"nah, i'm not interested in guys right now."

"then we'll find you a girl to hook up with!"

jennie frowned like a child at the girl sitting cross legged on her couch. joohyun smirked. "this is my apartment, remember. my rules."

"we aren't clubbing in your freaking apartment."

"but we are deciding what to do in my apartment."

"then let's go to get coffee! or ice cream?"

"your obsession with ice cream is unhealthy."

"no my obsession to see my boyfriend is unhealthy."

"yeah. i third wheeled on her little 'coffee date' which she claimed," joohyun waved air quotes with her fingers. "'it's not a date, he's just my friend.' friend, my ass."

"some guy named jin. damn him and his attractive shoulders."

"you have a shoulder fetish? i'll keep that in mind when we go clubbing."

"i know!" jennie chimed, ruffling joohyun's hair before getting up.

"it's so goddamn loud in here! i can't even breathe!" joohyun whined, complaining for probably the umpteenth time. jennie groaned.

"my noise really won't add to the calamity in here!"

"good! now you can suffer just like i did with you this morning."

"yuck! it smells like beer and sweaty teenagers..." joohyun added, jennie turned around to face the pessimistic girl.

"i didn't realize you'd be this crabby!"

"i'm always like this, you should know!"

"you're the worst!"

"i know!" joohyun smirked to herself, taking this as a win.

"ugh, whatever. just come here." snatching the antisocial's hand in hers, jennie brought the girl to the bar.

"hi, i'll take an iced water. she'll have something strong, surprise her."

"i will not—"

"oh yes you will."

"oh look! looks like tae is calling me," jennie faked a call. "looks like i better take this."

"you bitch!" joohyun pouted sourly. "you owe me!"

"whatever joo."

"i'm being goddamn serious."

"okay."

joohyun scoffed, watching the girl make a hasty exit. not even one minute could she have in "quiet" peace, someone began to speak again.

"this doesn't look like your scene."

"no shit." she grumbled, running a hand through her dark hair. "not in the mood to talk sorry—"

she turned, eyeing the man who had been speaking to her.

"the name's jackson."

"i didn't ask." she snapped, giving him a strange look which he shrugged off.

"you might need it later on princess."

"you don't know me."

"i know enough."

"like?"

"you dress rich. you must be."

"i am, why does that matter?"

"you're the one who wanted to know."

"uck." she sipped at her drink. "still not in the mood to talk."

"you're rather pretty."

"yeah, sorry. i'm going to shut this down, right now." she got up from her seat, flashing him a fake smile.

"hm, okay."

"thank you." she grabbed her purse. "i really have to get going now, i hope i'll see you around?"

"sudden change of heart?"

"maybe it's the drinks." she joked, running a hand through her hair. "see you jackson."

"bye."

and jennie watched the whole scene unfold with her signature smirk.
