44: Kunugigaoka Culture Festival

Things weren't a challenge anymore if some folks in class 2-A were too famous already. And those included Arina, Ami, Sae, Asano, and his minions. Social networking was a big thing and just a beckon from one of these students can already attract countless customers to their class' business in the school festival; so what was it that they had to try hard to compete with other classes?

As a result, this year's festival was merely for fun, but in Asano's eyes, it was simply uninteresting and no fun at all without competition.

"I think you should enjoy every aspect of life, Asano-kun. There's ever so much fun in being ambitious but there will be no happy day if you don't feel at least content once in your lifetime. Perhaps I could help you feel relaxed and content for a while, Asano-kun. It's a rare opportunity indeed. What do you say?"

Asano, who had to cover half his face to hide the sudden rose of pinkish complexion, agreed to Arina's offer to hang out with her at the school festival.

But again, since their life revolved around too many people, they were unable to hang out without at least Asano's minions.

A music concert of their band's performance would have gained a huge profit and Asano with his competitive nature, of course, had considered it, until Arina barged in and suggested doing something else different yet unique.

"Life is short and multiple experiences are left unexplored. If we stick around doing the exact same thing, then I dare say we will be missed out on a whole lot of opportunities and experiences. There's always a thrill to explore new things and I'm all for it, even if it might be risky. But you will never know if you will succeed if you aren't up for the risk."

Ever since his heart belonged to her, whatever Arina says goes for Asano. And that love and spoiling he spared for the overly creative girl eventually led class 2-A to run a big art gallery event. Why art though? Some may ask. It's because Arina thought nothing was comparable to expressing oneself through art, as it was simply romantic, whether it was through literature art, the artistic sport of figure skating, or music, now it was the turn for paintings, and she was craving to explore this form. (A/n: actually, it's because the author is a painter with a big dream ;))

Arina and Asano sat down for a discussion to sort things out with this idea. The goal was to gain at least ten million yen in profit for this event. Asano suggested pouring five million yen to invest in this project. Extracting two million to rent four famous paintings from Europe, etc. The rest he will rent from his popular artist friends as a sort of investment for them (See? That's why social networking is extremely important). Arina, Seo, Teppei, Ren, and Koyama again had to gasp at Asano's professionalism at this age.

Since marketing was crucial, Asano intended to go all out with it. He spent approximately one million and a half on it. He hired news, paid to go on TV before and during the duration of the event, KOL, advertised on social media, and called a significant amount of people to boast about the event on all platforms. Another method he cleverly used was to abuse his network with the art investors to come and buy the paintings his fellow artists sent to him; by that, he could indirectly PR the artworks for them, thus, attracting more attendees.

The rest of a million and a half yen will go to investing in the event. Since he was the almighty Asano Gakushuu -- too bright, too perfect, he signed a contract with a restaurant (Same with the next year) and they sponsored him with their food and drink for seeing his potential for this big event. As a result, he didn't need to worry about the cost of food and proceeded to move to other things. One million and ten thousand yen was thrown into organizing the event: art conference, art fair with merch from private artist friends, art show, signatures of artists, auction, selling merch, display, and since hiring employees wasn't required because this was a class's project, Asano can save up some amount. The rest of the four hundred thousand yen will be spared for building facilities and decorations.

So what will be the revenue? Asano gathered his minio-- classmates altogether to discuss this. The fee for the entrance ticket will be up to five thousand yen for outsiders since he aimed for this event globally. Meanwhile, for teenage students, the fee will be five hundred yen for a normal ticket. And a thousand yen for a special ticket. For a normal ticket, you can enter the event only once, and if you leave and want to reenter you will have to buy another. But with a special ticket, you can reenter as many times as you like, and it will include all the fees for the art fair, food, and drink, thus it makes sense to buy a special ticket.

Also, the revenue from the auction will be something very profitable, considering Asano did a calculation, if people manage to make a bid for five hundred items then he will gain a significant profit of thirty percent of his revenue. Not to mention the money they will get from selling merch and copies. You can see that Asano wasn't aiming for the area of his school since there was no reason to compete with other classes, he was aiming for global attraction. And that brought him to extend the duration of the event. Instead of just for days, he will extend it to two weeks. Now you knew why he chose to build an open art fair so that when the school culture festival ended he can move the event to another location and continue with his business. By then he will start to hire employees to run the event.

After hearing his business strategy, Arina, who had given him the idea, was awestruck and sweatdropped by how this guy never know how to feel content and relaxed.

But it was delightful to have such ambitions! As Arina thought and smiled to herself. She was glad to be around an ambitious friend and learn a lot from him since it opened a whole lot of new experiences for her to explore and gain a better knowledge of the world.

