When Shadow woke up he got ready to start the day and saw that Shard was already awake downstairs in the lounge.

"Morning sleepyhead." Shard said to him.

"Who are you calling a sleepyhead it isn't that late it's only 10."

"Whatever you say Shadow." Shard said.

"Oh yeah forgot to mention I'll be hanging out with Grass today." Shadow told her.

"Alright." Shard said giving him a little side eye. "Don't do anything too stupid."

"I won't." Shadow said before kissing Shard.

When Shadow got to the place he was meeting Grass at, which was the park.

"Hey Shadow!" Shadow heard someone yell.

"Hi Grass nice to see you."

"You sore after yesterday?" Grass asked

"Yeah, still can't believe we lost." Shadow said.

"Same but at least we know we gave it our all." Grass pointed out.

"Well most of us did." Shadow corrected.

"I guess that's fair." Grass replied.

"Remember we only need to win half of our games to make the playoffs." Shadow said to Grass.

Well what do ya want to do?" Grass asked.

Extremely short chapter. I just wanted to release this since my knee surgery is tomorrow. So expect more updates in the next 6-8 weeks while I'm recovering.
