This is a mansion!

'Not just any mansion' Vanessa sighed.

I turned towards her confused.

'this is where Ice lived, where her parents died and where she first killed' Derek stated. How can someone know so much about her past? or is it just a coincidence.

'Is this a coincidence?' Claranda spoke.

'threatened by the very people who tried to kill Ice is the past and now kidnapped and brought back to where she once lived, where they killed her parents, where she killed them.' she sighed mentally. 'this cant be a coincidence'

'we'll talk about this later for now we need to rescue her' I snapped. Who knows what could be happening right now.

If this isn't a coincidence then it may be someone out for revenge and now they that they have who their looking for there's no telling what their doing to her.

'he's right we need to move out' Lee agreed.

'alright, Vanessa how are things looking?' Derek spoke.

'there are many people in this building and some with powers. What bothers me is that there are three amongs them that are able to block me fom their minds kind off like Ice. I can also sense cyrum.' Vanessa reported.

'do you sense Ice?' I asked her.

'yeah she's in a room with the three others that can block me from their minds. I cant contact Ice because something is blocking me. My guess is that they restrained her with cyrum' She said alarmingly.

'we've gotta move' Derek demanded.

On cew the agents who accompanied us burst into the mansion. Gun shots could be heard along with bodies falling on the ground.

With the distraction in hand I sneaked into the mansion along with Vanessa and Claranda by my side heading towards Ice with Vanessa as our guide.

I saw a couple of man rounding the corner, shooting them with ease we went on.

"were getting closer" Vanessa whispered as we shot another group. Were running into more of them the farther we go so we've got to be.

Suddenly Vanessa just froze.

"whats wrong?" Claranda hissed quietly since we were sneaking past a group running our of bullets while they have ones with cyrums.

"It happened it finally happened." she whispered to herself fear in her eyes. I shot two down while Claranda threw a dagger at the next one.

"What finally happened?" I asked in curiousity but alarmed. Please tell me nothing bad happened to Ice. She cant be-

"Ice finally snapped" Vanessa whispered horstly before a scream rang throughtout the mantion shocking me before a blast of cold hit mne making me fly into the wall behind me.

What the-

I wince as I heard another scream and was hit by another blast of cold. I opened my eyes to see ice appearing in random spots starting to cover everywhere.

"im sure you've noticed the change in her lately, and I'm sure you all figured out what may happen" 

"look, she's not only the best agent we have but someone we love regardless" 

"but when the time comes, I will do anything I can do to keep the agency and everyone else safe and I trust you all will too" 

"as it is your responsibility"

she blocked it off and by the looks of it she blew.

this is what I'm afraid of yet surprise it hasn't happened yet.

all these emtions she's been blocking off over the years, the thick darkness surrounding her and her heart.

when she blows she will most likely hurt everyone even herself.

Ice!

I grunt getting up brushing some ice off of me. I regained my balance before going on. I may not know where Ice is like Vanessa but with this power it can only be one person.

I tried to catch my breath as another cold wave came and I heard her scream again but this time it sounded saddening like she was sobbing.

I ignored the cold and picked up my pace heating myself with my power.

I trudged thorught the ice and snow that appeared heading towards the source of the screams. Another sceam ran throught this time full of pain shaking the now frozen building.

I stumbled a little on the ice before regaining my balance. I sighed in relief and froze as I heard a crack ringing throughtout the hall slowly looking up.

My eyes widenned as I saw icicles on the roof shaking a little before falling towards me. Instinctively I created a wall of fire around me not remembering the most important thing. Ice's ice cant be broken or melted.

I closed my eyes with no time to move out of the way waiting for impact but only felt cold water? I snapped my eyes open shivering to see the ice and snow around me melting along with the icicles that came in contact with my flames.  I don't know if I should be glad or worried.

I continued on keeping my fire around me but it was getting harder as what it seems like a bizzard was forming. I ran wincing as another scream ran throught making the blizzard stronger.

Each screams implifying it each full of different emotions Happiness, anger, pain, guilt, fear. Its an emotional rollercoaster.

The blizzard increased at some point I could even feel the cold even with using my power which I'm getting tired from using. If I'm like this how are the others faring? they dont have the power to warm themselves like I do.

"I'm close" I muttered as I walked down a hall that was colder and covered in thick ice unlike the others with a frozen door at the end of the hall.

I shivered as I felt colder and colder approaching the door, by now I'm dragging my feet thats long gone numb feeling heavy. I looked down and saw Ice forming on my foot.

My eyes widenned as I saw it spreading and my right hand that I was blocking my face with started freezing. No no no!

I tried moving around but my limbs were freezing until I couldn't move anymore, yards away from the door. The door seperating me from Ice.

I felt the ice coming up to my shoulders barely feeling it with my inwardly frozen limbs. "Crystalline" I whispered as the ice came closer to my neck. if this goes on I'm going to be frozen solid and I may or may not live throught this.

I heard Ice scream once again making me wince since I'm closer but freeze as she suddenly stops midscream.

It was then all the ice around me chattered into snowflakes along with the ice that was freezing me. I breathed in and out finding my power within me warming myself and my almost frozen blood stream now able to move.

I dont know what stopped her screams, but if her power was also suddenly cut off I dont think its any good. The room seems sound proof since I couldn't hear a thing all except for Ice's screams that were now silent.

I tried opening the door but it was locked. I heard a whimper and grew panicked. As weird as it sounds I have even more enhanced vision than other agents other than Ice, her's are even more enhanced.

I took out one of my guns and shot the door knob but the dang thing is titanium, the whole door is titanium. That means I can only make a dent, I wish Phil was here. I sighed and panicked once again as I heard a whimper and a harsh noise like something was thrown, something big.

"looks like they found you" I heard a girl sneer and a slap noise along with a grunt.

Thats it. I out my hands on the door and summoned the last of my power concentrating one the door. This is going to be hard, seriously I'm trying to melt titanium here but then again my flames aren't normal flames.

their even hotter. I watched as the door started melting.

"fuck" I heard a man curse from inside.

"we need to hurry they'll be in here soon." he spoke.

"oh calm boy" an eery voice spoke. I shivered almost losing focus on my powers.

"almost there" I mumbled shocked by the malicious aura's seeping out.

"We're finished here" I heard the eery voice clearer as I was almost through, only a few seconds, until I heard the most frightening sound.

The clicking of a gun.

I increased my power quickly picking up a gun I found on the floor as I burst through.

I saw Ice bruised and cut pinned on the wall by the neck by a man with a malicious aura.

"Ice!" I shouted her Violet eyes snapping towards mines before a gunshot rang out.

sorry for the late updates been busy with my oher book since its entering the Wattys. Waatttt. lol cant stop doing that.
