Chapter 52, The Wedding
Elsa's POV
Just because I may be having a power crisis, doesn't mean we're not having a wedding. Sure, it's tomorrow, and yes, I have no idea on what to do about these crazy powers. I guess live with it? I think I'll have to.
I groaned, getting the attention of Anna, who was sitting, well, more like laying, on the couch. She groaned as well, and I groaned again. We went back on forth for a minuet, the stopped to laugh at ourselves. Do sisters normally do this? Well, I guess the better question is when has out family ever been normal?
"Whatcha groaning about?" She asked, lying upside down on the couch.
"Nothing. Just stressed about the wedding tomorrow. Were you nervous before your wedding?" I asked, turning to her.
"Yes," she answered quickly. We laughed. "Very much," Anna added.
"What if something goes wrong? What if my powers act up? What if I hurt someone?" I asked quickly, starting to pace.
"Elsa? Your making it snow and I'm cold. Calm down. You'll be fine! I'll be there with you, right beside you," she said, giving me a hug. "I'm getting some chocolate," she said before walking out. I chuckled at her Anna-ness and figured that I should, seeing as it's almost dinner time, check on the food that we're having for dinner.
I gracefully walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. Whatever it was, it smelled delicious.
"Queen Elsa! To what do we owe the pleasure," a cook said, vowing to me. That got the whole staffs attention, and they all bowed.
"Oh please, not so formal. I just wanted to know what we would be having for supper," I said.
"I'm sorry your majesty, but Princess Anna made us swear not to tell you what we would be having," one cook said.
"Did she? Alright then, let it be a surprise. Thank you," I said, walking out of the kitchen. Surprise for dinner? Hmm...
I zoned out and before I knew it, fell asleep on a bench in the art room where all the paintings are.
---
"Elsa? Elsaaaaa? Snowflake? Ugh. ELSA!" Someone screamed, making me scream and freeze them to the nearest wall. I was about to unfreeze it and apologize till I saw who it was.
"You know, just for that, I'm going to make you stay there," I said, putting my hands on my hips. Jack looked at me pleadingly.
"Please let me down! You can't keep me here forever!" He yelled playfully.
"Is that a challenge?" I said, smirking. His smile disappeared.
"No," he said. I laughed and thawed him off the wall. "That wasn't very nice," he said.
"You deserved it," I said back.
"I think I deserve a kiss," he said. I shook my head playfully no and he sighed. "Just come on," he chuckled, grabbing my hand and dragging me into the dining hall. Anna and Kristoff were talking, but stopped to greet me.
"Hey Elsa. What's for dinner? Anna won't tell me," Kristoff said.
"Yeah," Jack agreed.
"She won't tell me either," I commented. We all looked at Anna, or where Anna was. Her seat was empty. Suddenly, servants appeared, placing many breakfast foods onto the table. Breakfast? For dinner? Anna soon followed and sat in her spot.
"Din-est is served!" She said, digging into chocolate pancakes. We all chuckled at her decision, but went with it. That was the best din-est I've ever had. It's also the only one I've ever had.
After dinner, we all decided to go to bed extra early so we'd be ready in the morning. They made me and Jack sleep in different rooms, and u have no idea why. They being Kristoff and Anna. Oh well. I went to bed that night feeling nervous, and excited at the same time.
---
The dress was beautiful. I was shocked when I saw it. The straps went across my shoulders. The top part had Arendale designs on it in crystals. The diamond belt connected the top to the bottom. The bottom flowed out nicely, but it wasn't poofed out. I had my hair in a braided bun. A crown on top of my head. The cape that connected to the back of the top piece trailed behind my dress and was a little transparent. A bouquet of flowers tied in a white bow waited for me on my bed.
I was starting to get a little frazzled. I didn't know if I could do this. I've been searching my whole life to find my own love. Now I've got him, and I'm marrying him. Just... what then?
There were 5 soft knocks on the door. I had locked it because I was getting dressed.
"Elsa? Please I know your in there, everyone's wondering why your late... I know your nervous, but he is too. I'm right out here for you, don't make him wait... You've been dreaming of this moment for years and years, don't let it all slip through... Do you want to build a snowman?" She sang softly. I started crying through half of it, and was wiping the tears from my eyes. I unlocked the door to see a smiling Anna.
"I do," I said, giving her a big hug.
---
The music played as I walked down the aisle with Anna by my side. She was the only family I had left. I saw Jack at the alter in his black and white suit, looking very handsome. He also looked at me with his mouth open. He wasn't the only one though. Several people in the audience gawked at my dress, but my eyes were glued to his. Anna led me up the stairs and I took Jacks hands in mine.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too," I said back.
The end. Well, probably. I might have a few little chapters now and then, but this will be the last proper chapter. They got married! Yay! Also, that song by Anna isn't mine and I take no credit for it. The picture of the dress isn't mine either. I loved writing this book and might write more in the future. Have a nice night everyone!
