Chapter 38, Parents and Weird Poems

Jacks POV

"Jack!" Anna yelled, running into the room. "Yea?" I said. I had been pretty much doing nothing cause Elsa wasn't here, or so I thought. "Where have you been!" She said, walking in. "I'm here," I stated. "No one told you..." She whispered. "Told me what?" I asked, started to get worried. "Elsa, she passed out of stress," she said. Elsa, passed out. "Where is she?" I asked quickly, not wanting to waist time. "You must wait, I haven't told you everything!" Anna rambled on. "Where is she!" I demanded. "Infirmary," Anna said. I flew fast down hallways and stairs well till I reached my destination. "Jack wait!" I hear Anna yell, but I was already gone. I flew to the infirmary, and asked the nurse which room she was in. They took me to the room and opened the door. I went in by myself and the shut the door. Elsa was turning blue, ice blue. "I tried to tell you," I heard Anna say from behind me. "What happened," I said, trying to be a man and not cry. "I found her, on the floor, passed out. I took her here, but noticed that her heart was starting to freeze." She said, walking over to me. "What do we do?" I asked, looking to her with tears eyes. "Nothing. Only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart," Anna said. True love. "Why is she turning blue?" I asked, touching her frostbitten skin. It was ice cold. "she is freezing, from the inside. Her heart has ice in it, turning her into a statue. it happened to me," Anna said.
Elsa suddenly jumped out of her spot on the bed. She wasn't full blue, but turning. "Elsa!" I said, lunging forward to embrace her. "Jack, what happened. Ah!" She said, realizing she was freezing. She got up and ran out of the room. I flew behind her, making sure she would be okay. She ran up stairs and she went into a room. I flew in to find her no where to be seen. She came out from behind the corner which was blocking her from my view, and touched a part of her wall. The whole wall started moving, Brock after Brock until there was a passage. "Woah," I said, looking to the wall. She stepped through and walking through the passage. I was close behind but gave her space. She started shivering and hugging her self. I had to move farther away, because I give off cold air, probably speeding up the process. We came into this big room with couches and fancy furniture. She walked over to a cupboard and opened it, going through every inch of space, throwing it on to the floor. She pulled out a tiny vale of white liquid and popped open the top. She drank half of it and put he cap back on. Her skin turned to normal and she stopped shivering. "What was that?" I asked her. "When drastic things happen, my powers start to turn me into... ice. When it happened when i was little, we went to the trolls and they gave me this," She said, putting up the half empty bottle of white liquid. "And told me that if something were to happen, to use this. Ive always had it in case something did happen," She stopped. Tears brimmed her eyes. She sat on the floor and i walked over, sitting with her. "Whats wrong? What happened?" I asked her, even though i knew. Her parents, they sent everyone letters, including me.

Dear Jack,

We left, and are not to return. Some dark magic was working its way back into a destructive form, so it must be stopped. If you got this letter, it means that we didnt make it, and finished the job. Im sorry we cant be there to watch you two get married, or have our grandchildren. Take care of Elsa, she may be upset when she hears the news. Be sure to make sure she stays in good health. Make sure she is happy and is always loved. We bless your wedding. Your a great guy, perfect for Elsa. Welcome to our family Jack. Never forget us, pass on out legend. Tell your children to believe in us, in the moon. Make sure they grow up right and proper, but know how to have a little fun to. Goodbye Jack, you'll be a great ruler, husband, and father.

-The King and Queen of Ice

I smiled at the thought of our children. I knew Elsa and Anna would be crushed. I was told to help Elsa through this, and that i will. "There gone Jack. There gone, again." She said, crying into my chest. My hoodie was being soaked, but i didn't care. I held her in my arms and stroked her hair, telling her everything was going to be alright. She fell asleep of exhaustion on my lap. I watched her sleep. She took deep, long breaths. Her face had been stained with salty tears. Her hair was messy, but she was still beautiful. Her makeup had ran down her face. When she was crying, ice and frost had spread from her body onto the floor, covering a small spot where she layed. I got up carefully, making sure not to drop her head onto the floor. I picked her up and carried her through her little passage and onto her bed. I put her down and went to the window. i looked out into the sunny sky. Or what was left of it. It was now cloudy and rainy. It started to drizzle, leaving water droplets on the window. I closed the window so the water wouldnt come in and walked out of her bedroom door, ever so slightly, making sure not to wake her up. I went downstairs to find Kristoff, by himself. "Hows Anna?" I asked quietly, sitting across from him at the table. "She wont even take her emergency chocolate. Its bad," He said, looking to me. "Elsa fell asleep of exhaustion." I stated. "Anna went to sleep to, oh Jack, what are we going to do?" He asked, looking to me for an answer. "I have no idea Kris, no idea," I said, looking to the window.