"I have made up my mind that you're the perfect person I'd LOVE to be around, Asano-kun. To live a meaningful life there ought to be adventures! And I'm the most adventurous person when I'm with you! There are just ever so many things and ideas to explore in execution and you're so good with them," confided Arina, as Asano smiled and patted her head.

"Keep up with that attitude -- there will be a long journey of things I will teach you in the future," he said in pride.

On the first day of the culture festival, as predicted, countless 'ONE' fans, investors, idol and singer friends, and all the other Asano's wide social network friends lined up to enter class 2-A's art event. Although there hadn't been that many people from the art world attend on the first day, the profit made by the students and all the others was impressive enough.

"It seems like Asano's plan really works," gaped Teppei in awe. Seo snapped at him telling, 'Of course it does! He's our trustworthy leader after all!'.

Besides class 2-A, you may wonder what about the other classes. Class 2-B of Shindo the baseball guy ran a haunted house. Class 2-C of Seo's bitchy girlfriend ran a fashion show, and class 2-D of Shiota Nagisa ran a maid cafe (poor Nagisa being the target for this...). Oh, and class 3-E this year ran a wrestling show that nobody besides Arina ever paid any attention to.

Even though Asano was extremely busy organizing the festival being the president of the student council and running his class's project, he somehow still tried his best to carve out some spare time to hang out with Arina as promised.

"Seo is hanging out with his girlfriend, so as Ren with how many? I can't recall it. Mei-chan too, she's quite obsessed with her boyfriend I must say. Teppei finally men up and is willing to ask Ami-chan out, so I guess it's just me, you, and Koyama now," said Arina to Asano.

Asano leered his eyes at Koyama. Poor guy, having no other students to hang out with for his weird personality and hideous look, and now even Asano was thinking how to get rid of him too. He was fine if they travel in a large group, but with only three people he would rather be alone with Arina.

But it seemed like Asano had picked the wrong person to have a crush on. Again, whatever blabbed out of Arina's mouth was never trustworthy. Although she had wise thoughts, she was still a childish girl in her behavior. As soon as she saw Kasuga Ken also attending the festival, her heart skipped, her eyes lightened up, and seemingly forgot about the true love thing.

"Oh, oh my! Asano-kun, Koyama! It's my opportunity, isn't it?" gasped Arina, jumping up and down in a whirl of excitement. "I imagined a great deal about today but I didn't include Kasuga Ken in it. Isn't it just fantastic that he's here? Why is he here then? Do you suppose it's because of me? If it's indeed because of me I'll flee to him right now and ask whether he could hang out with me. What do you say?"

"You're not going anywhere!" Asano blurted out absent-mindedly in an angry tone. But as soon as he realized what just said, he quickly covered his mouth and cleared his throat.

"It's not likely that he's here for you. You're too self-centered, Arina. (A/n: said who??🙄) Considering my network is huge and so is our school's fame, I can see why many famous people are attending, not to mention our global project."

"Nishishishi, Asano-kun is right. You're too self-centered, Arina," Koyama joined Asano's side, lifting his glasses.

"Even if so, then it's still worth it to ask Kasuga out, doesn't it? Living life to the fullest is to take risks, and this will be the risk I will be taking," smiled Arina confidently.

"You have no dignity," declared Asano whilst furrowing his eyebrows, crossing his arms. "To value your self-worth you should draw others to you, in other words, to make them submit to you and ask you out themself. How desperate one must be to lose dignity like that?"

"WHY can't you support your friend, Asano-kun?" said Arina dolefully. "If you value dignity that much then you're not as fun of a person and there will be ever less chance for you, which is true, Asano-kun. I'll ask Kasuga out and will be right back to hang out with you both, two of my LOVELIEST friends later!"

She pulled the guys into a hug which startled them both and looked up to see their expressions.

"Aren't you going to wish me good luck?" smiled Arina brightly, as it caused Asano to blush a little.

"Whatever, do as you like," he said bitterly, having his expression darkened. On the other hand, Koyama wished her well with a 'nishishishi'.

Meanwhile, as opposed to Arina's confident nature, Teppei wasn't doing so well in trying to ask Ami out for his shyness. He had been vlogging the festival with Ami being included in every shot but hadn't gathered enough courage to step close to her.

Mizuno Ami Peterson was joking around with her guy friends like usual, lining up at class 3-D which was to feature a drama performance.

Teppei braced himself up desperately and approached her.

"U-Um...hi, Ami...uh..." Teppei nervously watched the tomboy girl halt her laugh and delivered her curious gaze to him, as well as her other guy friends.

"Well, uh...can-can you..." upon being too nervous, Teppei accidentally shifted the entire point of his approach, "Can you offer me your place in line...?"

