Noble Hearts Alight is a fantasy, open-world rpg taking place in the world of Sorona. You are the Regent. A mysterious being that fell from the sky with no idea who they are or why their in this world. But you travel around the world helping each nation you visit. Starting off in Lorelei.

In the infinite cosmos a being shaped like a young male steps forward from the infinite nothingness. He seems to be made of starlight. The being puts his hand out and two beams of light appear. The image of two nearly identical people, one male one female, appear. You as the player then choose one. Once you choose your Regent the being goes up to them and kiss their cheek before drawing a six pointed star in the air with his finger and putting his hand to your chest along with the star. Seemingly imprinting it on you. Then, the being pushes you back and you fall through the cosmos down to Sorona.

You wake up with a stick poking your face. You hear a male voice say in surprise that you're alive. You sit up and see a boy who looked confused. He stammers before introducing himself as Lucien. Scout of the Wisalia family and practicing swordsman under someone named Master Matrix. You stand up and ask who Matrix and the Wisalia family are. Lucien is confused wondering how you don't know who the Wisalia family are but he explains that their one of the noble families that are in charge of Lorelei's government. The Wisalias are the family who are in charge of Lorelei actually. All other noble families in Lorelei are lesser to them. Lucien also says that he's a Scion of the Wisalia family. Scions being people blessed by Xandros with special abilities. If a Scion joins a noble families employment then their are that family's Scion. You ask who Xandros is. But Lucien says it's easier to explain if you met Matrix. So you decide to go with Lucien.

You and Lucien begin to head to Lorelei's central city known as Roseblade. But on the way the two of you are met with monsters. So Lucien dawns his sword and you instinctively put out your hand which summons a staff. Lucien asks where you got that staff but you say that you don't know. Though that doesn't matter and the two of you fight off the monsters.

After you defeat the monsters Lucien says that the two of you should keep moving. But just faster.

Soon the two of you make it to Roseblade where people seem to be setting up for some kind of celebration. Lucien explains that it's the Xandros Carnival. An annual event that celebrates the almighty deity Xandros who brought peace to Lorelei by unifying the nation under the banner of the Wisalias and the minor noble families. Lucien asks you to follow him and you do so to a large mansion.

Lucien introduces it as Wisalia Manor the home of the Wisalia Family. Lucien leads you around back to what seems to be a shooting range. Where archers are practicing their aim. Though you also hear a gunshot. You look and see a boy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes shooting from a shotgun that seemed to be made of crystal. Lucien walked over to the gunman and you followed.

Lucien tries to introduce the gunman but is interrupted. The gunman introduces himself as Matrix Wisalia the second son, third born child, and Scion of the Wisalia Family. Lucien adds that Matrix is a master swordsman and gunman as well. Matrix asks who you are and you introduce yourself. Lucien explains that you need a rundown of who Xandros is and how things work in Roseblade. Matrix asks Lucien if he came to him for info on Xandros because he went on one meaningless date with High Priest Salem. To which Lucien begins to stammer in embarrassment. Matrix sighs at his apprentice but says he'll explain. Matrix turns to you and explains that Xandros is a deity represented by the rose.

Hundreds of years ago Lorelei was caught in a constant war sparked by the nobility's constant arguing of who should run the nation. Eventually the gods stepped in with Xandros the God of Affection creating the Alliance of Roses and Blades. An peace treaty that made the Wisalias the ruling family of Lorelei with all other noble families having less political power than them. Soon Xandros became the representative god of Lorelei. Even having a church dedicated to him.

You ask why the God of Affection would step into a war to which Matrix answers that not even the High Priest Salem or High Priestess Caralina know the answer. Continuing on Matrix tells you just to keep out of trouble and you'll be okay.

After he says that a girl dressed in gold with blonde hair called for him. Matrix addresses her as Callista as he answers her. Lucien quietly tells you that Callista is Matrix's older sister, second born of the Wisalia Family, and Scion of the Wisalia Family. Callista says that someone named Eclipso has arrived at the manor. Matrix notes that and says he'll be there in a second before formally introducing you to Callista and telling you that Eclipso is the first born of the Wisalia Family and both his and Callista's older brother who disinherited himself from being the next head of the Wisalia Family to study magic on the other side of the world. Only sending magical puppets in his place when special events like the Xandros Carnival come around. Just then a mechanical looking young man arrives. Complaining to Matrix and Callista that it's rude to keep honored guests like himself waiting. You figure this must be Eclipso's puppet. Eclipso continues on and says that he's decided to help with the Wisalia Family's preparations for the Xandros Carnival out of the goodness of his heart stating that his gloriousness must add a little magic touch to the festival. As Eclipso and Callista leave Matrix turns to you and says just to enjoy the Xandros Carnival while you're in Roseblade before following his older siblings.

The scene then cuts away to a mysterious figure looking at you through some kind of magic mirror. They say something about how not even the gods could've foretold your coming before the main story for now ends there.

And that's all I got for story right now. 

Now onto characters and their kits. As well as elemental types which are Pyrus, Hydrus, Shocktrus, Gustus, Frostus, and Mystic. Weapon types are, swords, staffs, gauntlets, spears, bows, and scythes. Characters are called Scions and have three main combat abilities in their kits. Normal Attacks, Noble Skills, and Nobility Crashes.

First character is Lucien. A four star, sword wielding, Hydrus Scion. His Normal Attack deals five strikes of Hydrus DMG. His Noble Skill lets him dash forward to deal Hydrus DMG while creating a ring around the active Scion which deals repeated instances of Hydrus DMG. His Nobility Crash summons five other swords that he launches forward which deal AoE Hydrus DMG.

Next, Callista. A five star, sword wielding, Shocktrus Scion. Her Normal Attack deals six strikes of Shocktrus DMG. Her Noble Skill summons her Golden Mannequin which deals AoE Shocktrus DMG repeatedly. Her Nobility Crash lets Callista send her Golden Mannequin forward and let it explode dealing AoE Shocktrus DMG.

Next, Salem. A five star, staff wielding, Frostus Scion. His Normal Attack deals fives instances of Frostus DMG. His Noble Skill lets him create an X shape of ice before exploding it dealing AoE Frostus DMG. His Nobility Crash summons a rose made of ice that deals AoE Frostus DMG.

Next, Caralina. A four star, staff wielding, Shocktrus Scion. Her Normal Attack deals three instances of Shocktrus DMG. Her Noble Skill summons her Holy Prism Shield to protect the active Scion. Her Nobility Crash summons a field that heals the active Scion if their HP is below a certain percentage.

Next, Shiayoko. A four star, gauntlet wielding, Pyrus Scion. His Normal Attack deals four instances of Pyrus DMG. His Noble Skill surrounds the active Scion with Kitsune Sigils that do a certain amount of healing. His Nobility Crash lets his throw a Kitsune Sigil that deals AoE Pyrus DMG and heals the entire team a certain amount.

Next, Eclipso. A four star, staff wielding, Mystic Scion. His Normal Attack deals three instances of Mystic DMG. His Noble Skill summons a Shield of Puppetry to defend the active Scion. His Nobility Crush lets him throw five puppets at the opponent that crash into enemies dealing Mystic DMG.

Finally, Matrix. A five star, sword wielding, Mystic Scion. His Normal Attack deals five strikes of Mystic DMG. His Noble Skill lets him summon his gun and fire a shot from it dealing Mystic DMG. His Nobility Crush enhances his Normal Attack so that he attacks with his guns dealing enhanced Mystic DMG.
