A/N: Okay so a lot of you wanted for this story to continue! Also, your outfit's changed a bit, you now have a scarf with a warm purple tint that Summer gave you as a birthday present. Weiss also has an outfit change, she has an outfit similar to Ruby's, but replace the black with white, and the red with an icy blue, instead of a cloak, she has a scarf similar to her brother's but it's ice blue. Y/N POV

me and ruby are at a dust shop because ruby needed to get some dust for her weapon. ruby has her headphones on so she can't hear anything. i then hear some people enter and i look to see roman torchwick with some thugs. i hide behind a shelf and listen in.

Roman: Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?

one of the henchman points his gun at the shopkeeper.

Shopkeeper: P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!

Roman: Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. Grab the Dust.

a henchman opens a case and removes one of several cylinders, which the group uses to take dust from the tube containers on the walls. i continue observing but i prepare my semblance for when i decide to step in.

Henchman 1: Crystals. Burn. Uncut.

the shopkeeper proceeds to fill the case. as another henchman goes for another tube, he hears the muted This Will Be the Day song, ruby's favorite, from her direction, he unsheathes his sword.

Henchman 2: Alright kid, put your hands where I can see 'em.

no response.

Henchman 2: Hey, I said hands in the air! You got a death wish or something!?

he goes over to her and turns her around, the hood dropping to reveal a surprised ruby wearing headphones. he motions for her to lower them. which she does, she then sees me and i wink as i show my hand surrounded by a blue flame, showing that my semblance is on standby.

Ruby: Yes?

Henchman 2: I said, put your hands in the air, now!

Ruby: Are you... robbing me?

Henchman 2: Yes!

Ruby: Ooohhh...

roman is waiting for his men to finish the heist when a "Hey!" and "Hyah!" are heard, and the threatening henchman flies past him. roman calmly motions for another to handle ruby. he points a gun at ruby.

Henchman 1: Freeze!

i activate my semblance, turning me into my skeleton form and i toss a sharp bone into his shoulder, leaving him to scream from the pain caused by karmic retribution. ruby then takes opportunity to throw him out of the window, the impact knocking him out. ruby and me jump outside, my scarf blowing in the wind. The other men look outside as ruby gets up and unfolds crescent rose into its scythe form. i make my eye glow a bit brighter, adding to my power. roman scowls, but ruby smiles back at them before twirling the weapon around, striking it into the ground and turning off her headphones.

Roman: Okayyy...Get them!

the henchmen head out of the shop and run at ruby, who spins around on top of her scythe and kicks the first approaching criminal in the face. She gets crescent rose out of the ground and fires it off to hit another one with the butt of her weapon, sending him flying. another henchmen tries to stab her in the back with a sword but he is met with a gaster blaster pointing at his face as it fires it's beam, turning his head to ash. ruby fires again and brings the side down on one attacker and dodges the next's gunfire with her rifle's speed, getting close enough to knock him into the air and follow him upwards so she can beat him away to roman's feet.

Roman: You were worth every cent. Truly, you were.

he drops his cigar and crushes it with his cane as approaching police sirens are heard.

Roman: Well, Red, and Skelebone, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around...

he raises his cane and opens the bottom to reveal a rifle with a cross grid.

Roman: ...I'm afraid this is where we part ways.

roman unleashes a red blast at ruby, i use my telekinetic powers to turn the blast around and it hits roman as he rolls towards the wall and crashes into it. roman quickly gets up and goes up a ladder.

Ruby: You okay if we go after him?

the shopkeeper gives a short "uh huh", and ruby sets off while i teleport to the top of the roof. roman makes it to the roof, only for me to teleport behind him and ruby high-flying again and landing right behind him.

Ruby: Hey!

Roman: Persistent...

we prepare to fight him, but a getaway bullhead rises up and opens the hatch to allow roman inside. roman turns around and is holding up a red dust gem.

Roman: End of the line!

he throws it out at her feet and fires at her, resulting in a large explosion.

