Fallspire woke up with a start. "I-it was just a dream..." he looked around. Beside him was Raingrass, his best friend with wide eyes. "Nightmare again Fallspire? Well I can't blame you. No cat should have to go through that."

Fallspire nodded in agreement. "I owe Fourthstar my life... without him..." he chocked on tears. "I-i'm going to go on a walk with Glacepaw". His apprentice always seemed to help him with these things. His innocence almost pure. If he wasn't the word of Starclan, then Starclan never spoke.

He padded over to the apprentice den to fetch him. He saw the pure white Apprentice sleeping with his friend Cottenpaw. He pawed his nose gently "Wake up Glacepaw, it's time for patrol." The sleepy cat yawned and stretched his legs "Can't you give it a few more minutes..."

"Nope. Flakeclan and the others don't rest and neither will we." he chuckled lightly at the Apprentice's reaction, leading him out of camp. "You remember the newly established borders, correct Glacepaw?"

Glacepaw nodded "Yep! they are hard to forget once you go there." Fallspire smiled lightly "Good, lead me to Flakeclan's border." Glacepaw's eyes widened "M-me?!? But I've only been once!"

Fallspire let out a halfhearted growl "Didn't you just say they were hard to forget if you've been there even once?" Glacepaw looked down, dismay in his eyes "Sorry..." he muttered before his ears being licked by Fallspire "It's alright. I'll show you once more as it is new for all cat's. But I expect you to remember it after this." He spoke sternly and lead him towards the huge mountains of Flakeclan.

"Here is Flakeclan. You never cross their borders even if its just a paw step. Because if you do they will kill you without question." He growled softly. "What if they are seen on our side? What do I do then?" Glacepaw asked with curiosity. "I hope those backstabbing mongrels never leave their scent on their grounds after what they did." replied Fallspire, his tail flicking from side to side in hostility. They then followed the great river that came off Bigmountin and lead to Waterclan.

"This is Waterclan. They are reasonable... to an extent." he sighed "Just don't be caught stealing prey on their border. You may cross if while out on patrol become thirsty, but if you kill prey on their lands, they will kill you without mercy as there is barely any on their grounds." Glacepaw smiled lightly "At least they seem nicer than Flakeclan" Fallspire Sighed and nodded in agreement "Still... it's best to just steer clear unless necessary. " Glacepaw nodded in understanding. Fallspire lead them towards Sandclan's beaches.

"Here are the sandy beaches of Sandclan. They are the most understanding clan out of the other two, so if you do hunt on their territory they won't just let you go, but will deliver fair punishment." Fallspire explained. Glacepaw laughed lightly "So if i'm going to break the code, do it here?" Fallspire smiled lightly at his apprentice's remark. "Well, I wouldn't condone it, but yes. If you are to break it do it here." He began to lead him back to Moonclan as it had become evening.

"Why do we have territory's Fallspire?" he asked suddenly. Fallspire take a deep breath, reliving that night in his mind "Because some cat's didn't like the new ways." Glacepaw tilted his head in deeper curiosity"But why?" Fallspire growled "Because some cat's are nosy!" Glacepaw's ears fell in dismay, he hadn't meant to anger his mentor. "Sorry..." Glacepaw mumbled. Fallspire sighed "Don't be. Just drop it and do as told." Glacepaw nodded "Yes Fallspire..."