Elsa's POV

I woke up and had a really bad headache. Actually, it felt more like a migraine. I sat up and clutched my head, that felt like it was going to burst. I had to get some medicine or this was going to get worse. I got up very slowly, but still got a little dizzy. Jack wasn't with me when I woke up, meaning he was somewhere else. I had to walk down stairs to get the medicine, but it was hard to walk. I could hardly see strait. "Jack," I whispered, trying to use my voice. "Jack," I said a little louder. "JACK!" I yelled, seeing how far I could go. That made my head throb, but it got the job done. Soon Jack was with me, helping me down the stairs. "Are you alright Els?" He asked, very concerned. "Head hurts bad." Was all I could say. After the last step I walked to the big bathroom, Jack close behind me, making sure I don't get hurt. He's so sweet. I went into the bathroom and got some medicine which I took immediately. I had to eat something, it would speed up the process a little, but I could see strait on I was no longer dizzy. "Are you okay?" Jack asked me again. "Better, but I need food, come," I said, taking his hand in mine and walking to the kitchen. "You, sit down, I will be back with food," Jack said, giving me a small kiss before leaving me alone with Kristoff at the table. "You okay?" He asked, looking at me. "I've definitely been better," I admitted. "We all have," he said. He was right to. "Where's Anna?" I asked, looking around but not seeing her anywhere. "Upstairs, asleep probably," Kristoff said. Oh no, I know where this is going. I put my head on the table. "She isn't eating her chocolate is she?" I said with a sigh. "No," he answered. "Tell Jack I'll be right back," I said, getting up. He nodded and I walked to Anna's room. I did our little knock. "Anna? Please I know your in there, I've been wondering where you've been. They say have courage, and I'm trying to, im right out here for you, just let me in. We only have each other, just you and me. What are we going to do?" I said to her what she said to me when they left us in the boat crash. "Do you wanna build a snowman?" I asked, my voice cracking. The door nob started to turn and a teary eyed Anna appeared. "You remember," she said. "Of course I remember, I always listened," I said softly. She pulled me into a hug and we stood there, comforting each other. "So," I said, sitting her in her messed up bed and walking over to her dresser. I grabbed the large box of chocolates I put on top so she couldn't reach, and sat down next to her. "Stress food?" I asked, looking to her. "Stress food," she answered. I smiled and opened the container. She popped one into her mouth and said, "ahhhhhhh," and then another. I ate one to. "Now, your husbands worried about you, and I'm headed down cause Jack made me food, are you coming?" I asked, standing up. I held out my hand and she took it. We walked down the hallway, and down the stairs. We walked into the kitchen to see Kristoff in the same spot and Jack was still cooking. Anna put her hand on Kristoff's back. He looked behind him, stood up, and gave Anna a hug. From behind her back, he mouthed a 'thank you,' in which I mouthed back 'your welcome.'

"Queen Elsa," a guard said, coming from behind me, scaring the snowflakes out of me. I clutched my heart. "You scared me," I said, looking to him. "I'm sorry my queen, my apologies, but this just came for you," he said, handing me a note. "Thank you," I said, taking the note and walking to the study to read it. It didn't have a name attached, so who sent it? I sat in my chair and opened the letter.

Your future is bleak,
your kingdom will splinter,
your land shall be cursed with an unending winter,
with blasts of cold will come a dark art,
and a ruler with a frozen heart,
then all will perish in snow and ice,
Unless you are freed with a sword sacrifice.

I read the words over and over again. Your land will be cursed by an unending winter. Like I did to Arendale. I started to pace, trying to figure out how this person knew. This letter wasn't from Arendale, I know it. I can tell. "Hey sis, why the pacing? Your making the ball room chandelier shake," Anna said, skipping into the room.

Hey guys, how's everyone? I hope good. Almost 800 reads!!! I know, I know, bla bla bla. But it's a big deal to me. Well, write to you later. Bye my frosties