Roman: Whoa-ho-ho-ho! Huh?

he looks shocked when he sees me using a gaster blaster skull to protect me, ruby and a woman in a purple cape who is now also here. as ruby looks on, i summon more gaster blasters that fire their beams directly at the flying vehicle while i notice an impressed expression on the woman who i now recognize as glynda goodwitch. roman is thrown around in the back until he goes to the cockpit, where a woman in red, who i recognize as cinder fall is struggling with the controls.

Roman: We got a Huntress!

the woman gets up and heads toward the back as roman takes the controls.

Y/N: i didn't want to have to use my full power but this is cinder we're talking about.

my eyes glows even brighter, creating a blue flame around my left eye socket. i stick my dominant hand out as a blue aura engulfs the bullhead.

Roman: The hell...?

Glynda: Amazing...

with the other hand, i close and lock all the doors on the bullhead as i pull it towards me with my dominant hand. i then slam it against the ground several times, eventually blowing it up, but before they can blast off like team rocket, i use my telekinisis to pull them towards the ground. i then summon four bones and stab two into each of their arms, binding them as some sort of handcuff. cinder tries to activate her semblance but karmic retribution denies that. i then summon four more and stab them in their legs. i then deactivate my semblance and my flesh and skin grow back. i huff and puff from exhaustion as glynda appears.

Glynda: Impressive young man.

Ruby: You're a Huntress! Can I have your autograph?!

(TIMESKIP!)

ruby's amazed face turned to one of shame as glynda, with a tablet computer, paces around the table ruby and i are seated at, right underneath a bright light in the otherwise dark room.

Glynda: I hope that you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger.

Ruby: They started it!

i facepalm at that response.

Glynda: If it were up to me, you'd be sent home... With a pat on the back...And a slap on the wrist.

she demonstrates with her wand, which ruby barely avoids as she gives out an "eeek!"

Glynda: But... there is someone here who would like to meet you.

she moves out of the way so a surprised ruby can ozpin coming through the doorway, holding a mug and a plate of cookies.

Ozpin: Ruby Rose...You... have silver eyes.

Ruby: Uh, um...

Ozpin: So! Where did you learn to do this?

Ruby: S-Signal Academy.

Ozpin: They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

Ruby: Well, one teacher in particular.

Ozpin: I see...And you young man, how did you manage to pull an entire Bullhead to the ground?

Y/N: that was my semblance i call blue eye. it turns me into a skeleton with a permanent grin and a glowing blue eye. it gives me all sorts of abilites, telekinisis being one of them. i mastered it at the age of 9.

Ozpin: I see.

he puts the cookies on the table in front of ruby. She tentatively picks one up, eats it in a single bite, and then, not seeing any rebuttal, shovels the rest into her mouth but i grab the final one and i wink as she pouts and i munch on my cookie.

Ozpin: Ms.Rose, I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow...

Ruby: Oh! That's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like— Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa!

she proceeds to make some karate-style poses and noises.

Ozpin: So I've noticed.

he places his cup on the table as he leans in, then sits down opposite ruby and me, he looks at ruby.

Ozpin: And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?

Ruby: Well... I want to be a Huntress.

Ozpin: You want to slay monsters?

Ruby: Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal! And then I'm going to apply to Beacon! You see, my sister's starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause I wanna help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, Hey, I might as well make a career out of it! I mean the police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and really, gosh, you know!

glynda and ozpin study her, they turn to me.

Ozpin: And you, why have you decided to become a hunter?

Y/N: i can't tell them anything about resets. they'll think i'm crazy. well it's better than sitting around and doing nothing with my semblance.

he nods and then looks at the both of us.

Ozpin: Do you know who I am?

Ruby: You're Professor Ozpin.

Y/N: you're the headmaster at beacon academy.

Ozpin: Hello.

Ruby: Nice to meet you.

Y/N: heya.

Ozpin: You want to come to my school?

Ruby: More than anything.

Y/N: yep.

Ozpin: Well, okay.

(TIMESKIP!)

