Chapter 42, Stay or Go

Elsa's POV (DONT PLAY THE SONG YET, YOU WILL KNOW WHEN)

I woke up to my cell. My dark, cold cell. I wanted to know where I was.

"Where am I? I demand to know where I am!" I yelled, going close to the barred walls. A man came down, stomping and huffing.

"Your on a boat, now if you don't shut up, I will personally cut you tongue." He said, walking back outside. I stopped talking, because I knew that he would do it. Then, another man came down, with a wire cutter. I shivered at the thought of what he was going to do to me.

"I'm not going to hurt you, come out of the corner, Queen Elsa," they man said.

"How can I believe you?!" I hissed at him. He took the tool and cut the lock to my door. Why would he do that?

"Okay, that's understandable, but hear me out," he said, slowly putting the tool to the ground. I came closer, but not to close, I still don't know what he is going to do. "I have this thing, where I know if someone is lying. And you, are not. There is no use for you here if you don't know. I'm trying to set you free. The other men have plans for you. Evil plans. Ruthless animals. I'm going to come closer, to undo your chains okay?" He asked, moving closer at a slow pace. I let him come and cut my chains. My hands were finally free! I walked out of the cage and froze the wall.

"You don't know how good that felt..." I said smiling.

"Come, we must go before they find us. They will surly kill you. They have a magic arrow, one with powers. It can and will kill you." He said. They have an arrow!? What don't they have geez... I followed him down the hall and I saw a door. They door led outside. "It's through there," he said in a soft voice.

"STOP! SHE IS ESCAPING!" I heard a guard yell. We quickly went to the top of the boat to get away from them, but there were more up there. I couldn't touch the water, I would freeze it.

"Well well well, look what we have here. Little Elsa is trying to escape. Men, the arrow," the leader said. One of them handed it to him.

"Stop!" I heard a man say. But it wasn't one of these men. I knew that voice. A man in a hoodie and thin brown shorts formed in front of me, with a ginger hair woman.

"Anna! Jack!" I said, hugging them both.

"Move boy," he said.

"No," Jack stated. The man pulled back his arrow. Jack doesn't know it will kill him! I saw him about to release. I pushed Jack out of the way, and it hit my chest. All I felt was pain. I clutched my stomach, but fell in the process. I heard booming laughter, then silence.

"Elsa! Elsa, Elsa come on!" Jack said, looking into my eyes. "Stay with me Elsa! Don't you dare close those eyes! You stay awake! Anna, go get help!" I heard him say.

"Jack, it hurt so much..." I said, trying to speak.

"I know I know, but your alright. Your okay. Elsa! Stay with me!" He said, taking my hand and putting it to his face. He was crying. I felt a tear drop from my eye. I took my thumb and wipes his tear. He looked at me with his sad blue eyes.

"You have to fall, before you can fly," I said with a smile. "Jack," I tried to take in deep breaths but it got harder. I felt blood start to cover my dress. "I love you to the moon and back," I said softly.

"No, no don't say that. Don't you dare say that! It's not over Elsa! Your going to be alright!" He said. I felt my eye lids getting heavier. "Elsa! Stay with me!" He said. "You can't go! Elsa! I still need you! I love you Elsa!" He said, kissing my hand. He was full out crying, he put my head on his lap and cried.

"Jack, can you do something for me?" I asked softly, as it was harder to talk.

"Anything," he said looking down to me.

"Will you sing me a song?" I asked. He looked really sad, but he sang through his tears and sniffles. (A/N queue the music!)

Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one if you want me to
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you

And I... I'm feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all
And I... will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl

Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you

And I... will swallow my pride
You're the one that I love
And I'm saying goodbye

Say something, I'm giving up on you
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
And anywhere I would've followed you (Oh-Ooh)
Say something, I'm giving up on you

Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something...

He cried into my chest when he was done. "Don't leave me Elsa." He whispered.

"I'll try not to," I said with a slight smile. He pulled me into a long kiss. I could taste the salt from his tears. I kissed back, for it may be my last. He pulled away and stroked my hair.

"Promise me, promise you won't leave," he said.

"Jack! I found help!" Anna said. She brought grandpabbie.

