Shadow woke up the next morning to the smell of food.

Man how much sleep did I get. 4 hours, that's not too bad.

When Shadow got downstairs he saw Shard and Ruby talking while Jewel made food and Wave was busy sleeping on the couch which Shadow could only smirk at. While Shadow also noticed that Shard wasn't paying any attention to her surrounding so he snuck up on her.

"What are you two talking about?" Shadow said behind Shard making Shard get startled while Ruby laughed.

"Shadow! You scared the life out of me!" Shard yelled making Shadow laugh more.

"Maybe you should pay attention to your surrounding." Shadow said smirking as he remember body checking Crystal. While simultaneously reminding his body that it should be sore.

Wave had woken up to Shard yelling so he immediately thought that it was the afternoon.

"Good afternoon guys." Wave said groggily.

"Wave it's still the morning you big loaf." Shard said rolling her eyes.

"Hey, I went to bed late last night!" Wave complained.

"How late?" Shadow said getting ready to call Wave weak then and there.

"12 am." Wave said.

"Only 12? Weak." Shadow said.

"When did you even get back Shadow?" Jewel asked entering the conversation.

"One this morning." Shadow said bluntly.

"How do you not look tired!?" Shard asked surprised.

"Trust me on the inside I'm exhausted and sore." Shadow said before yawning.

"Well at least you don't have practice today so you can rest." Shard said giving Shadow a kiss. Ruby's reaction was to make a disgusted face.

Jewel rolled her eyes to Ruby's reaction and chuckled.

"Your gonna be like that too someday Ruby." Jewel said still chuckling.

"As if." Ruby replied making another disgusted face.

"Well Shard and Shadow I think it's about time for you two to head to school." Jewel said.

So Shadow and Shard got ready for school.

Once they arrived at school they headed straight to class and saw Grass and Flame talking.

"Hey guys how'd you sleep after yesterday?" Shadow asked them.

"I've had better and worse sleep I'll say that. What about you mr disrespect?" Grass said smirking at him.

"Sore but I can function." Shadow said shoving Grass a little.

"You must be Shard, I think this is the first time we've truly met." Grass said.

"Yeah I've just not really been too social since I've gotten here. This place is nice though." Shard said.

"Yup. Looks like Shadow got lucky with you being his girlfriend." Grass said smirking at Shadow.

"Well anyways do you get to stay or what Grass?" Shadow asked.

"My Dad was true to his word and I get to stay here. But he'll be moving away to work but he plans on visiting often." Grass said smiling.

"Well that's good." Shadow replied.

While Grass and Shard were talking Shadow was looking at his phone and so was Flame.

"Wait one fucking minute. Does that say what I think it says." Flame said putting his glasses on and looking closer. (I may or may not be making a joke there.)

"What is it Flame?" Shadow asked while Shard and Grass cut their conversation short.

"Alright, so you guys know how Sylvia moved and said she wasn't coming back. Well I was looking at her social media and apparently she's got a new boyfriend and there's a picture of  her new boyfriend. And he looks like a discount Shadow, and when I say discount I mean 99% off discount." Flame said showing them the picture.

"What the hell? His teeth are fucked up and he looks like he's a drug addict. At least I have straight teeth." Shadow said. (I'll leave the way he looks to your guy's imagination and when I imagine him I start to laugh.)

"Wait there's more she just posted something else." Flame said looking closer.

"Well that's interesting. She says that their families are planning on moving here soon. Well I'll say one thing about that. She is going to be livid to see Shadow date someone else, if she does move back here I want to see the show that will be her meeting Shard. I'll have to bring my popcorn." Flame said.

"She always seemed crazy to me. No offense Shadow." Grass said.

"I don't care now that I look back she was crazy, I just didn't realize it. She might even be crazier than my parents, no wonder they liked her." Shadow said.

Then the bell rung reminding them to sit down.

Classes went by fast that day and Shadow was glad, all he wanted was to go home and rest his aching bones. So once the bell rung he left as fast as he could before he remembered that he lived with Shard so it was only right he waited for her.

After 5 minutes of waiting she got out of the school and met up with Shadow.

"Hey Shadow sorry I took so long I was talking to my friends." Shard said hugging him.

"It's fine but let's head home I want to just lay on the couch if Wave hasn't taken it over." Shadow said as they began to walk.

Once they got back Shadow check his phone and saw Flame texted him.

Flame: check Sylvia's most recent post.

Shadow: alright I'll check it out

So Shadow checked her not recent post that read.

The deals finished moving back where I was born and raised, and my boyfriend and his family are coming too.

Shadow immediately went to text flame.

Shadow: the balls on that bitch

Flame: ikr

Shadow: we gotta send this to Grass and Speed they're gonna laugh their asses off

Flame: already on it

Flame: why don't we make a group chat with the 4 of us?

Shadow: go ahead

And with that Flame did just that and added the 4 of them.

Grass: the balls on her

Shadow: yeah that's what I said

Speed: well I mean you would know wouldn't you Shadow?

Shadow: you've gotta be kidding me Speed

Speed: I am sheesh someone can't take a joke

Flame: well I'm surprised you didn't expect him to make that joke Shadow why do you think Speed is disliked by so much of the school, they can't take his jokes

Grass: anyway what do you think made her want to love back because it definitely isn't to see Ruby that's for sure

Shadow: yeah which is pretty sad when you think about it

Flame: she's definitely trying to make you jealous Shadow I mean her boyfriend is just a discount Shadow. I think the only thing he has over you is height but idk

Shadow: yeah probably

Shadow: anyways I'm gonna be hanging out with Shard and Ruby so see ya later guys

Speed: alright well we'll be here making fun of you

Shadow: IDC
