CHAPTER 30 || Warning & Plan

Ash's POV.
Luke and I started packing up camp to meet the girls nearby in another Code area. The Pokémon Code was really fascinating I thought.
"So, we have the tents, water bottles, bond experiment equipment... anything else?" I asked.
"I need to tell you something about the battle bond test," Luke explained. "You easily are the one from this century. What scares me is that fact that you might go into the form unintentionally."
"What will that do?" I asked, shocked.
"It means that you'll go into the bonding form without knowing how to control it. You'll most likely pass out after 3 minutes," Luke explained.
I looked up at the sky and saw the light blue flame of Deoxys.
"Really?" I asked, putting most of my focus into Deoxys, although I should probably be putting it into Luke.
"Yes, really," Luke replied.
I nodded. Soon enough, we ended up by Serena and Luna.
Serena was playing with a Gardevoir, and Luna was watching them. Luke walked up behind Luna and tapped her shoulder. Luna shook a little bit, but laughed.
"Luke, what are you doing here?" Luna chuckled.
Serena looked over and quickly saw me. Her eyes lit up instantly. She dashed over towards me and forced me into the tightest hug I've ever received.
"I missed you so much!" Serena started.
"Me too." I smiled.
"...so you mean Deoxys appeared in front of Ash's tent last night, telling them to meet up?" Luna asked Luke.
"You've seen Deoxys too?" Serena replied, overbearing their conversation as well.
"Yeah. I'm so confused," I sighed.
Deoxys' flame dove straight down into the Codes.
"Ash, Serena. Finally, both of you in the same place."
Luna and Luke quickly left. They know not to mess with a legendary Pokémon if they're busy talking to someone else.
"I've come to warn you about them."
"Them? Who's them?" Serena asked.
"The ones with the orange, red, and black suits. The ones who want to take over the aura villages. Team Flare."
We both shivered at the name. Serena gently squeezed my hand tighter as we heard more of Deoxys' information.
"You will not win."
"We've been training forever, of course we'll win," I replied determinedly.
"Do not question me. Like I said last night, I mean you no harm. I'm just warning you about the future. Serena, it's harder to see yours. At least for you, anyways."
"Why are you picking on me?" Serena asked.
"Because you'll have the long-term effect of your loss."
Serena wasn't buying it. Honestly, I wasn't either, but I wasn't going to show that straight to the legendary.
"If you need Arceus' aid, ask Luke. He'll be able to help you. But I recommend you not attack Team Flare. I don't want you to suffer the consequences. This will be our goodbye for awhile. I'll be watching over you two. I believe you are the ones who can stop Lysandre, just not yet."
Serena's POV.
Deoxys flew off just after. Ash and I looked at each other, not knowing what to do about Deoxys' warning.
"I say we still go. Deoxys hasn't seen us train in aura before," Ash announced.
"You sure? It is a legendary Pokémon, after all," I replied. "It's known to warn people about danger, it could be trying to help us."
"Deoxys could also be working for Team Flare," Ash stated. "If Team Flare has Giratina, then they could easily be trying to trick us with another legendary."
"Team Flare has Giratina's aid?" I asked.
Ash nodded, and told me the whole story about the phone call with Gary, and why they were there in the first place.
"I don't want us to give up on our goal," Ash replied. "Definitely when this Pokémon could be lying to us."
"I'm not giving up, I'm just worried about what could happen if Deoxys is being truthful," I explained.
I sat down, looking at the trees that covered the Code area.
"But I agree with you. We need to keep the journey going," I finished.
Ash sat down next to me. He nodded, but he also saw the hint of worry in my eyes. Ash leaned over towards me and kissed me. I returned it, but it finished quicker than usual. I sighed, and looked up at the sky.
"I just think Deoxys is telling the truth. And I feel like it's more concerned with me. It stared at me with seriousness when it said the last line of the speech."
Ash hugged me. "We're going to be okay, got it? I won't let anyone hurt you."
I felt a little sting in my eyes for some random reason. My vision went blurry for around 3 seconds, and then snapped back to normal.
I took a deep breath, knowing my brain was screwed up. "Right."
"Guys, come over here! We're going to talk about how we can go to Arceus!" Luna yelled.
Ash and I quickly got up, and we dashed over to Luna and Luke.
"We'll now be hosting the meeting for how to receive Arceus' aid for something so stupid and suspicious!" Luke yelled, using sarcasm.
Luna, Ash, Luke, and I were all standing in a circular form. In the grass in front of all of our feet, an image of black appeared from Luke's aura magic.
"This is Arceus."
The white, god Pokémon was shown on the image.
"To talk with Arceus, you'll have to go through a powerful aura portal that'll bring you to the entrance of the heavens. Once you're done talking to Arceus, he should teleport you back to the Pokémon world," Luke explained.
The image turned into a grassy area with a dark blue portal.
"To get to this portal will be a long quest to Anistar City," Luke explained.
"You mean in the Kalos region?" I asked, my face beaming.
"Yes, Serena. Why?"
"I was born there!" I smiled. "In Vaniville Town!"
"That's cool." Luke smiled. "Anyways, yeah, we'll have to go all the way to the Kalos region to Anistar City. Once we get there, we'll have to make the portal with the sundial's energy. You two will be able to visit Arceus once the portal is made."
"Sounds fun," Ash replied.
"We'll have to accompany you on your journey, though," Luke announced. "Until you reach the portal, anyways. Once you make it to Arceus then you can journey the rest alone. Luna and I don't want to deal with Team Flare, anyways."
Ash and I nodded.
"Understood."
"Well then, this meeting is adjourned," Luna replied.