"Hah!?" one of Ami's guy friends spat in disbelief. "Go and line up from the start, Araki. Don't be an assh*le."

And from that point, Teppei had no choice but to go with the flow since he messed things up by that reckless line.

'How will Ami perceive me after this?' he sobbed to himself while lining up at the bottom, waiting to see a drama performance he didn't want to see. At least Ami was also there to see it though.

"No, Ren~ I wanna go to class 2-D's maid cafe," whined a chick from Ren's harem who he called number one, tugging on his sleeve.

"Shut up, going to class 2-B's haunted house is way more exciting,"  said a chick Ren called number two, pushing number one out of the sight.

"NO! they're selling manga and goods in class 1-B and I can't miss out on that!" number three barged in. "Please come with me, Ren-kun, it'll be fun~"

"Hey, how about we visit the E-scums and destroy whatever sh*tty thing they're doing," laughed number four scornfully. "That'd SURELY be fun."

The other girls united and laughed synchronically.

"Well, ladies~ all of those are great ideas. I'm sure we could manage all of that," announced Ren, flipping his hair as imaginary sparkles came out of it.

Thus he and his harem went to class 2-D's maid cafe first. There they were greeted by the so-called 'gay couple'. It seemed like class 2-D was indeed adventurous when they managed to cause Ren (not just him though) to almost throw up out of disgust for witnessing the boys in that class dressed up in not just lolita dresses but nurses' costumes, Chinese Qipao dresses, and lingeries...

"Welcome home, master, and mistresses!" said Tanaka the fat guy, who dressed up as a nurse.

"Come grab a seat!" said Takada the thin guy, whose outfit was one of the most disgusting things Ren had ever witnessed in his life -- a red lingerie. Why was this even appropriate within school though? as he questioned.

But surely the controversy had become extremely successful at beckoning countless customers to their cafe. One couldn't argue that class 2-D was actually smart when they knew how to take advantage of it.

Ren and his harem sat down at a table as a miserable blue-haired boy showed up to serve them in a lolita outfit, holding a menu.

"Today, I'll be serving you some special moe, so I hope you'll get your moe charge for the day..." said Nagisa resignedly, forming a heart with his hands. Ren even thought he was a girl and proceeded to play around with him.

"Please don't touch me, master," sweatdropped Nagisa. "I'm a boy after all..."

Ren lowkey dusted his hands. His harem took turns ordering food and drinks without limit since they knew they could exploit Ren for he was filthy rich.

"Over here is Furi Furi Shaka Shaka Mixed Joosh. While chanting the moe moe spell, we will shake the shaker," Nagisa was too devoted to his role now that everyone might think he was the best maid their cafe had.

"Furi Furi, Shaka Shaka! Let's all chant together!" said Nagisa bubbly.

"Furi Furi, Shaka Shaka!" chanted the harem girls in excitement.

"Moe Moe!" added Nagisa.

"Moe Moe!" they repeated.

Little did Nagisa know a certain redhead sitting behind them was grinning broadly while filming this with the presence of his devil horns and tail.

"Go, Nagisa-kun~" he called.

"Karma-kun!?!" gasped Nagisa, swiveling his head around to confirm the redhead devil was there. But the most shocking part was that Matsuda Hakaku also accompanied Karma.

"This is a good business strategy actually," admitted Matsuda. "My class, which is class 3-A is running a demonstration about A.V. but people keep confusing it to 'that thing' for god's sake!"

"But isn't that a good thing~?" said Karma. "Like who would even bother to listen to an A.V. demonstration unless they confuse it with 'that thing' at first?"

Just then, a guy who radiated bullies vibe appeared in front of them both in his lingerie costume, ready to serve his masters.

"We-Welcome home, my ma-masters..." Terasaka struggled to immerse himself in his role as opposed to Nagisa. (A/n: I know there are properly more future class E's students in these classes but I couldn't include all of them so I will just include a few important students haha)

'Just how far these underclassmen go...' sweatdropped Matsuda, rather disappointed at his class's project this year despite being named the best class in grade. In the meantime, Karma went all out on the menu to exploit him.

Class 2-C was preparing their models backstage to ready for the fashion show. During then, Seo was bothered by how his girlfriend -- Tsuchiya Kaho -- kept questioning him whether he thinks she or Kanzaki Yukiko was prettier.

"Haven't I told you a million times already that you're prettier!?!" snapped Seo exasperatedly.

"You're LYING!! I know you ARE!" cried Kaho in a bitchy manner. Seo immediately covered his ears.

"Fine! If you think she's prettier than me then you might as well date her instead. I will show the world how stunning I am in the show and I bet there are plenty of guys who will want to have me!"