Third Person POV

Yang tackles her sisters and "brother" in a hug aboard the large airship to Beacon, crushing the air out of them.

Yang: Oh, I can't believe the whole family is going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!

Ruby: Please stop.

Yang releases them.

Yang: But I'm so proud of you Ruby!

Ruby: Really Sis, it was nothing.

Yang: What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees.

Ruby: I don't want to be the "bee's knees", okay? I don't want to be any kind of knees! I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees.

Y/N: do you knee-d some advice on that?

Weiss and Yang snicker while Ruby just rolls her eyes.

Yang: What's with you? Aren't you excited?

Ruby: Of course I'm excited... I just...I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything.

Yang goes over and gives her cloaked sister a one-armed hug.

Yang: But you are special.

Their attention is drawn to the newscast on Vale News Network playing nearby, talking about the robbery and showing Roman's mug shot.

Cyril: The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who was captured due to a brave hunter stopping the getaway Bullhead with what seem to be tekekinetic powers. Back to you Lisa.

The mugshot changes to Lisa Lavender, with a photo of animal-eared demonstrators holding signs saying "WE ARE NOT ANIMALS!" followed by an image of the logo of a growling red wolf's head with three scratch marks.

Lisa: Thank you, Cyril. In other news, this Saturday's Faunus Civil Rights protest turned dark when members of the White Fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organization has now disrupted...

The news feed is cut off as a hologram of Glynda replaces it.

Glynda: Hello, and welcome to Beacon!

Yang: Who's that?

Glynda: My name is Glynda Goodwitch.

Yang: Oh.

Y/N snickers.

Glynda: You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world.

Her hologram dissapears.

Ruby: Oh, wow! Look, you can see Signal from up here!

Ruby and other students look through the glass walls at the town below.

Ruby: I guess home isn't too far after all!

Yang: Beacon's our home, now.

The four hear a passenger groaning and hunched over nearby, running to the back of the ship.

Yang: Well... I guess the view isn't for everyone. (rolls her eyes)

Ruby: It was a nice moment while it lasted.

The ship is seen approaching Beacon across a large body of water.

Ruby: I wonder who we're gonna meet! I just hope they're better than Vomit Boy. Oh, Frost, gross! You have puke on your shoe!

Weiss: Gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross!

Ruby: Get-Get away! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me! Go to Yang instead!

Yang: Don't bring me into this!

(TIMESKIP!)

As soon as the Bullhead lands, Jaune emerges and goes over to the nearest trash can, hunching over it as he loses his lunch. Ruby, Yang, Weiss and Y/N alongside several other students, walk out of the ship and head down the paved path to the front of the school.

Ruby, Weiss and Yang: Wow...

Yang: The view from Vale's got nothing on this!

Ruby suddenly becomes a chibi with starry eyes.

Ruby: Ohmygosh, sis! That kid's got a collapsible staff! And she's got a fire sword!

She tries getting closer, but Weiss pulls her sister by the hood back into reality.

Ruby: Ow! Ooww!

Weiss: Easy there, Ruby. They're just weapons!

Ruby: "Just weapons'? They're an extension of ourselves! They're a part of us! Oh, they're so cool!

Yang: Well, why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?

Ruby grabs her scythe and unfurls it, she then proceeds to hug it.

Ruby: Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose! I just really like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people, but better...

Yang: Ruby, come on, why don't you go try and make some friends of your own?

Ruby: But... why would I need friends if I have you three?

Yang: Well...

In a flash, a group of other students surround Yang and they all dash down the road.

Yang: Actually, my friends are here. Gotta go catch up. 'Kay, see ya, bye!

Ruby spins around and ends up in a dizzy state.

Ruby: Wait, where are you going?! Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms? Do we have dorms? I don't know what I'm doing...

She falls over but Weiss and Y/N catch her and lay her back on her feet.

Y/N: come on, i know beacon's map like the back of my hand. i'll take you two to the auditorium.

(SMALL TIMESKIP!)

Ruby, Weiss and Y/N arrive in the auditorium.

