bat her long eyelashes right into your heart and eventually leave you with nothing but regret. whether she takes advantage of you for money, power, or simply bit of attention, she'll always leave her mark. annette is a selfish girl. she'll take what she want, but she'll be smart about it. she'll make you think that she's helping you, being a good friend, being there for you, but really, she's robbing you blind. whoops? annette loves attention on her. if people don't notice her, she's gonna get pissed. who wouldn't notice the hot blonde with a devilish smirk. she's irresistible, right? or at least, she likes to think she is. when annette is in a good mood, she'll simply flirt and engage in witty banter. though, whether she's laughing at you or with you will never be clear. the girl always seems like she knows something you don't. like there's something going on behind the scenes that amuses her to no end, but you don't get to know what it is. she simply likes being one step ahead of everyone else. she prides herself on that. she definitely thinks she's always the most clever caster in the room. oh yes, ego is a huge thing with this girl. from her looks, to her intelligence, to her abilities, annette loves to feel superior. if you challenge her or have the confidence to go against her, she'll give it her all to beat you and prove her superiority.

annette has a rather stereotypical backstory. she was born to her mother, lily ridley, on a rainy night in april. her father was never in the picture. neither annette nor lily even know who annette's father is. yeah, that's how many drunken one night stands lily used to have back when she was young. annette's mother was a dark caster. she was an irresponsible mother, constantly floating around. the two have an odd relationship. they weren't always close. sometimes they could go for days without talking, and then randomly they'd be on the same page and go on a rant together about something random, laughing or snickering together. roasting other people was kind of what the two cynical blondes bonded over. they both respected each other's privacy. even if they weren't always the closest, they understood each other. you see, annette was claimed from a young age. it happened when she was thirteen. she'll never forget the pain. from then on, annette was basically pissed the fuck off at life. yes, she always knew she'd be dark. her mother was, her father most likely was, and given her personality... yeah, it was pretty undeniable that this girl was destined to be dark. but anyway, annette didn't take this well. she found it unfair. why was she an outcast? in her mind, she was much more cunning and powerful than any normal light caster. why couldn't she be at the center of society? why couldn't she be beloved? she just thought the whole prejudiced system was fucked up, and she was set to change it. some shit needs to change, and annette is ready to be the person that fucks shit up enough to cause that change.

she wants control, fucker. she wants change. for once, she wants to be looked at like there's not something wrong with her. don't get her wrong, she loves the dark side. it's a part of her, a part she gave up fighting long ago. she just wants other people to see the beauty of darkness like she has. if that takes a little seduction and lying, then annette is the perfect girl for the job.

failing. if she doesn't win midnight's love or trust and she's sent home... annette doesn't know what she'll do. going home simply isn't an option. her life is sorta super fucking depressing, and this is her one way out. this is her one chance to change everything. this is her one chance for a life she could actually enjoy. a rich and lavish life versus a life of barely scraping by. so yeah, failing isn't an option. annette sees this as basically her destiny. she's cunning and beautiful, she was /meant/ for this, or at least so she thinks. she's got huge ambitions. she was meant to bring change. if she fails... well, then she doesn't know what she'll do.
