CHAPTER 28 || Discovery

Gary's POV.

"Didn't you say you were close to finding some information about Team Flare through that tracker?" Dawn asked, sitting next to me inside the Pokémon Center.

"Yep, it's something to do with a Pokémon who's name I've been unable to find," I replied. "That's what I need to find now. It should be stored in this other database."

"I don't know the hacking type of language, but okay," Dawn chuckled.

She kissed my cheek and went to the Pokémon Center's counter. Dawn was volunteering to help Nurse Joy at the center so we can get a bedroom to sleep in, including food and water. If we went out on our own like Ash and Serena did, we wouldn't end up in a kingdom or anything. They were lucky to end up in that aura village.

"Does it ever come to you that Ash and Serena might be acting overconfident?" Dawn asked.

I tapped in some numbers on my phone, attempting to unlock the last puzzle needed to hack into the database.

"Elaborate," I replied.

"I mean, they think they can beat Lysandre, but if he killed their dads, then who knows what he's capable of," Dawn sighed.

A little kid entered the Pokémon Center, and went to Dawn with a fainted Fennekin, causing us to shut up about Lysandre.

"Welcome to the Pokémon Center. Would you like me to heal your Pokémon?" Dawn asked the boy.

I attached to a machine on my phone which went through every possible numerical combination. The database unlocked instantly. My phone lit up with a ton of different files being transferred on it from the tracker.

How did I do it? Well, the tracker on Team Flare's side is being watched by a computer. That computer is connected to Lysandre's computer. After I got onto Lysandre's computer, I hacked into the database.

I transferred by pivoting between the objects. They completed one way to get into the database. One chain.

A found a folder labeled Ultimate Plan. I quickly opened it, and sub-folders were attached in it. Pokèmon, Outcomes, Research... the list went on.

"Okay, we'll have your Pokémon right out. Can I have a name?" Dawn asked the kid behind me.

"Aaron."

"Okay, Aaron. We'll have your Pokémon out in no time." Dawn smiled.

She took the boy's Fennekin. Aaron went to a couch in the back corner of the center. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see him staring at me. I gulped, seeing the random (what seemed like) 9 year old just staring at me.

I took a deep breath, and continued working on going through the files. I opened the Pokémon folder, wanting to know what the mysterious Pokémon was.

It led to a google doc. I opened it, and saw this:

Giratina ~ Level 100
Pyroar ~ Level 100
Gyarados ~ Level 100

The only way Giratina can be stopped is if Arceus kills it, which is basically impossible. The god of all Pokémon won't come down and defeat my amazing plan. They're just aura users, it's nothing that bad.

The kid behind me immediately stood up.

"What are you doing?" Aaron asked, walking up to me. "What's that document?"

"Huh?" I asked, looking at the little kid. "Well, they're not for your eyes. They're just-"

"I know what they are," The kid replied.

Aaron's eyes flew blue. Strands of light blue energy levitated all around his body. Aaron's body glowed like he was undergoing evolution. Soon enough, I saw an adult, taller than me and wiser, standing in front of me.

"Lysandre's plans shouldn't matter with a young amateur like you," Aaron replied.

He sent an aura sphere and shattered the tracker. My phone suddenly flashed white, showing that I didn't have any connection to Lysandre's computer anymore.

I looked at him. "What's your problem? If you know about Team Flare, you should know that they're only traitors to the aura race, which you are!"

After hearing this, Dawn edged out of the Pokémon nursing room.

"They have an alliance with the aura people now," Aaron replied. "Besides, Ash and Serena probably don't even care about them anymore. Serena's the princess of the kingdom of the last aura users, and Ash is the prince."

"What?" I asked in utter shock.

No, that's impossible. This guy doesn't know anything.

Aaron just shrugged, and turned around to exit the Pokémon Center without his Fennekin. His coat dangled side to side. I could see the back of his shirt, which revealed a Team Flare symbol.

"Ugh, he knew where we were!" I yelled, anger flowing through my veins. "Idiot-"

"Gary, we all knew Team Flare would attack us at some point. At least he didn't destroy your phone, you can still contact Ash," Dawn replied.

"Right." I nodded.

I took a deep breath, and pulled out my phone. Dawn stared intensely at the electronic as I typed in Ash's hand number.

The phone started buzzing. I put the phone on speaker. Dawn put the closed sign over the Pokémon Center. No one could hear this.

"Hello?"
