Daren- "GGGGGAASSSSPPPP".
I wake up on a metal slab, gasping for air, when I found myself not needing to breath, I raise my hand.......and scream.
Daren- AAAAAAAHHHHHH.
I then hear footsteps, I slide off the bed, somehow able to use my new feet perfectly, I look around the corner to see a worker drone with a mustache and ski goggles looking at some gears.
Daren- h-hello.
The worker jumps and pulls out a wrench, shaking.
?- W-WHOS THERE.
I slowly walk out into the light, the worker screams.
?- DISASSEMBLY DRONE.
He goes to run when I grab his arm.
Daren- STOP, I'M NOT GONNA HURT YOU.
I let him go as he backs up slowly.
?- W-why let me go.
Daren- Cause I'm not supposed to be a disassembly drone, whatever that is, I used to be a human.
?- Yeah right, the humans died during the destruction of the planet.
Daren- not me, I was able to reach a bunker, last thing I remember is going to sleep.
?- Hhhhmmm, that has to be true, if you really were a true disassembly drone, you would have killed me already, also, why do you have four hands.
I look down to see I had four arms and three hands, I was missing one.
Daren- Don't know, what happened after the explosion.
?- Humans and the whole planet died, nice work.
Daren- HEY, I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS TRYING TO STOP THAT FROM HAPPENING.
?- What.
Daren- I was in charge of monitoring the planet and it's activities, I saw the planet was becoming unstable, but no one listened, and they denied me permission to go home, so I locked myself inside a panic shelter and waited for the humans to die, I knew the workers would survive.
?- hm, hey, why don't you join our colony.
Daren- Really.
?- Yeah, we're a friendly colony, im not gonna in good concise leave you here to die.
I think for a minute.
Daren- Deal.
We shake on it.
Daren- I'm daren, who are you.
?- call me khan.
And that is how I ended up with the colony, hiding from the murder drones.