Actually, it was all an excuse for Kaho's boredom with Seo recently since she couldn't have a harem of guys, unlike Ren, considering society won't accept females who have multiple partners. So she was thinking of getting rid of him for a while instead.

"Wh-What are you saying, Kaho!?" mourned Seo in disbelief. "Why can't you trust me for once!?! He-Hey, where are you going!?"

At the end of the day, Seo had to sit through the fashion show alone, watching other guys chanting his girlfriend's name while she blew them kisses.

"You're a thousand times more beautiful than any of these girls, my Mei," said Mei's boyfriend softly, making his first appearance in the audience, holding Mei in his arm.

"Stop it~ You're embarrassing me," giggled Mei, giving her boyfriend a loving french kiss, making Seo who was standing near grossed out by their cheesy PDA.

But oh boy did the audience not expect to see such beauty; they were quick to go viral as soon as Kanzaki Yukiko stepped out from backstage. She was garbed in an angelic white, silky dress with angel wings attached to her back. Yano Takaaki in the crowd was too aroused that his nose began to bleed, taking multiple photos of her.

And when Kaho saw that the audience cheered louder for Kanzaki than for her, of course she had to be angry right? The bitchy girl just had to ruin Kanzaki's career for she couldn't stand anyone better than her.

"Guys! That's my crush!!" declared Sugino proudly to his friends, but what followed after was shocking enough. Kanzaki fell on stage while tripping on Kaho's feet.

"Oops! I didn't see you, sorry!" gasped Kaho wide-eyed, pretending to be guilty. And how annoying to see that this bitch still got plenty of invitations from male students afterward.

Back to Arina. She managed to convince Kasuga Ken to go to class 2-B's haunted house with her, as she secretly smirked in satisfaction.

'Everything will go just as I planned,' she thought. 'I WON'T get scared. I know too well, it's silly -- and unnecessary to get scared of things that are purposely made to scare people. Though there will be no result if I won't get scared. Why am I so brave? I would never in my life consider blaming my bravery until this day. But there's no help in it if I'm too brave, hasn't it? Oh, how I wish I wasn't this brave, but the best of it is that I can act as if I do. I will act as if I was genuinely scared, and Kasuga-senpai will hold me in his arms, telling me how he'll protect me. OH! Just how nice it is to imagine things, but it will be even nicer if imaginations were to step out of their shells and to the tangible world. Dear Kasuga-senpai, you ought to corporate with me on this, will you?'

As they waited for a group of students to come out of the haunted house, commenting on it stuff like, 'This is pure boring. There's nothing scary about it,' Arina just had to further confirm that it will be harder to act scared.

"How are you feeling right now?" asked Kasuga Ken gently. Arina instantly followed her plot and said:

"I would say that I'm not AT ALL brave, senpai! My anxiety is hitting me hard right now but I swear you're the safest person I feel when being around with. Oh, how I lo-- I mean, how I aspire to be like you, senpai. Please hold me in your arms if I ever go overboard with my anxiety, I'd gladly take it."

Again, readers, you must know that whatever Arina spoke or even thought to herself wasn't trustworthy at all. Just as when she stepped into the haunted house with Kasuga Ken, she immediately felt like she mayn't even need to act out her plot.

"O-oh, Why -- why it's so dark and cold in here?" faltered Arina, gasping at the creepiness of her surrounding. For a split second she even forgot Kasuga was also there with her.

"Do-Don't worry, Arina. The ghosts are all fake," he reassured. Was it just her or did Kasuga just splutter?

Without knowing, Arina began to tear up uncontrollably. She WAS genuinely scared, and the terrifying background sound they put on only made it worse.

'And here I thought I'm SO brave. Kasuga Ken means nothing if my pathetic nature couldn't be saved. Oh, Arina, you silly girl for getting scared at such a thing,' she brutally slapped herself in the face.

But at least she needn't act anymore, but was her plan going according to how she imagined? No. Despite knowing Arina was tearing up out of fear, Kasuga didn't even do anything but froze in one place. Why was that then?

Arina soon got the answer when almost halfway into the haunted house, a cold hand suddenly reached out and grabbed her ankle! And when she looked down, a terrifying face of a ghost lit up in both her and Kasuga's sight.

"AAAAAAAAAAaaaaAAAAAaaAhhhhhhh!!" a loud shriek was heard even from the outside.

"It's really that scary?" asked number three from Ren's harem, while they were waiting for their group's turn.

"Don't worry ladies~ As long as you have me with you there's nothing to be afraid about," chirped Ren.

Only if Kasuga was like Ren...the group had their jaw dropped at the unfathomable scene of a small-looking girl dashing out of the haunted house whilst carrying the scaredy-cat celebrity guy on her back to escape all the fake ghosts behind them.

