The air was damp, and the streets were misty.. It felt slightly warm, in an uncomfortable way. Outis yawned, and looked at whatever was visible outside.. Outis was streaching on The blanket, closing his eyes. The vulpix next to the eevee, was staring boredly at the sky.. "Im hungry.. Ima get somethin to eat right now, be right back," Rei randomly said

"Ok?" Outis replied, as he opened his eyes. The vulpix walked away, dissapearing in a corner of the alley.. The eevee watched, and then stretched, only to wince.. His stomach still kind of hurted.. Outis stopped streaching, and decided to take a nap. He still felt tired. The eevee yawned, curled up in a circle, and fell asleep..

Outis woke up, his vision blurry.. It took him a moment to adjust to his surroundings, but what he saw was, a bright sky? The floating clouds were a light shade of grey, and the sun was laying a soft, warm beam of light.. The evee then looked down.

He was in a field of clovers..
An endless field of clovers...

Everything looked so strange.. It looked like a dream, everything around him.. How was this possible? Outis looked at the sky. It looked so bright, not like the place where he was before.. He felt warm inside.

The evee sniffed the air, and started walking through the field of clovers.. "There's an old saying about four leafed clovers being lucky.. Right?" Outis thought, looking through The field.. "Maybe if I find a four leafed clover, maybe mother will give me more food, let me sleep inside, and.. Care for me.." the evee thought sadly.. That's all he wanted.. For his mother to care for him, and love him..

Outis hopefully looked for the clover, feeling the plants and dirt underneath his paws.. He wanted to run.. He wanted to run so badly.. The evee couldn't help himself.

The walking turned into jogging, and the jogging turned to running. Outis was zooming about, as the cool feeling of the wind pressed on his face, and through his fur.

It felt so nice.. He felt so free..
He never wanted this to end..
But then, he thought about his mother..

What if she would miss him if he left her, to go to a place like this? What if she doesn't even care? Outis stopped running, skidding to a stop..

He stared at the ground, as the sky above him got darker, and darker. "Maybe she wants me dead..". The evee closed his eyes, and he was in the same alley he was the night before..

"Was this all a dream? Did I even have that interaction with that vulpix?.. " Outis thought. He looked around. He felt so scared, so confused.. His fur stood upright, as he longed for the warmth of the sun, and the lush field of clovers.. He hasn't even found his four leafed clover yet.. That was the thing he was sad about..

Outis looked at his paws.. Blood.. He touched his face in shock.. When he looked at his other hand, it had blood as well.. It felt so familiar, like the thing that happened the night before.. He had a terrible pain in his stomach..

A shadow looked above the evee.. A large shadow.. Outis shakily looked up, his breathing a bit rasp..

It was his mother..

"Hm.. You're not looking so good? What's wrong?" the shadowy leafeon asked, with a sharp accent in her tongue..  Outis tried to speak, but he just simply coughed up blood.. Outis looked at his hands again. They were intentsly shaking. The eveeloution tilted her head at him, and started laughing..

"HAHAHAHAHA... WHY DON'T YOU JUST WAKE UP!?"

Outis arose from his dream, waking up in a cold sweat.. The thing that woke him up, was the vulpix, Rei, who came back with some berries.. Rei was shaking the evee before he woke up, it seemed.. Outis was still panting however, absolutely terrified from his nightmare

"Oi! You can stop shaking in your boots from your dream, and start eating the berries I got you! I went through all that trouble getting them, after all.. " the vulpix mumbled the last part..

Outis just looked around, and saw the pile of  berries that were right next to him.. The evee steadied his breathing, and slightly nodded. He was still sweatimg, however.. Rei tilted his head. "Something wrong bruv?" Rei asked.

Outis sighed. "Well.. I had a nightmare and-" he got cut off. "I see.. Well we can talk about your nightmare once we start eating.. Sounds good?" Rei asked again.

Outis had a small smile.. "Yea.."