"How did you get here that fast?" He asked through his tears.

"North gave me a snow globe, can you help her?" She asked the tiny troll. He waved his hand around my head, and my wound.

"Here, drink this. It's a 50/50 shot. She lives or dies. We won't know for a few days." He said, giving the liquid to Jack who helped me drink it. "It's going to hurt a little," he said.

"Ah, ow," I said, trying not to scream.

"Shh, it's okay, it's okay, shhh," Jack said, soothing me.

"We need to take her to the castle," grandpabbie said. Jack picked me up bridal style and flew me to the castle. I felt myself fading. From life? From consciousness? I don't know. "She can fall asleep till she is somewhere she can stay, because you can't move her when she goes to sleep!" I heard grandpabbie yelled up to Jack.

"Stay awake my snowflake, stay with me, just a little longer," he said to me. I nodded and tried to stay awake, but it was hard. I looked up to Jack. His eyes were still a little red but there was pure determination on his face. He looked down and flashed me his signature smirk. I gave him a weak smile and he kept flying. My eye lids wanted to fall, but I told them no. I tried hopelessly to stay awake. We finally arrived and I was placed in my room. Jack was there too. He put me on my bed and sat next to me. "Your going to be okay, alright? Your going to be just fine," he said with a sniffle. "Come back to me, promise me that," he said, looking into my eyes.

"I promise Jack," I said. My eye lids closed and I heard a slight sob as I fell into darkness.

Jacks POV

She closed her eyes and I let out a small sob. This might be the last time I see those big beautiful blue eyes. I held my head in my hands. If only I had gotten the arrow instead.

"It's her choice Jack. Whether she lives or dies. She will have to find a reason to live, and a reason to die. It's her choice, her fate rests in her own hands," grandpabbie said, walking in.

"She promised she would come back to me," I said, looking to him.

"Come with me Jack, Anna is waiting for you," he said, walking out. I got up, kissed Elsa's forehead, and went with him. Anna was in the kitchen, surprisingly still intact. I thought by know she would look like me.

"Is she already asleep?" Anna asked, concern in her voice. I nodded.

"Not trying to be rude, but your not upset? She was your sister," I said. She flashed a smile. A smile?

"She isn't gone Jack, just sleeping. If I know anything about Elsa, it's that she never gives up. Never." Anna said. "So I have every hope that she will come back," she said. That makes sense, but I'm not so sure.

"We will know if she lives or dies tomorrow morning," grandpabbie said.

"You can stay in one of our guest rooms grandpabbie," Anna aid sweetly.

"Thank you Anna," he said back.

"GRANDPABBIE?!?" Kristoff yelled, running into the room. "Hi," Kristoff said. They all laughed, but I couldn't even smile. I felt sick, my heart aches, and my snowflake could die tomorrow.

Elsa's POV

It was really dark. Like, Pitch Black dark. No pun intended. A light appeared behind me. I turned around to see Jack, my Jack. I ran to him, wanting to be in his arms. But, he pushed me away from him in anger. I tried to speak but couldn't.

"Elsa," someone said from behind me. I turned to see Anna. I ran over to her, but she pushed me to the ground. "Elsa!" Her face turned to horror as she was being pulled away but something unknown.

"Elsa!" Jack yelled. I turned as he clutched his chest. His staff appeared in my hands, broken in two. "Why Elsa? Why did you do this to us?"he asked, falling to the ground. I ran over, but he vanished into a cloud of smoke.  I fell to my knees. I wanted to curl up and cry, but no tears came out.

"You have to choose Elsa, Jack or Anna?" I heard a voice say to me. I turned every which way, but couldn't identify the voice. They want me to choose? I can't choose!

"I can't! That's impossible! I love them both!" I yelled.

"Choose!" It boomed. I flinched.

"Neither, if you want to kill someone, kill me. I can't bare to watch them die, so kill me instead," I said. It was true, I couldn't watch one of them die.

"Then die!" It yelled as I was plunged into darkness.

Is Elsa alive? Is she dead? Want to find out? This is quite the plot twist huh? Well, bye my frosties :) I'm so sorry I did this to you guys