After saving him, Arina dropped her crush to the floor in a series of disappointments and he shamelessly burst into two fat tears for the following minutes and even surpassed her with the number of tears counted. The nearby students couldn't help but pulled out their phones to film this disgraceful moment.

"Damn, our haunted house would blow up for sure," sniggered Nakamura Rio, being one of the first to record the scene.

And it was at this moment that Arina questioned herself as to why she didn't feel like Kasuga Ken was half as attractive anymore.

After witnessing the celebrity guy's dramatic reaction to experiencing the haunted house, Ren's group was moved by curiosity and entered the haunted house almost immediately.

And how successful Shindo's role was when he kept scaring people on his part. As soon as he grabbed one of the girl's ankles she gave out a loud screech, which eventually led to a chaotic mess within the group since they were too crowded within a cramped space.

What happened after that was still unknown but it was clear that Ren couldn't protect all of them, and they ended up getting lost.

"Ha-Have you seen Ren?" breathed number one heavily from just making her way out of the dark haunted house.

"No? I thought he was with you all!" said number three.

"No, he didn't!" clarified number two.

"Should we call him then?" suggested number four.

"Yeah, do it."

Unfortunately, after a few attempts at calling Ren still hadn't picked up his phone. What was going on?

"We shall go find him then," announced number one.

***

Never would Nagasawa Juria imagine becoming friends with Shirayuki Sae. But after the Bali trip, they grew closer and eventually Sae was a new place for Juria to go to whenever she felt like there was no one there for her.

"I had made a decision, Shirayuki. I reckon that Asano-kun may not be the right one for me...We're just too different. But at least I'm willing to give up on someone, not like those two shameless bitches. Just how cheap are they!" confided Juria, gnawing on her ice cream spoon.

They were sitting in class 2-D's cafe since it was overly popular and they just had to try it out. Their ice cream was the best seller, as Fueguchi had brought his whole family business into this project. And guess who was also there, sitting next to their table? Of course those were Sejiro the thick-bread guy and Iori the femboy. You can practically find them everywhere their goddess Juria was present.

"Ughh, why don't you say anything, Shirayuki!?" complained Juria.

"I'm thinking about the revenge for you, Juria. Why don't you feel at least grateful?" said Sae gloomily, as Juria's eyes sparkled.

"Oh yes! I'm very grateful to have you by my side, Shirayuki! Together we shall be a great team! Let's destroy those bitches together!" she exclaimed in enthusiasm.

"But my plan is not yet finished -- I need more time to think about this," said Sae.

"Okay!" agreed Juria, smiling ecstatically. But how unfortunate for her that she had to wait for another ten years before Sae finished planning so they could go into action.

"She is as beautiful as ever," sighed Sejiro deeply, gazing into Juria's visually pleasing face through the menu. Iori agreed with him.

"We're so lucky to live in the same era as our goddess, or else I might go crazy," admitted Iori.

"Wait, is that Sakakibara? Why is he approaching her?" queried Sejiro, shooting his eyes wide open in alarm.

Both he and Iori went nervous. They HATED Ren to death. He dared to disrespect their goddess and crossed her boundary; how could they forgive him for such sins!? But the thing was that they were unable to speak up to him, considering he was friends with the almighty Asano Gakushuu.

Apparently what happened was that Ren forgot to carry his phone with him, so he couldn't call the girls and couldn't pick up the phone either. Thus he chose to ignore them and went to find other girls to play with and was glad that he found Juria, though for Sae not too much.

"Hi ladies~ May I join you for ice cream?" he asked unashamedly. The flirty vibe from him was always obvious.

But to his disappointment, those girls couldn't care less but shooed him away.

"I will pay for you ladies, so please," begged Ren, but he could do that for an eternity and Juria and Sae would still not consider letting him close to them.

During that scene, Koyama had been watching them. He was sitting alone at a table and eating alone, seemingly having no energy reserved left to let out a 'nishishishi' like usual, but instead, a sigh.

Besides Arina, Asano only cared about his business and left him to hang out alone to focus on running the event and meeting important figures. Koyama, however, had always craved a day when he could relax instead of being pressured too much into studying and career. But now without any company, all he did was memorize the whole menu.

Fortunate arrived at him when on the way back to his class's art fair to join up with Asano since he had nothing interesting to do, he accidentally bumped into Ren's harem.

"Hey! Are you from the Big Five? If so then I expect you to be close to Ren-kun, aren't you? Then can you please tell us if you know where he is or if not then can you try contacting him for us?" asked the number three girl.

Koyama's face brightened up, and so was his infamous smile.

"Nishishishi, I remember where he is! Come on, follow me!" he said.