Yang: Hey! Over here! I saved you three a spot!

Yang: How's your first day going?

Ruby: You mean since you ditched us?

Yang: Look, I'm sorry okay! I just had some catching up to do!

Their attention is drawn to the stage, where Professor Ozpin is readying the microphone, with Glynda beside him.

Ozpin: I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step.

As Ozpin leaves and go to talk with a ginger-haired girl who is dressed in a similar fassion to Ozpin, Glynda walks up to the microphone.

Glynda: You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed.

Yang: He seemed kind of... off.

Ruby: It's almost like he wasn't even there.

Weiss: No kidding.

(TIMESKIP TO NIGHT!)

The first night at Beacon, students are splayed out in sleeping bags. Ruby, in her pajamas and with a sleeping mask around her head, is writing in a journal when Yang crashes next to her, similarly dressed. Weiss and Y/N are sitting next to each other while Y/N's attention is drawn to a blonde cat-faunus guy, and a girl who seems to be half-demon.

Yang: It's like a big slumber party!

Ruby: I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though.

Yang: I know I do!

She purrs as she watches several muscular, shirtless guys... and Jaune, dressed in feetie pajamas, waving to her, which makes her groan before she returns her attention to Ruby.

Yang: What's that?

Ruby: A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going.

Yang: Aw, that's so cuuuute!

She is knocked back as a pillow is launched at her face.

Ruby: Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!

Yang: You know us right? So there's no need to worry!

Y/N: ruby, think of it like this, it's only been one day. you still have four years to make plenty of friends. hell, i see two people there that caught my interest.

They look at the cat-faunus guy and the demon girl.

Yang: Well, time to go meet them Ruby!

She picks up Ruby and drags her to them. The two look up to see the half-sisters approaching them. On closer inspection, the guy is in blue pyjamas and has glasses and has his blonde hair in a modern quiff style and the girl has devil horns, wings and tail. She is also wearing a shirt with a cartoon devil on it, pyjama pants, a pentagram necklace and her brown hair is dark blue at the end.

Yang: Hello! We couldn't help but notice you two. What are your names?

Elijah: Elijah Goodwitch. Nice to meet you. (Yes that's me. I'm planning to let every book have an OC team so for this book, I'm using my team consisting of me, my bestie NoaHaddock6  and two OCs.)

They shake hands.

Noa: 'Sup! Name's Noa Haddock!

Ruby: Are those...Devil horns? And wings? And tail?

Noa: Yep! My ma was a human and my dad a demon. They banged and I came out!

Yang: Wait, Elijah, you said your last name was Goodwitch?

Elijah: Yeah, Professor Goodwitch is my mom.

Ruby: That's cool!

The ginger girl that Ozpin talked to earlier approaches them.

?: Hey guys!

Noa: Oh! 'Sup Bridgette!

Elijah: For clarification, this is Bridgette Ozpin and yes, she's Ozpin's daughter.

Bridgette has bright green eyes, long straight ginger hair, glasses similar to Ozpin, black pyjamas and she's holding mug with hot chocolate inside, loaded with whipped cream.

Bridgette: Greetings. Well, Elijah already said my name.

Yang and Ruby shake hands with Bridgette.

Bridgette: Nice to meet you Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao-Long.

Then finally, a dark-skinned girl approaches. She has amber eyes, short black wavy hair, red pyjamas and she has giant white wings sticking out of her back. She also has a necklace with a sapphire inside.

?: Hello. Sorry, I just had to stretch my wings a bit. I didn't want to wake up with them cramping again.

Bridgette: That's okay Yinova. By the way, this is Yinova Innistrad.

Yinova: Hello. Nice to meet you!

Instead of shaking hands, Yinova gives them each a quick hug.

Noa: Well, I think it's time we all head to sleep!

Yang: You're right. See you tommorow maybe?

Elijah: Sure!

Yang and Ruby go to their sleeping bags and see that Weiss and Y/N are sharing a giant sleeping bag. They smile at that before going to sleep themselves.
