Here it is Rohirat chapter finally!!

I was confused about what I should write but I just saw a reel and well I got my idea!

So this chapter is about their first meet! Cause why not

Virat was sitting with other youngester when he heard someone talking about a guy named 'Rohit Sharma'. He ignored it and started looking here and there only to find his idol Sachin Tendulkar coming in and heading towards MS Dhoni.

Virat was youngster and new, he didn't talk to anyone just sat at one place. But seeing his idol he was surely really nervous. He then heard more people talking about the Rohit guy, and now Virat was curious to know who is this boy? He wasn't too excited but he wanted to know.

He closed his eyes because of boredom and leaned his head towards the wall. He then heard MS Dhoni telling his idol Sachin Tendulkar about the Rohit guy and even Sachin sir was praising him. Well our curious boy was now really curious to know who this Rohit is? Even his idol is praising that guy.

He thought, "youngsters to hum bhi hain, humari baat to koi nahi kar raha? Iss Rohit ki ho baat kar rahe hain sab"

He wasn't jealous he was just curious to know who this guy is.

And when he saw Rohit batting he knew why everyone was praising him. He has great timing and great shots. And that made Virat admire Rohit. He was surely excited to meet Rohit and probably be friends with him. He wanted to know him.

Time skip..

It was 2008 and ODI's were going on. India had a match against Sri Lanka and the players were started to come to the hotel where they will be staying.

[After too much research I found out that Virat sir and Rohit sir played this match together for the first time]

MS Dhoni was informed that the 2 youngsters were coming and it was his responsibility to look after them.

He was pretty scared because afterall he has to be the elder brother now.

Both the youngsters came in the hotel and were told to wait in lobby. It was awkward and Virat was just staring at Rohit as he had seen him for the first time ever.

Rohit noticed him and said

Rohit - Hi myself Rohit Sharma.

And smiled at him. Virat was nervous and embarassed but he said,

Virat - Hi myself Virat Kohli, and I know you I have seen you play.

Rohit - that's great even I have seen you play, you are actually really good.

Virat smiled at that and Rohit smiled back.

Mahi soon came and noticed both of them talking which made him smile. He headed towards them and said

Mahi - hello kiddos.

Both rohirat smiled at that and greeted him back.

Mahi told them to call him mahi Bhai and gave them their key. When they got to know they are roommates they were surely really happy.

Soon they headed towards their room and adjusted themselves. The room was huge.

Rohit - to... Tu subah jaldi uthata hain?

Virat - ha.. kyu?

Virat asked being confused.

Rohit - kuch nahi mujhe utha Dena phir. Thoda hard hoga but try kar le nahi to thanda pani phek de mere upar.

To which Virat just nodded being confused.

The next morning Virat woke up and decided to do what his new friend told him to do.

Virat started shaking him but he wasn't waking up. Then Virat started screaming his name but that too didn't work. Virat thought now he has to throw water on him sadly and he picked up the water bottle which was on table and poured all the water on Rohit's face which made him wake up and scream

Rohit - kyaa yaar maa..

But when Rohit realised it was Virat he smiled sheepishly at him and said

Rohit - thanks for waking me up.

Virat - it was tiring but it's okay now.

And they both laughed on that. Mahi saw this scene and was relieved that they werent enemies but friends.

And their friendship continued...
