"listen to me jennie!" lisa yelled, banging open the door of her room. jennie looked up with startled eyes, red and tired.

"you need to open the hell up and tell me exactly what's been going on in your life. i'm tired of these secrets, you always closed off about everything!"

the girl jennie considered practically her younger sister didn't stop there. she was crying now too, it made jennie's heart sink.

"why...what's happening to you? I've never seen you so out of it for such a long time? please tell me unnie, what's bothering you? i don't know, chaeyoung doesn't know, nobody knows!"

"it's taehyung! it's him, it's joohyun, mainly that girl. i regret so much from these past few months, meeting him, texting him. everything lisa! if it wasn't for him i wouldn't even know joohyun! i wouldn't have gotten blackmailed by her! i would just be happy with you, chaeng, jisoo, and yoongi! i wouldn't have broken up with him! i would've been happy, writing my own music, not getting stressed over stupid arguments i have with a guy i haven't even met! don't you see how stupid of a fool i am? wrecking myself over a guy who clearly has girlfriend issues, and doesn't even have the guts of seeing me face to face? and it's not just that, it doesn't end there! i'm tired of acting like the bold, fearless girl i usually am. i miss the girl i was last year! everything's changed since i met him. i really want to let go of everything, him, this whole year."

lisa sat next to jennie, arms around each other. strange enough, jennie started to laugh.

"i should be crying, i am on the inside. but i can't right now. this...venting like this felt so so good. thank you lis, really."

"i-it did?"

"yes."

"i'm glad."

jennie smiled before tapping a spot on her now exposed collarbone. "this hickey on your collarbone is too cute for me to stay upset. and cute things come from jungkook, did he do this?"

there was a long quiet pause, not awkward. lisa looked away, embarrassed, eyes closed.

"what is wrong with you?" lisa wheezed, sniffling before a small smile spread across her face.

"my life is definitely fucked up right now. but i'm really happy that something is going right for you lisa."