***

Asano was negotiating with some investors in his art fair when the most bewildering scenario occurred. A WHOLE gang of high school delinquents visited them out of nowhere! And it caused the K-squad members who were secretly peeking at Asano to wonder whether he had gotten himself into some matters with the delinquents or not.

"Yo! Strawberry blonde boy! You're Big Sis's bandmate, isn't it? Do you have any idea where she is now?"

Asano froze for a moment and scanned them one by one. Aren't they the delinquents in Arina's live stream a while ago?

He excused the investors and led the gang of delinquents away for a talk. To satisfy his curious nature, Asano proceeded to ask them tons of questions related to Arina's relationship with them and how she managed to make them recognize her as a leader.

"She's a great leader indeed," said Ryuuki. "I must admit I still feel remorse for betraying Big Sis, but the best of it is that she never hates me for it. She saved me and even some of Hisashi gang's members from a burning building and I've never admired someone so much in my entire life. To hate on someone is easy but to forgive is so hard in my opinion. Who wouldn't want a leader who loves them with all her heart and will protect you no matter what?"

After hearing their confessions, Asano felt like he wouldn't regret falling for Arina any time soon. He wholeheartedly agreed with Arina's leadership style seeing how well the result turned out.

"Because you have paid to be here, might as well enjoy the event," said Asano solemnly, smiling. "I will call your Big Sis over here soon -- she had had too much fun already. It's undutiful to neglect the business idea she had come up with."

***

Ren's harem was surprised at how Koyama knew all of their names, ranking, and addresses. Wasn't that creepy? But why was it moved those girls so much?

"Ren-kun doesn't even call us by our names," gasped number three in shock.

"I bet he doesn't remember our names, that's why," said number two in realization.

"If we are one, two, three, four, then there must be up to a hundred I believe," number four joined in, "considering he dated almost everyone in our school. And I bet he does that even outside of school."

"So that's why he can't remember our names! He doesn't even BOTHER about it!" exclaimed number one.

"That's right. He dated every girl he encounter, nishishishi," Koyama revealed the shocking truth, making the girls gasp furthermore.

"Then girls, I don't see the reason why we should find him anymore," number four halted her steps and declared. "It's pathetic to chase after a guy who takes us for granted."

For a moment those girls stopped completely and contemplated their self-worth. Number four was right -- Ren didn't even pick up his phone. Why would he anyway? Since he didn't need to stick to a certain group of girls all the time, he had plenty of others to play with.

"Let's hang out with us then, Koyama~" offered number one. Koyama was startled when she locked her arm with his and blushed heavily.

"That's right! Let's go, Koyama-kun~" the other girls joined in.

'Is this heaven? Am I dreaming?' thought Koyama. Did he just manage to steal Ren's girls? Never had anyone besides the Big Five feat. Arina pay attention to him, but now? Oh, this sure felt like a dream come true.

And so despite Koyama having to pay for all the girls' fees and being exploited by having to hand them his study notes, he still felt like this was the happiest day of his life.

Teppei became a wallflower in his crush's friends group; Seo got cheated on by his girlfriend without knowing; Ren got rejected by Juria all the time regardless of his efforts; and how about Asano and Arina's case? Let's find out.

"My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Kasuga-senpai IS a coward, Asano-kun! How disappointing it must've felt when someone you have always daydreamed about and made up their persona in your head turns out to be a coward," mourned Arina dolefully.

Upon listening to her experience, her gang laughed their asses out. Meanwhile, Asano was lowkey smirking. His rival had been eliminated without him even trying.

"That's it for always setting unrealistic expectations, Arina. That's your lesson. Now, go and fill up your responsibility for our class's project."

"Oh, what a pity. I'm about to take you and my gang on an adventure, you know," smiled Arina.

"What adventure, Big Sis!?!" the gang exclaimed altogether in utter excitement.

"An adventure to class 3-E's project!!" she announced happily. Asano shot his eyes wide open and went 'What!?' but was completely overshadowed by the gang's 'HOORAY!'

"No. I do not approve of this," he declared in an imposing voice, crossing his arms.

"Then goodbye, Asano-kun! I will be taking my comrade brothers on an adventure -- they deserve it, ain't they? My beloved brothers."

"Big Sis for the best!!" her gang cheered. Asano formed a sort of expression that screamed, 'Seriously!?'

"Hey, Arina big sis! Take me with you too!"

Asano shuddered at the familiar voice and whirled around to confirm who that was. It was the now fit kid, Urishiyama Naruto, and his dad!!

"Oh, my girl Arina! It's such an honor to meet you!" Naruto's dad said, spreading his arms out, and didn't hold back but pulled Arina into a tight embrace upon their first meeting. The tightness of his embrace indicated how much gratitude he had for her, causing Arina to gasp for air, almost dying a comedic death.

