Chapter 8, Dads Journal
Chapter 8
Elsa's POV
He looked stunned. He kept turning around and around. I turned to get a book off one of the shelves, and he ran into me.
"I'm so sorry," he said, apologizing.
"I'm fine, thank you," I said, being polite. I took a book off the shelve I was pushed into, and put it on the table. It had a big snowflake in the middle of the cover. I sat down, Jack sitting next to me.
"What's that?" He asked, pointing to the book.
"My fathers journal. When ever I feel as though I need advice, I read his entry's and try to find something to help the situation." I said, opening to the first page. I flipped through the pages till I came to one that caught my eye. '
We're leaving tomorrow, to go to my nieces wedding. I don't want to leave. Elsa could hurt someone, or herself. She's a danger to all who know about her powers. We have been trying to control it, but nothing works.'
I read it over and over again in my head. Tears started to gather in my eyes. They called me a danger to others. That I may hurt someone. That I can't control it. It started to get cooler in the room as some of the windows started to frost over. Jack must have read what I was looking at, because he wrapped his arm around me. It felt nice, and I felt safe. I was still crying softly. He started rocking me back and forth. After a while, I looked up at him, and he look down at me. He gave me a signature grin. It made me giggle.
"What's the smile for?" I asked, still giggling.
"Just you, and how you are," he said. I blushed and he laughed.
"Your blushing," he said, with a goofy smile on his perfect round face.
"No I-I'm not," I said stuttering, and blushing harder. He couldn't stop laughing. "Oh be quite," I said throwing a pillow at his face. Now it's my turn to laugh.
After about 5 minuets, I cleaned myself up, fixed my blond hair, and changed into a black dress that reached my knees. I wanted to talk to my parents, so I was headed to the hill. I passed Anna on the way out, she knew what I was doing, I do it at least once a month. She hugged me and told me to say hi to them for her. As I was walking out of the gates, someone grabbed my wrist. I looked down to my wrist and then up to the person holding me back.
"Where are you going?" Jack asked.
"I'm going to see some old friends," I stated.
He let go and then asked, "Why are you wearing all black?"
"I'm going to a grave, it's to show respect," I said, walking out of the gates and into a carriage. We went up to the hill. I told the driver that I wouldn't need a ride back.
"Mom, Dad, how have you been? Oh I wish you were here with me and Anna. Things are getting complicated and I need your help." I said to the stone graves. I sat down next to both of them and just started thinking. Whenever I need help, I go here, and think up a solution. I feel like they help my thinking, and somehow I always get out of the problem all right. I miss them desperately. Sometimes I stay up here for a few hours. I stayed a few minuets more, and started heading down the hill. As I was walking, I tripped on something. I used my powers to keep me up. "Woah," I said to no one in particular. After that, I just kept walking back to the castle. When I got back, I went to the kitchen. I am a little hungry, so I was just going to make some soup, and let the maids off. After I ate, I went back to my room to get dressed back into my blue gown. As I was headed back downstairs to meet up with the others, Anna ran up to me with her boyfriend Kristoff.
"Elsa, Elsa, your never going to believe what happened!" She said. I started to get worried.
"What happened?" I asked worriedly.
I'm sorry, I know this is mean. Deal with it :) I'll post some more either today or tomorrow. I have a lot of ideas for this story. Stay tuned! Byeeeeeee
