Serena's POV.

I walked to Ash's and my room to change into a dress. This is the only punishment of being a princess. Dresses itch so much and are super uncomfortable. Whoever invented dresses, I hate you.

I slipped into a vibrant, pink dress, and fastened some pink earrings on as well. Slipping on some high heels, I walked out of the bedroom. Next thing I knew, Will and Ash were standing outside the bedroom door.

"Well, hello, Serena," Will waved. "We were waiting on you. I was going to let Ash in to make sure you were alive. That took you forever."

"Sorry, I'm not the one who made this dress rule," I replied. "My feet are still sore from yesterday."

"You'll get used to it," Will shrugged. "Anyways, we have a meeting about Team Flare. There are some things that only masters know about with this organization. We need to fulfill you on everything before you go out uninformed."

"Okay then." I shrugged.

"Let's go, then." Will smiled.

Ash offered me his hand as we walked down the stairs. I kissed him on the cheek before we made it to the meeting room. The room was near the throne room.

"Open the door, and you'll enter the room," Will explained.

Ash opened the door, allowing me to walk in. Ash followed me, and Will was the caboose.

"Welcome, Princess Serena, and Ash," A male from the end of the table announced. "My name is Talon."

"Like Talonflame?" I asked.

"Yes," Talon replied. "I'm the general in Ora."

"Okay." Ash smiled while he took a seat.

"I'm Lee," A girl to Talon's left explained. "I'm the brains in this castle, basically. I know everything that goes on around here."

"So you're going to be the one telling us all about Team Flare?" I asked.

"Correct." Lee smiled.

"I'm Sam," A male to Talon's right announced. "I'm security control, basically. I help Lee with decisions sometimes, and I help Talon with military whenever we need it."

"Military isn't needed too often, right?" Ash asked Talon.

"No, not really." The brown-haired man nodded. "We aren't in war often. Maybe every once and awhile Valencia notices something going wrong in the overworld, and that's when we help."

"Is that what you guys call everything outside of Ora?" I asked.

"Correct." Petunia smiled. "If we want this meeting to be over with, we should start talking about Team Flare now."

"Right." I nodded. "Sorry, we're just curious. This is all new."

"What she said," Ash replied.

"It's fine, you're children after all," Will chuckled.

"17," We said at the same time.

Everyone started laughing, and then Petunia opened a journal. I guess she wrote her studies of Team Flare in there.

"First off, Team Flare is an organization of hundreds of troops. They tend to use the Pokémon Houndoom and Delcatty commonly. Most admins have mega evolved Houndoom's," Petunia started.

"That doesn't matter that much for what this meeting was meant for. You want to know the background information of Team Flare. They actually have a truce with us. We told them that if they didn't attack us, we wouldn't attack them. They agreed with this. Why did we make this agreement, you may ask?

"Team Flare and the aura users, guardians, and masters had a massive war before this treaty. Team Flare wiped away half of our population. We wiped away two-thirds of theirs. That's why your dad's were considered runaways in your villages. They dashed away from the place Team Flare was going to attack just before a bomb landed," Petunia explained. "We didn't want a massacre like that again, so we made the agreement.

"News of the fact that Team Flare bombed your town is spreading. It shows that they're breaking the treaty. Anything can happen at this rate. Most of the aura users are protesting for the fact that we should go to war again. We don't agree."

"So all of this is hidden from the public?" I asked.

"And most aura guardians," Will answered.

"So we have this agreement that's broken, but we don't know for sure if Team Flare meant to break it?" Talon asked, confused as well. "I knew this story, but this new information needs a meeting."

"This is a struggle," I replied. "Well, look. Team Flare knew for sure that Ash and I were William and Riley's kids. They knew we lived in that town. I think they meant to break it by killing the last aura guardians that weren't in Ora. Valencia is in pure danger by guarding the entrance, as well. Everyone should stay inside Ora no matter what, they're trying to kill everyone out in the overworld."

"And they're sneaky. They put tracker devices inside cracks of sidewalks," Ash added.

"Totally agree with you two," Petunia replied. "Going to war so early isn't the best idea, but letting this all slide isn't the right thing to do, either."

"They could have spies out in Ora, too," I announced. "Not that it's likely, but it's possible."

"Right," Will nodded.

"Team Flare aren't foes to let down lightly. They're really strategic and smart in their planning. We need to be trained quickly, so we're prepared for whenever Team Flare strikes," Ash explained.

"Right," Petunia nodded. "I'll see you guys later."

Petunia walked out of the meeting room, showing that the meeting was over.

"See you around, Talon and Sam," I announced, leaving as well.

"See you, Serena," They replied.