"Words can not express how grateful I am for you to transform my son so effectively. If you like, I can buy you a villa. What do you say?"

"That's too much, uncle!" said Arina wide-eyed.

"Oh my god! I have been looking for you everywhere, Arina Avenira!" said Hidaka Mami -- the famous figure skating girl -- popped out of nowhere. "I didn't have the chance to ask for your signature the last time! Can I have it now please! You're beyond talented and I admire you so much!"

Not just her, after 'ONE' fans heard about the cultural festival they just had to seize the opportunity to meet their idols. The band especially had a ginormous amount of fanboys, who all were Arina's only fans. And you can guess what happened -- the place was quick to fill up with those fanboys desperately asked to have their photos taken with her and her signatures.

Arina being inside the art fair was a good business strategy indeed. Although they gained a huge amount of profit from it, Asano couldn't help but felt his blood boil out of jealousy. Why was she so loved? What was her secret? He thought he was also loved by everyone but it seemed like Arina beat him by a mile in this aspect.

Eventually, Arina's beloved followers all followed her on an adventure of visiting class 3-E's project, making Asano go wild. This would mean that class E will gain profit from it! What was she thinking!? Did she want to destroy his father's education principle on purpose!?

Asano couldn't help it but had to betake himself to class 3-E's building too. Of course he wouldn't pay to enter whatever sh*tty show class E was running. But just watching a bunch of people lining up after Arina to enter the show made him anxious as ever.

He immediately came up with different scenarios in his head. What if his father found out about Arina's deplorable behavior and punish her for it? He sweated and thought of every single solution and pretext to defend her in case it might happen.

He had tried to approach her and confront her about it, but Arina was too reckless to his exasperation and ignored his warning. Furthermore, she was backed up by a huge army behind her and there was nothing Asano could've done about it.

Reckless she did and took it to another level. After Arina volunteered at the wrestling show and lost against the hyper-masculine Baba with the cheers of class E and especially Neko, along with Arina's supporters' mourning, especially her gang, Asano saw them come out of the building and Arina was forced to climb up class E's building's roof.

'What's going on?' Asano furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He approached some of them and asked what was the situation.

"Ahh, Big Sis lost a bet," said Japana, smiling broadly. "But I'm SURE she could handle it! She's our Big Sis after all."

"What bet it is about?" questioned Asano further.

"If Arina big sis loses the wrestling -- which she already did -- then she will have to climb up there and walk the ridgepole of this building's roof! She's a noble person so I expect her to not back away, isn't it, Gakushuu big bro?" said Naruto in excitement.

Asano went speechless for a moment, but then the consequence Arina will have to face hit him and thus he shouted angrily:

"What has gotten to all your minds to approve such a reckless bet!?!"

Without waiting for any response, he immediately barged into the scene and shoved everyone aside, then finally reached Arina and confronted her about it.

"DO. NOT. DO. IT! Do you hear me!?" entreated Asano. "You'll fall off and be killed. Never mind these stupid, low-life people. It isn't smart to take on such a dangerous bet."

"I must do it. As they are my admirers, my honor is at stake," said Arina solemnly. "I shall walk that ridgepole, Asano-kun, or perish in the attempt. If I am killed you are to have my diary."

Asano clasped his forehead in helplessness, watching Arina climb the ladder to the roof amid breathless silence, gained the ridgepole, balanced herself uprightly on that precarious footing, and started to walk along it, dizzily conscious that she was uncomfortably high up the world and that walking ridgepoles was not a thing in which your imagination helped you out much. Nevertheless, she managed to take several steps before the catastrophe came...

Just as Asano predicted, she swayed, lost her balance, stumbled, staggered, and fell, sliding down over the roof and crashing off it along with her 'AAAaAAAaaaaAh!'-- all before the dismayed crowd below could give a simultaneous, terrified shriek.

If Arina had tumbled off the roof on the side which she had ascended Asano would probably have fallen heir to her diary right then and there and will have had to explain to everyone the details of her comedic death. Fortunately she fell on the other side, where the roof extended down over the porch so nearly to the ground that a fall was a much less serious thing. Nevertheless, Asano and everyone had rushed frantically to her. She was found lying all miserable and limp on the hard ground.

"Arina, are you killed!?" shrieked Asano, throwing himself on his knees beside his beloved (tho utterly stupid) crush. "I'm begging you! Please answer me and tell me if you're killed."

To the immense relief of everyone, and especially of 'Blade the Scarlet Knight', who had as much imagination as Arina did, seized with horrible visions of a dark future branded as the knight who was responsible for princess Adeliya of the White Kingdom's early and tragic death, since he was the one to suggest her to walk the world, Arina sat dizzily up and answered uncertainly:

"No, Asano-kun, I am not killed, but I think I am rendered unconscious."

