"Get back here you thief!" a man yelled chasing a little girl with tattered clothes and no shoes. she held a tiny loaf of bread as she ran through the town and running into the woods. she scamper for miles going to her small hole under a tree and crawled in and the man ran past ten minutes later. the little girl had messy dirty hair you couldn't tell the color of and black eyes void of emotion as she ate her tiny loaf of bread and her stomach growled when she finished eating and the girl picked up a photo but the face of the father was ripped off.

"Nii-san, Kaa-san I miss you." the girl said and she curled on the ground as her foot stuck out the bush as she fell asleep.

-time skip-

"Hey there's a little girl here!" a woman with long spiky untamed brown hair, vertical slit-like pupils, enlongated canine teeth and nails and fang markings on her cheeks.

"she's malnourished lets get her to the hospital Tsume." a man with similar markings on his face.

"Kuro good job finding her."Tsume said to her wolf companion

"thanks." Kuro said as Tsume picked the girl up and the four left quickly to the leaf.

-Hospital-

"she's extremly malnourished." Tsume said

"put her here." a nurse said," thank you go tell the hokage. come help. we cant bath her right now shes fading and needs nourishment fast." the nurse hooked several bags to the girl who was as white as the sheet.(don't know the correct terms to use so i'm done, time skip here we come)

-Time skip- little girl's pov-

I blinked and saw a white room. i sat up and saw things attached to my arms

"you're awake." i looked over and saw a woman

"what's your name?" she asked. i looked at her

"I...'cough cough'" i started coughing

"oh here drink some water you were out for four days." the woman said. i drank the cold water

"is your throat better? can you tell me your name?" the woman said

" I'm K-Kanna." I said quietly. the woman wrote on the clipboard.

"I'll be back. there's a bathroom over there if you want to be clean. we didnt bath you because you were in dire need of medical treatment from being malnourished and there's a simple white kimono for you to where." the woman said and turned to leave

"But what about these." I asked

"silly me." the woman said and started to take them off

"i'll be back with food and the Hokage." the woman said and left. i hopped out of bed and saw i dirtied the pillow with my hair and dirt was on the sheet. i went into the bathroom and turned  the shower on hot

"even though i hate the heat but i need to be clean." Kanna said

-thirty minutes later-

I got out of the shower and dried off putting the kimono on and left the bathroom and saw the door open

"here's your food. Kanna and i brought the Hokage." I stared at the woman and she sat the tray down. Kanna sat and started eating

"oh your hair.it's white." the woman said," here let me brush and trim it. I'm Hana.So eat and I'll fix it Kanna."

-Third pov-

"Kanna Im Hiruzen Sarutobi im the Hokage can you tell me how old you are." Hiruzen said

"I'm six and a half." Kanna said

"where are your parents." Hiruzen asked. Kanna dropped her spoon and teared up as she lunged at Hiruzen crying

"tou-san killed kaa-san!"Kanna cried, "He killed nii-san. I ran away before he could get me!" Hiruzen held the crying girl

"Its okay your safe now. how about you join the ninja academy to protect yourself." Hiruzen said. Kanna looked at the old man

"But tou-san killed kaa-san because i can do this." Kanna said as water formed two flowers in her hair, "jiji."

"it's just a kekkei genkai. it's okay." Hiruzen said

"Kei Kai?" Kanna asked. Hiruzen chuckled and stood

"come on ill take you to the academy." Hiruzen said. Kanna trailed behind Hiruzen without shoes as she held his robes

-academy-

Hiruzen knocked and a guy with a scar across his nose slid the door open

"Hokage-sama what are you doing here?" the man asked

"dropping a new student off Iruka. she's still a little shaken." Hiruzen said. Kanna peeked her head out from behind Hiruzen

"But jiji no one's going to like me." Kanna said. Iruka crouched and held his hand out

"You won't know till you introduce yourself."Iruka said."i'm iruka and ill be your teacher."

Kanna grabbed his hand and a cold chill went through Iruka's skin.

"i'm Kanna Iruka-sensei."Kanna said

"okay class this is Kanna treat her well. any questions?" Iruka said. Kanna stood by Iruka and a girl with pink hair raised her hand.

"Sakura." Iruka said

"why's your hair white?" Sakura asked

"um Kaa-san said i'm special and a look alike like a family member from a long time ago." Kanna said

"the term is reincarnate, Kanna." Iruka said. Kanna looked at Iruka with her head tilted

"recanate." Kanna muttered

"it's a little tough but good try in pronouncing it, Kanna." Iruka said. "you can sit by Sasuke. Sasuke raise your hand." Kanna looked to a boy with the same black eyes as her. Kanna ducked her head

"okay." Kanna mumbled and went and sat

"alright lets get back to math." Iruka said

"well ill get out of your hair Iruka." Hiruzen said

"Hai Hokage-sama. class stand and bow thanking the Hokage for stoping by." Iruka said. the class bowed but Kanna looked at everyone inconfusion as Iruka went back to teaching.

-recess-

"Kanna come pick flowers with me im ino." a blonde said

"okay." Kanna said but before she could get to the blonde a group of girls stopped her that were two years older

"so Kanna's your name." one girl giggled

"you know it means God of nothing. right so you'll be nothing and have nothing." another girl said. Kanna froze as her mother getting stabbed flshed in her mind. Kanna's eyes teared and she turned and ran to a stream and sat at the base of a tree crying with the stream freezing as she sat there till the sun vanished and by the time she stopped crying and stared blankly at the stream

"here she is!" Kanna looked up and saw Iruka. her cheeks sticky with dried tears

"Kanna what happened to your eye?" Iruka asked, "and your face."

Kanna looked at Iruka in confusion then looked in the stream her right eye was an icy blue with a shattered look and she had creacks down her face.

"i dont know." Kanna said

"lets go to the hokage." Iruka said and picked Kanna up carrying her to the tower.
