"Hey, you made it on time!" I chuckled, watching Ash walk up to the fountain.

There were Pokémon battlefields surrounding the fountain and trees. It was a beautiful place to have a Pokémon battle. If I had to fight anyone, I'd want to do it here.

"So, how are we going to do this? What Pokémon should you use?" I asked.

"Pikachu has some pretty good moves for performing," Ash suggested.

Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder.

"Pika-pi!"

"Okay, I'll use Sylveon then." I smiled.

Sylveon appeared out of her PokèBall quickly after.

"Sylvi!"

"Awesome, so, how should we start the performance?" Ash asked.

"Let's see..."

We planned for about 3 hours. It felt like 5 minutes, though. A lot of laughter and failure moments were shared in those hours. Ash and I really enjoyed each other's company. I looked into his caramel eyes, wondering if he was like my ex. Wondering if he was someone I'd fall for. I mean, he definitely isn't as bad as my ex, but I was just wondering if I would or not. Would I fall for him?

No. No, I wouldn't.

Love only ends up with tears and crying at the end. It only ended up with heartbreak, and the regret of you getting in the relationship. I was going solo.

"I wonder what Dawn and Gary are talking about right now. We haven't even talked to them since we met," I laughed.

"They're probably assuming the worst," Ash chuckled.

"What's the worst?" I asked.

"Us making a good couple, etc," He replied.

"True," I agreed. "Anyways, we should probably start heading home now."

"Yeah," Ash chuckled. "See you in school tomorrow."

"See you." I smiled.

Ash is such a warm-hearted, genuine person. It's so hard to tell my heart no. He's just a friend.I sighed and started going home. It was hard to walk because I was so tired from performing. When I was trying not to close my eyes, I heard an explosion behind me. I turned around to only see Ash training with his Lucario.

That's weird.

"Hey Ash, where do you live?" I asked.

"Huh?" He replied, turning around to look at me. "Why?"

"If we live in the same neighborhood we can walk home together if you want," I offered.

"Oh, sure." Ash smiled.

"Awesome," I replied, smiling too. "Do you live in Dawn's neighborhood?"

"Yeah," Ash replied. "I live right next to Gary. I'm just carpool."

"I live near him too! Wow, so us four are right next to each other," I chuckled.

"That's great," Ash laughed. "So, we don't know that much about each other, do we?"

"Not really," I replied. "So, uh, what's the best thing that's happened in your life?"

Ash just shrugged. "I can't pick one thing out of everything else."

"That's true. That was a stupid question," I chuckled. "What's the best thing that happened to you last week?"

"Well that's easier," Ash chuckled. "Becoming good friends with everyone in the friendship circle that awkwardly lost a link."

I laughed at the last part. "Guess we're fixing by talking, huh?"

"Yep," Ash replied.

We laughed as we walked home. Right before we reached our houses, Ash's Lucario appeared out of its PokèBall. We looked at it questionably.

"What's up, Lucario?" Ash asked.

Lucario pointed towards the sidewalk we walked on.

"What about the path?"

Lucario dashed up to the top of the path and pointed even farther back.

Ash's POV.

"I'll deal with this, you go home," I told Serena.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yeah, 100%. I don't want this to hurt you or anything," I replied.

Serena nodded and walked down the pathway to her house. I quickly followed Lucario down the sidewalk.

"What is it?" I asked.

By using Lucario's aura, I could understand what he was saying.

"Something involving some mysterious energy."

I looked at him questionably once again but followed Lucario down the path.

Soon, Lucario stopped and closed its eyes.

"My senses are telling me it's here, but there isn't anything."

We looked around, and soon I realized a little beeping red light in the sidewalk's crack.

"Maybe it's this? It looks like a tracker," I explained, picking up the strange device.

"That's where the energy is coming from. This isn't good, someone's tracking you, Ash, and you know what that means, don't you?"

I shivered at the thought. "R-right."

"That means everyone at your school and near your house could be in grave danger."

I nodded, fully understanding what Lucario was saying.

"Thanks for sensing this, Lucario. If you didn't find this I don't know what would've happened. It's a good thing I told Serena to go home," I announced.

"It's fine. You need to go home now, get some rest, keep on going to school like normal. You can't stop this, all you can do is wait."

I nodded and returned Lucario into his PokèBall. Before I got home, I threw the tracker into a nearby creek to destroy it.

I decided to go on a little walk before I went home for good. I walked through a little park, and there I saw the second worst thing I've seen all day.