"Where!?" sobbed Ryuuki, barging into the scene. "Oh, where, Big Sis?"

Before Arina could answer Asano took a hold of her body and lifted her up.

"Where have you hurt yourself?" he demanded.

"My ankle," gasped Arina. "Oh, Asano-kun, I think I might be too adventurous for my own good. But don't be very frightened, it's only an ankle sprained after all, though I couldn't help worried that my neck had broken too. Let us look on the bright side of things."

"I should've used physical force to stop you," said Asano, wincing. "You can only benefit from taking risks if you have a good vision. I will carry you to the infirmary. Mercy me, she has gone and fainted!"

It was quite true. Overcome by the pain of her injury, Arina had one more of her wishes granted to her. She had fainted dead away.

Everyone in class 2-A (except for Morikawa and Tanaka), including Nagisa, Karma, and Matsuda hastily summoned from having fun at the festival to the school's infirmary to discover the injury was more serious than they had supposed. Arina's ankle was broken and thus had to be treated at a hospital.

"I've lost count of times being here," sighed Arina on that night, when Asano was the only one who devotedly stayed with her overnight despite his father's disapproval.

"Aren't you very sorry for me, Asano-kun?"

"It was your own fault," said Asano stiffly, working on his laptop beside her bed.

"And that is just why you should be sorry for me," said Arina, "because the thought that it is all my own fault is what makes it so hard. If I could blame it on anybody I would feel so much better. But what would you have done, Asano-kun, if you lost a bet and had to walk a ridgepole to not embarrass yourself in front of your supporters?"

"I'd have disapproved of the stupid bet from the beginning. Such absurdity!" said Asano.

Arina sighed.

"But you have no potential for fun at all, Asano-kun. I haven't. I know too well that taking risks is as fun as looking forward to things. But I think that I should've held back too like you said if it isn't a good fit for a good vision. And I think I have been punished so much that you needn't be very cross with me, Asano-kun. It's not a bit nice to faint, after all. The doctor told me I won't be able to go around for six or seven weeks and I'll definitely have to sit in a wheelchair until it was over. Will you help me go explore the world in a wheelchair, Asano-kun? It's indeed a refreshing experience if you look on the bright side. Though it might be difficult to hang around the festival for there are too crowded."

"You will have to stick with me until the end and run the business then," he declared. "Don't you wanna have as much profit as possible and go wild with your donations?"

"Oh yes, Asano-kun! I would love to!" said Arina. "But then it's the end of my fun adventure at the Kunugigaoka's culture festival only on day one. How I will miss it. But nevertheless everyone will be having fun until the last day and that put a smile on my face."

Days after and when the festival had ended with class 2-A (obviously) coming first in profit, followed by class 2-D, and finally class 2-B (this year is dominated by second-year classes haha) Arina still had to explore the world in a wheelchair.

"I followed Ami's friend's group until the end and it was exhausting," sighed Teppei, who everyone looked down upon for his lack of confidence.

"For some reason that Kaho was busy all the time! I wonder what she was up to," said Seo. The others sweatdropped knowing what was going on but felt the urge to hide the truth from him.

"And how I caught Koyama stealing my girls is way beyond my imagination," said Ren in a sense of bitterness, pinching his hair, followed by a 'Nishishishi' from Koyama and eventually an 'Ehhh!?!' from everyone.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" gasped Seo. "You're kidding right!?"

"You're underestimating Koyama too much, Seo," smiled Arina, in her wheelchair. "I'm genuinely happy for him."

"And I shouldn't have underestimated your recklessness, Arina," returned Seo. "You deserve it so much that I laughed whenever I recall the incident. But I'm afraid that one day Kame's prophecy may come true and that you're seriously gonna die if you keep on being like this."

"Oh, well, you're probably right," agreed Arina tranquilly. "From now on I shall have a good vision for things first before jumping in and taking risks. I think that's the main difference between Asano-kun and me, ain't it Asano-kun? Because of your meticulous planning we have taken the right risk and profited so much from it. How much did the money we made go to charity again?"

"Thirty percent went to our artist investors and the rest I've given up to donation," he answered. "At least we got the fame and won the reputation, that's what matters the most. And please from now on listen to my advice carefully. You're lucky my father hadn't found out about your deplorable action on the first day of the festival."

"Oh, that's something I would never back down from, Asano-kun!" said Arina determinedly. "Even if the vision goes wrong for the risk I will still take it for the sake of goodness for this world. Or else I would rather perish than continue living in guilt."

A/n: hi readers! I have a question for you! Do you like my writing style of focusing on everyone's p.o.v or would you just rather it just be Arina's? Let me know okay?
