After graduation, April felt she couldn't stay one more second in Mystic Falls because that town only brought her bad memories, it was the place her mother died, her father died, her supposed friends lied to her face and where she witnessed Klaus Mikaelson killing twelve hybrids in a matter of seconds.

Caroline remembered how it was when she found out about the whole supernatural world and how it could be very scary so she decided to put college on hold and leave town with April to protect her and teach her how to handle the supernatural world. When Caroline tells the gang that she's gonna leave, Stefan decides to go with them because he isn't having the best time seeing his brother and his ex dating.

The 3 decide to move to Chicago and eventually find out Rebekah who has finally got Klaus to let her be free. Once Rebekah realizes they are helping April with handling the supernatural world, she convinces them to go to New Orleans to help them.

(When I was thinking of this plot I wanted to be a Klaroline story but maybe it would be more focus to April and Kol, also would have stebekah and Calijah because -ELEJAH gifs made me start to ship Calijah too. What do you think?)
