don't worry, guys, there's nothing boring about this one. she's certainly not the regular bland, sweet selected you get so often. elodie is made of sugar, spice, and... well, i don't know about everything nice. she's a bit of a wild card, you know? she proudly marches to the beat of her own drum and does basically whatever she wants. elodie is the type of girl who is loud and proud. when you first meet her, you'll immediately notice the mischievous look in her eye and the way her smile is slightly twisted into a smirk. she's trouble from the very start. elodie will start off polite and sweet. it's not like she was never taught manners. it's just that her personality shines through everything she does. she can't be perfectly posh without mocking it a bit. she can't have a conversation without making subtle jokes and teases. it's just who she is. elodie is an adventurer. she never intends to get into any sort of trouble, but it always seems to find her. actually, that's a complete and utter lie. el definitely goes looking for trouble often. she breaks rules, she goes where she's not supposed to, she does the unexpected. that's just her. while i've made elodie sound like just a rebellious wild card, there's a bit more to the girl. it takes a while to get past all her different layers, but once you do you'll see that she does genuinely care for someone. the minute she feels like she can trust somebody, they become one of her 'people'. if you're one of elodie's 'people', she'll do anything for you. she's loyal beyond belief once you get to a certain point with her. in conclusion: elodie can't really be predicted. literally the only thing you can predict about her is that she's trouble. you could call her a nightmare dressed like a daydream...

❥ SEWING/DESIGN — yes, that is one cliché elodie fulfills. her passion, her dream, it all involves fashion and design. she can make a killer ballgown or the best damn pantsuit you've ever seen. she's been designing and creating since she was a little girl.

❥ SURFING — yes, elodie is also a beach babe. she's a gorgeous blonde, how could she not be? yeah, yeah, stereotype. i don't care. elodie has always lived near the coast and loved every minute of it.

❥ READING — who doesn't like reading? elodie loves everything from cheesy romance novels, old classics, and fantasy. although she doesn't have much free time to lay around and read a book, but when she can, she does.

❥ RUNNING — although sometimes it sucks ass, running keeps elodie in shape and helps her clear her head when life is at its most stressful.

❥ BAKING — yeah, elodie uses box mixes and makes the simplest of creations, but it still counts. her brownies are to die for. it isn't her recipe, but she'll lie her ass off and say it is.

❥ PARTYING — i feel like this one explains itself. large crowds, blasting music, cheap booze. that's definitely all elodie's style.

❥ ADVENTURE — this one's hard to explain because it's always different. like i said, elodie knows how to get herself in quite a bit of trouble. and she loves it. she's always looking for new ways to get a bit of adrenaline and a good story.

❥ DESIGN — yes, a hobby and a skill. she's amazing at it, and definitely not humble. she has a very small career starting, but she has big dreams for how much it will grow.

❥ INTELLIGENCE — the one stereotype elodie does not fulfill is the dumb blonde. no, she's actually quite clever, though she tends to hide it. she loves people underestimating her so she can prove them wrong and surprise them.

i know it's not required, but i love writing backstories so you can get the completed picture of my oc's life !! elodie was born on a summer night in a small town on the coast of the country to two loving parents. she has two older sisters: jessica and alex. she loves them both more than anything. as stated, elodie lived in a small town on the coast, so she lived right next to the beach. she's definitely a beach babe at heart. she grew up wandering around the streets and on the beach having plenty of freedom. it was magnificent. she and her two older sisters got into plenty of trouble around their town and had more adventures than you could count. from a young age, elodie had always known she wanted to be a designer. by her teenage years, she made most of her own clothes and plenty for her sisters. she absolutely loved all things fashion. when el was eighteen, she moved out of her house into a little apartment still close to the beach. she eventually was able to get a job interning for a popular designer in town who she hoped would help jumpstart her career. of course, elodie still has to pay the bills so she works as a bartender at night. yeah, it's a bit of a crazy life. bartending, designing, parties, adventures. that's all just the usual for elodie. she absolutely loves how crazy her life is. she wouldn't trade it for anything. for her, the selection is just another adventure. she can't wait to get to the palace and shake things up.
