In New York City, humans, Asgardians, Homeworld & Crystal gems, walking/talking animals, and walking/talking/clothed innominate objects lived in peace and harmony. 

In a three-bedroom apartment located in apartment building, 18 year old Gracie woke up to the alarm clock going off and she got out of bed and stopped the alarm clock to get ready for school. 

You see, Gracie was different than everyone at school and she decided not to deal with everyone looking at her for how different she was from them ever since she was a soldier for the war of Earth. 

Gracie then went over to the mirror in her bedroom as she began to sing a song.

[Gracie:] 

Hello gorgeous, let's check out how you look today
Short and stubby, and, my gosh, look how much you weigh
You're peachish white, got this thing on your head, and whoa
Girl, you couldn't look better
Shake the sleep off and kick into the morning drill
It's another awesome day here in New York City
Grab your shoes, time to spread the good news, whoa
Things just couldn't be better

Call it hope or faith, whatever
I just know in my heart, it's the day I've waited forever 

[Gracie & New York City Citizens:] 

'Cause there's a scrambled sun in a day-glo sky
And the mood couldn't be any brighter
And as the slam big city goes rocketing by
well, my head couldn't feel any lighter
It's like a fun-house ride, the kind you just can't miss
Call it crazy, and yet, is there anything better than this?
Life just couldn't be better than this 

[King Dice:] 

Nevermind that, I'll tell you what the day'll bring
First a shindig, then a bash, then more partying
Top it all with a rave, then a ball (oh, whoa-oh)
Yeah, you know it couldn't be better 

[Cuphead:] 

Morning Gracie, got something new you wanna try?
It's a brownie cupcake fudge berry ice cream pie
Just one bite, who these kids? Am I right? Mugman 

[Mugman:] 

It just couldn't taste better 

[Gracie:] 

And soon, you-know-what is coming 

[The Devil, Gracie, & King Dice:] 

But until it arrives, might as well keep the party humming, yee-haw 

[Gracie, The Devil, King Dice, & New York City Citizens:] 

Yes, it's a square peg life in a round hole town
But the folks couldn't be any sweeter
It may be upside backwards and wrong side down
But it just couldn't feel more completer

And there's so much to do
And it's all such bliss
There's no reason to fret
What could ever be better than this?

[Betelgeuse:] 

Stop the press, Betelgeuse is here
Story of the day, of the month, of the year
Here's a little scoop on the way down low
Check-check-check out the flow
The cats are rapping, lobster snapping
But only the dog makes the party happen

It couldn't bet better than this 

[Gracie, The Devil, King Dice, & New York City Citizens:]

Another madhouse night in a crazy quilt world
And our hearts couldn't soar any higher
We've got our freak flags flying, completely unfurled
And we just couldn't be more fire
And life's a nonstop blast, it's utter awesomeness
Yeah, it's crazy, you bet, but it couldn't get better than this
Yeah, it's crazy, you bet, it could never get better than this
It could never be better than this 

[Betelgeuse:] 

Could it be better than this? 

Gracie then went into the living room and went over to the living room window to see every New York citizens going about their day.

[Gracie:] 

Guess another sun has set
And another moon has smiled
I'm still just one more girl
Still waiting for her love
I'm sure it's gonna happen
Just like the story says
There's a new day 'round the corner
And it just might be the day

Once everyone finished singing, Gracie was still looking out the living room window as she was thinking about her future and new love life when she had dumped Flash Sentry for cheating on her and for being a mean boyfriend after she saw him kissing another girl around their age group. 

You see, the Devil and King Dice never liked it when Flash Sentry was around and they didn't want to hurt their daughter figure's feelings until the break-up happened. 

Gracie sighed and walked away from the window as she goes into the kitchen to get breakfast. 

The Devil was in the kitchen making a pot of coffee as Gracie went over to the refrigerator and opened it to get the milk jug out. 

"Hey, kid, what's up?" The Devil asked ruffling Gracie's hair. 

"Nothing much. Still a little bit upset that Flash Sentry cheated on me." Gracie said going to the cereal cabinet to get out Cinnamon Toast Crunch, her favorite cereal. 

Flashback: 

Gracie was walking through school to find Flash Sentry so they could meet up with the party planning community for everyone to bring their parents to the party that was happening on Friday that week, which they had to finish up with their party planning. 

She couldn't find him anywhere as almost everyone was scrambling to get out of school since it was already over with. 

As Gracie got out of one of the hallways that led down to the science classes, she eventually saw Flash Sentry through the crowd of people heading home. 

Just as she was going to head in his direction, she saw him kissing another girl, Amy Rose, which made Gracie feel betrayed, hurt, and heartbroken. 

Once Flash Sentry looked up, he saw Gracie looking at him with a betrayed, hurt, and heartbroken look in her brown eyes and she then ran off to the English room where they were going to continue planning for the party that everyone brought their parents to. 

That day, Gracie promised herself to not fall in love ever again and she was eventually comforted by a good friend, Jamie and her husband, Loki. 

End of Flashback! 

The Devil chuckled at this and looked at Gracie with a hopeful look in his eyes as King Dice came in yawning and tired from working at the casino last night. 

"Kid, look at me for a minute." He said as King Dice grabbed a coffee mug out of the cupboard full of mugs and glasses and went over to the coffee pot to pour himself. 

Gracie looked at him real quick as he kneeled down to her height level to talk to her better. 

"You'll find someone, even if you did promised to not to fall in love ever again. Me and King Dice never liked Jerk Sentry in the first place." The Devil said making Gracie laugh a little. 

"Gracie, *yawns* you bet get ready for school before you're late." King Dice said going to the table with the mug of coffee in his hands. 

Gracie quickly ate the cereal she made herself and went to her bedroom to get ready for the day. 

As Gracie came out, she wore a blue shirt under her red Long Beach sweater, black leggings, and her black boots that almost look like biker boots with her pink backpack over her shoulders. 

"See you guys at the party tonight at the school." Gracie said racing out the door to get to school as the Devil and King Dice waved her a goodbye. 

Little did Gracie know she was going to meet someone after rejecting Flash Sentry's forgiveness to get back together.
