"Are you ready to go, Serena?" Luna asked.

I walked up to her. Luna was standing by the drawbridge of the castle.

"Whenever you are." I smiled.

"Alright, let's go!" Luna smiled.

She started levitating off the ground with her aura magic. She flew around, and I dashed after her.

"When am I going to learn how to fly?" I asked, breathing heavily.

"That's the last thing you're going to learn," Luna laughed. "If it took you a month and a half to learn the basics of aura spheres, it's going to be another 6 months until then."

"6 months?" I asked.

"Nah, I'm kidding. It's more like 3," Luna chuckled. "But it's still a long time."

"Sure," I laughed.

I went through the portal to teleport to the aura guardian area. Luna went in after me.

"So, are you going to miss Ash?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, a lot," I admitted.

"You know, everyone in Ora says that you're the cutest couple they've ever seen," Luna chuckled.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yep, you've basically earned cutest couple of the century. Good going, cousin," Luna laughed.

I went through the aura guardian portal now. I appeared in the aura users area. Valencia was down the road a bit, but I ignored her.

"No problem cousin," I chuckled, keeping Luna and my conversation going. "How long did it take you to learn aura sphere basics?"

"About a year," Luna giggled. "I'm just messing with you about how you learned in 'only' a month and a half. That's really good."

"How long does it take aura users?" I asked.

"Almost 10 years," Luna whispered into my ear.

I just started laughing like a maniac.

"That long?!"

"Yep," Luna laughed.

We went through the aura user portal, and soon we were back in the prairie where Ash and I spent 4 days doing American Ninja Warrior.

"This is the closest we have to a room, so..."

Ash's hilarious quote ran through my mind. I chuckled, remembering how free we were back then.

My hands felt empty without my gloves. I felt light because I wasn't wearing my heavy ballgown. My ears felt different without my earrings. My feet weren't killing me because I wasn't wearing high heels.

"Serena, are you coming?" Luna asked.

"H-huh? Oh, right! Of course." I smiled. "Where are we going?"

"Ralts' are common near route 1, the route between Viridian City and Pallet Town," Luna explained.

"Let's see if all of them didn't blow up," I replied.

Continuing with my previous thought, I felt like myself again. Princess me wasn't real me. I didn't enjoy living in that castle. I miss when Ash and I could just cuddle next to each other stargazing and then fall asleep whenever we wanted. I don't like these new days... sleep in a bed (pretty uncomfortable bed), wake up, train, have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, then go back to sleep. It was annoying.

"Serena... are you okay?" Luna asked, looking at how deep in thought I was.

"Y-Yeah! I'll stop daydreaming now. It's not about Ash," I replied.

"Mhm, totally," Luna chuckled.

We walked through the pathways I remembered walking down with Ash. Luna distracted me from thinking by talking with me about Pokémon. She gave me some Pokémon type trivia in the meantime.

What type is strong on fairy?

Poison

What type is strong on fire?

Water

What type is strong on grass?

Ice

We kept on asking and answering questions until we got to today's stop. You could tell where it was because there was a sign that said "Day 1 Stop". I always wondered why that sign was there. Guess I know now.

"We can make camp around here. Make sure it's not somewhere in the open," Luna explained.

"Okay." I nodded.

I went through some trees and vegetation to find myself in a prairie like Valencia showed me earlier.

"This look good?" I asked.

"It's perfect." Luna smiled.

The sun started to go down once we started a fire and set up tents.

"We get to rest here tonight. You'll catch Ralts tomorrow," Luna explained.

"Okay," I replied.

I wonder how the previous kings and queens of Ora caught Pokémon. Wait, what will happen when Will dies? Will I be forced a queen? I shivered at the thought. I-

"Serena! That's it, tell me what you're thinking about now!" Luna yelled.

"I'm- ugh, fine, I'll tell you," I sighed. "You're just... really lucky you aren't me."

"What do you mean? You're a princess in an actual castle. No roleplay," Luna chuckled.

"At least you can be yourself," I replied, putting my hand on my forehead. I rested my elbow on my right leg. "I... can't."

"What do you mean?" Luna asked.

"I wasn't raised as a princess. I'm someone who loves going outside and going on adventures. I'm only allowed outside of that castle once per week! And I'm just... not myself in there. I don't like being called madam, but it seems normal now. I'm starting to say 'good day'. Like, who does that?" I asked.

Luna chuckled at my last sentence.

"I have to be wearing a dress or ballgown all day long once I get out of training. And I also have to wear high heels. I've started becoming brainwashed at this rate. I'm wearing gloves because I feel like it'll make my appearance better for the royal family. If they were truly my family, maybe they wouldn't make me be somebody I'm not. Maybe, they would've been there for me, from the start!" I yelled.

Not realizing it, my aura magic levitated over the fire.

"Maybe, if they were truly my family, my actual family wouldn't be dead!" I screamed.

The fire pillared to the sky. The fire started changing colors. They were the colors of the rainbow.

"Serena, what did you do?" Luna asked.

Out of nowhere, in the middle of the fire, an alien-like creature with tentacles appeared in the middle of us. It was orange and blue. I immediately pulled out my PokèDex. It couldn't recognize the Pokémon.

The Pokémon looked at me.

"Deoxys," It mumbled.

Faster than lightning, it dashed up into the sky. We watched the little blue flames from behind it take it to the sky.

"What did you just do..?" Luna asked.

"I didn't summon that thing, did I?" I asked.

"I've never seen it before. What did it say? Deoxi?"

"Deoxys.." I mumbled. "Deoxys... I've heard of that before! It comes when danger is lurking. That's what my dad told me, anyways."

"I'll stay up tonight," Luna volunteered. "I'm not tired, anyways."

I nodded. "Okay. Let's eat dinner, and I'll go to bed."

"Okay." Luna smiled.
